"Broadmoor rejoiced when this cute corner cafe opened in 2015, as chef Lindsey McLellan quickly positioned it as a casual, family-friendly neighborhood joint; low-key and welcoming, reasonably priced, and most of all, delicious. New to me place. The Peacock in English. Great service and excellent food. Deep, rich, flavors. Good prices. My 13 year old even loved it. I had enchiladas, and he had a burrito. The guacamole was great, and so were the plantanes. Solid place. We will go back.

Everything was great! Sat at the bar, great service from the bartender! Although... Rudest. Manager. Ever. Whatever you do, don't ask her for something that is considered a server's job like asking for silverware because your food is in front of you and you have no silverware. Basically told us it's not her job. I've been in the service industry for 2+ decades and even the worst managers I had would never say that to a paying customer. It's too bad, the place is good, just left a bad taste in my mouth. Bartender was awesome though! Manager should find a new line of work.

One of my all time favorites… best tamales in Louisiana. Great service, food and killer drinks. Margaritas are on point and the beer is nice and cold. Love the atmosphere… a little “seat yourself” cafe style. The food is super fresh, house made tortillas and rotating specials, all a great price. 😎👍

Everything about this place is fantastic! From the amazing spicy popcorn to all the items in the menu!! We all ate something different and they were all wonderful. The server was friendly and efficient, the atmosphere is cute and fun! Highly recommend!

10/10. Best Mexican food in the city. Unlike a lot of "boutique" mexican restaurants in this city, they make their tortillas in-house. Homey dining room that felt like my grandmas house. This is as authentic as it can get here. Will be returning. Food is priced great for the quality and the taste.

Absolutely phenomenal food, as always. The atmosphere is so laid back and friendly. The perfect place to take a break from the chaos of life and enjoy incredible Mexican cuisine. Tamales are a must, as well as the crab queso and salsa verde with chips. On days that they have the birria tacos, run don’t walk. They’re out of this world. I STILL haven’t had everything on their menu, but will be dancing my way through it in time.

I’ve never had a bad meal here. Probably the best and most authentic Mexican food in the city. The servers are all so nice. Get any special they have! Always a solid choice. Definitely would recommend the crab and avocado quesadilla, fish tacos, and breakfast burrito. Their happy hour is also solid. I only wish they were open later!
