El Pollo Loco

Went yesterday on hero day and the food was so fresh and amazing. Will definitely be a regular.

Finally in WA!! Everything was as I remember! Delicious!!! I also appreciate the fabulous and welcoming employees. I'm already planning to be back soon but it will continue to be crazy busy for some time so be prepared for long wait times. I suggest to park elsewhere and walk over. Hoping for a bigger location opening up in the near future.

So I went to el pollo loco on 12/30/2025 around 8PM. I witnessed a woman give attitude (the one who made a horrible review below this one) to the Employee turning her away. This employee politely told her that they had to close the line because there were already multiple cars in the drive thru all the way on the street. He literally did this to everyone who came. He was really nice to this mean lady and I wanted to catch his name so I could include him in this but I never did!!! He made conversation with those who were waiting in the drive thru line too. He also made sure other cars never cut us off in line- because trust me, some cars will try and squeeze in but he tells them to turn around lol. He was just doing his job, and politely too. About the Food- it was 10/10 and definitely tastes like the locations in California (San Diego girl here). They also threw in an extra burrito for us- so we really appreciated that!!! The ONLY thing I can really “complain” about is when I got to the window, she told me they were out of Large Lids so I had to get a Small Drink instead. Fine by me! I will definitely be coming here again. Editing to add: the lady deleted her comment so yall probably won’t be able to see it lol

Food taste great just like Cali but the wait is crazy and they only gave us 11 out 16 pieces and 4 of them were soo small and dry it didn't have chicken .

Good food and good service. Drive thru line was super long so we walked in. Got our food (for two people) in like 10 mins or less during the lunch rush. $17 for two people includes drinks and a small side of chips. I will definitely be back.

The black why who was controlling the drive thru cars has horrible communication skills. I accidentally went through the wrong side and I found an empty parking spot and then he followed me and told me that I had to get out because there’s a big line waiting and I told him that line is for the drive-through and he said no it’s actually for both then why are people not parking in all the other empty spots that are towards the drive-through? makes no sense he really wanted us to leave. Made our first experience here horrible. Maybe put a sign up that says it’s the same line. We wanted to park at the Starbucks next-door, but there was no way to get in there because of all the cars that were blocking the entrance.

This place desperately needs an expediter. They have plenty of staff but very little organization. The food is good, but the wait is chaotic and far longer than it should be once you place your order.

I actually waited six hours yesterday for my order to be wrong after driving 15 miles to get there. The food was good, I just wish my order was correct and that I got everything I paid for.
