The 34 Best Outdoor Restaurants In London - London - The Infatuation

"On a sunny day, El Pastor's terrace outside Battersea Power Station is the place to be. The mood calls for margaritas (even if it’s a Tuesday), platters of short rib, and great baja fish tacos drizzled with tangy verde fresca. It’s an excellent group spot, but the vibrant terrace can turn a quick after-work Mexican dinner for two into a fun evening." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna

El Pastor Battersea - Review - Battersea - London - The Infatuation

"Come to El Pastor for tacos, and stay for the holiday-like energy. On a sunny day, the terrace outside Battersea Power Station is the place to be. You can count on at least a couple of margaritas on each table (even on a Tuesday), platters of short rib are wiped clean, and baja fish tacos are drizzled with tangy verde fresca and finished in three clean bites. Yes, it’s a fun group dinner spot, but the hectic, vibrant dining room and high counter-like seating on the communal tables inside can also turn a quick after-work dinner for two into a lively evening. Dishes that start off as good are elevated to great with the addition of the salsas which range from tangy and mild, to fiery once you reach the 'del vic'. The ceviches are lime-heavy and excellent, the guacamole is welcome during all parts of the meal, and the outdoor terrace is just the cherry on top when the weather is cooperating. photo credit: Teo Della Torre photo credit: Teo Della Torre photo credit: Teo Della Torre photo credit: Teo Della Torre photo credit: Teo Della Torre Pause Unmute" - Rianne Shlebak

DELICIOUS TACOS IN LONDON?! Okay, okay hear me out, I too was skeptical but after turning every other restaurant down that my husband suggested as we tried to figure out what we were going to eat for dinner, we walked by this place and decided to give it a try. Let me tell you, it was one of the best meals we had while we were in England for an entire month. Before we get to the food, I must give a shout out to the staff who were so warm, friendly and attentive. What we ordered: The short rib tacos for sharing. I am not exaggerating when I tell you it was DIVINE. The meat was so well seasoned and flavorful and it was literally falling off the bone. No, seriously, they bring it to your table, bone and all, and shred the meat for you. It’s served with unlimited tortillas and some fixings for your tacos such as pickled red onions cilantro, etc. Caesar salad: A good solid caesar salad. Not the best I ever had in my life, but it was fresh, not too much anchovy in the dressing and came with a ton of shaved parmesan on top. Elote corn: nice and flavorful, corn was not soggy. Great smoky flavor from the grill. Guacamole: fresh and flavorful. Margaritas: Well balanced, not too sweet and enough alcohol to where you could taste it but it didn’t make you grimace. I ended up ordering 2. Beer: Not sure which beer, but my husband said it was his favorite one he tried our entire trip.

If your'e looking for great mexican food or if you are a fan of margs this is my favourite in London. I have been 3 times in the past year and have noticed quite an improvement in the food and options ! The place is beautiful with great lighting especially if you are near a window and has outdoor seating. The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable and also helpful with making the right choices. I enjoyed the chicken taco. The short rib was definitely my favourite and the corn ice cream dessert should not be missed.

A solid spot to satisfy your taco cravings, serving up the essentials in a laid-back setting with decor that blends rustic charm with casual elegance. The staff were warm and efficient, adding to the welcoming vibe. The beef tacos were flavorful and well-prepared, using quality ingredients that really hit the spot. The salsa had a decent variety — the first two on the left packed the most flavour and were most mild in spice heat— and the tortilla chips were a standout: crispy, not greasy, and perfectly salted.

I had a fantastic experience dining here! Our server, Ciro, was exceptional and provided wonderful recommendations for both food and drinks. I especially loved the Mezcal, particularly the El Pastor Batch. We tried the Tuna Tostadas, Beef Steak Quesadilla, Baja Fish, and both side dishes, and everything was delicious and of great quality. The ambiance is modern and inviting, making it a lovely place to enjoy a meal. I highly recommend it! Expect to spend around 35-50 per person. Ciro Mille Grazie

Absolutely gorgeous atmosphere, lovely staff and such great food! Our waiter was so helpful and friendly, and made sure to tell us the specials! We had the apricot & basil margarita, the spiced mango margarita, chicken tinga tostadas, the beef tacos and duck tacos. All food and drinks were brought out promptly and was amazing!

The food was pretty good… this is high praise indeed from my San Antonio husband. However, you CANNOT add your own 12% tip when the service was ok (at best), you charge for tap water and here’s the reason I could only give it 2 stars … you broke the cardinal rule (especially when nickle and dining me): there were no complimentary bottomless chips and salsa.

The interior is really nice here and the service was great, we even got a free Margarita as it was national margarita day! The food let the experience down though, I was excited to try the Mexican brunch but some of the dishes were a bit weird. The chilaquiles was sort of soggy tortilla chips with an egg on it and the pancakes had crispy pastor ends which were a bit intense. Loved the chilli agave syrup though. And the guac was so green and delicious. The granola was also really nice.

We randomly popped into here for lunch over the bank holiday weekend and were pleasantly surprised. The food came out VERY quickly! I would definitely order the 5 sauces the mango habanero one was my favourite and the hottest sauce didn’t taste of much. I wouldn’t order the daily special pinto beans they were just average. The spicy frozen margarita was THE best frozen margarita I’ve ever had! It was quite busy but the staff definitely were the right amount of attentiveness. I got the steak enchilada and my friend got the chicken of fish baja I believe I may be wrong! The potatoes were lovely would definitely recommend ordering those! All in all I definitely would return
