Hands down, some of the best food in town! It just depends a little on who’s cooking that day since portion sizes can vary, and sometimes the wait time for to-go orders is a bit longer than expected. Those are the only reasons I didn’t give 5 stars, because otherwise the food is amazing.

Stopped for lunch today and they only had 5 tables seated. Waited for 15 minutes and never acknowledged us. Two servers were laughing with locals. We left and they just watched us leave like we don’t care.

I'm sad I didn't ever visit this place when I was a college student living here. The food was really good and the aguas were my favorite. Service was good and I'm glad I ate here for my graduation. I think it beat all the places that were packed. I ordered the sopes and really enjoyed them. As a matter of fact the picture of the sopes caught my attention for my family and I to celebrate my graduation. Local restaurants like this make me miss Hobbs.

Atmosphere too loud. Too many things on at same time. It can be overwhelming.

the food is good, never had a problem but this last time they took 1 hr to do my order n my food was overcooked. the service wasn’t the best, there was people that ordered after me n received their order first, the food was ready they just didn’t give it to me.🤷🏻‍♀️

An absolute pleasant experience eating here. For context eat on a Wed around 12:40pm. Not busy, food came out in a reasonably time. The hot sauce, for me, was perfect. A little heat and a lot of flavor. First time eating at here and got the tacos with beans and rice. Delicious! Tasted like my Abuelas cooking, and brought back good memories. Will be back for more complex dishes.

Yelp
On 11.03.2025, I DoorDashed three El Paradero #2 entrees to my house. I'm bumping up my rating because: 1) They are the most affordable Mexican restaurant in town 2) The Chile Rellenos ($9.99)! Eeek! Seriously the BEST in town! 3) Their kitchen worked fast on a night when I was really sick but my kids were starving and I didn't want to infect their side of the house. My oldest had the beef enchiladas with red sauce ($9.99). She usually very tolerant, but she said they were a little too spicy. I told her to save the leftovers. I tried them. They have a kick, but not too spicy for me. My oldest had the cheese enchiladas with green sauce ($9.99). Again, it was spicy for her, but she couldn't stop eating them. That's a good thing. Finally maybe she is building up a tolerance for spicier items - match that personality! Lol. This place is quickly moving up on my favorite list of Hobbs restaurants. I hope to have a good dine-in report by the end of the year.

Yelp
OMG, their breakfast burritos were very delicious. I asked for hot sauce. I did didn't realize it was going to be that hot. But still delicious.
