Google
I'm from California and this is one of the few places in Tulsa that reminds me of home. The tacos are amazing with fresh ingredients, friendly staff and relatively fast service. This is one of the best places for authentic Mexican food. My go to for street tacos and birria. Definitely worth the trip.

Gabriella A.

Google
I used to love eating here would always come to eat after work. But now the quality has gone down tremendously. The chicken tacos are charred and taste burnt and are stiff with hardly any flavor. The adsda burrito was mostly filled with rice and hardly any asada and when you do taste the “as a da” its also slightly burnt with no flavour. Disappointing. Maybe it's because it became popular. But this is not good at all. Better off going to la taqueria Sheridan. At least they're consistent with good quality food

Google
Ordered tacos of lengua came home to find out they’re asada! They’re already over priced and to pay for something and not receive is just bad business. My last time coming here

Monique

Google
Used to attend Rhema and I loved coming here for carne asada tacos.

Mendel Murdock J.

Google
I had the California Burrito & Asada Fries. Update: Ordered Asada Fries & a Burrito Mojado. I frequent this place often & have never been dissatisfied. Great hours of operation.. *UPDATE* Went here for Taco Tuesday. I ordered a chicken & steak birria pizza for the first time it was good.

Kanden S.

Google
Usually have good experiences here and I get the same thing every time… my torta this time had no avocados and no jalepenos. They also said they put salsa in the bad and put none at all… definitely bad service for the price.. hopefully they do better next time

Google
I'm very disappointed in these tacos. The taste is mid. Nothing special flavor is just basic asada. My issue is the size of the taco. This is the smallest taco I have ever had. I don't even know where to find this small of a corn tortilla. I spent 25 on 4 tacos with cheese and burrito. No drinks.... These tacos are BS. Not worth 2, Or 3 idk how much adding cheese was. I wish I could leave a picture

Google
Best tacos in Tulsa! Holy smokes - these were so good. Growing up in the area I remember when this place was a single food truck that sat outside the gas station. Now it’s taken over the gas station and has three additional trucks. You know they’re doing something right if they’re expanding! I had two crunchy tacos with tongue, one Pastor soft taco, and one Asada taco. The Asada was super smoky and delicious. The tongue tacos were phenomenal. Pastor taco was actually really good too. The service was great - the staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place!!

Yelp
I LOVE THIS PLACE, they get me right everytime and have taco tuesday. love the people as well

Yelp
We have been trying to find authentic Mexican food here in Tulsa for awhile, and we finally did! The Roja salsa definitely has a kick to it, thank goodness. The crispy taco was a basic crispy taco and it was perfect. The Carne Asada had such good flavor on its own, and wasn't dry at all. My husbands birria was everything he wanted and more, and the flavor was spot on to those we've had in Mexico!
google avatar

Tawana H.

Yelp
This is one of our favorite food trucks. My husband isn't easily sold on food trucks or food places for that matter. He loves when I say let's get tacos. I love the street tacos, the nachos and the burritos. My husband also loves the crispy tacos. He has never had crispy tacos that stay crispy until we get home but these do! The service is quick even when the lines are long. They also have seats for you to enjoy your food once you order it. There are three trucks lined up in a row. Most nights they have two that you can order from. If you want some good tacos this is a great place to go.

Michael X.

Yelp
Food is great. I've been coming here for many years. I've never had a problem with service. Only reason I give a 4 star is cause the prices of rose significantly in recent years. I get theres inflation and etc but $18 for a California burrito & 2 tacos is pretty high. I remember when it used to be $12 total. Used to be my go to spot every Sunday. Now I just treat it as a "once in a while" thing. When I feel like treating my self to some good Mexican food.

Joe C.

Yelp
Fire burrito Fire torta fire salsa always open not 24 hr but normal operating hours always order from here
google avatar

Kenny G.

Yelp
always amazing, especially late into the evening. service is friendly and quick. they have the best carnitas and asada. that's what i order when the pastor is sold out, another mark that their food is wonderful. the rice was perfectly seasoned too. you can sit at one of the many tables they have outside or take it to-go. it is easily my favorite place to get tacos. not sure why their birria truck was closed on a saturday night, but i would like to give that a try at some point. love, love this place.
google avatar

Yelp
We came on a Friday night. I ate carne asada street tacos and it came with a radish, jalapeño, and limes. The tortillas were fresh but a bit thick and carne was flavored to perfection with raw onions and cilantro on top. The salsas are on the side so you can add as much as you like. It reminded me of a small taco shop in Fresno, California. We will be back
google avatar

Krupa H.

Yelp
I tried the California burrito from el ranchero before an FC Tulsa game. All I can say is SO Much food. The food wax fresh and tasty, my only two complaints are that there was too much (I hate wasting) and that it was slightly on the dry side (which makes sense for a food truck since you don't want to go dripping down the street. The people we're also nice and knowledgeable. :)

Kimberly P.

Yelp
Great food and they stay open late. I got the carne asada tacos with red sauce and it was amazing! They also have a sink if you want to wash your hands after eating in the seating area.
google avatar

April M.

Yelp
Food was okay but ask for y'all receipts . They be stealing or adding "tip" for themselves.

Zachary-Daniel M.

Yelp
I had the street tocos and they were fire I even went back the next night and got the same thing The service was really good too the fast and good

Shyla L.

Yelp
My favorite taco truck. There birria tacos are amazing. Service is always pretty quick even with the bustling line and food is ALWAYS fresh.

Mike F.

Yelp
This used to be excellent Mexican food - great food at a fair price. Went today for the first time in a few months, this has reversed: now fair food at great price. My quesadilla came wadded up in the container - quality has really slipped, but that hasn't stopped them from raising prices significantly. Will likely not be back
google avatar

Myranda K.

Yelp
The chicken flautas had a bland seafood taste. The beef street tacos were boring. The rice and beans were decent. We won't be back.
google avatar

Johnny S.

Yelp
Three stars because of the poor service! If you don't speak Spanish you might not get your tacos...lol. Seriously call your order in 918.951.7859 or your in for a hellawait because it is a popular joint for all the drunk Mexicans!
google avatar

Derek R.

Yelp
They are scamming people who are not Hispanic out of extra money and pocketing it. Ordered 6 tacos at $2 ! Piece and they said I owed $20, told them to correct the math, they said $19, nope! After other customers overhead me and started saying yeah I need an itemized receipt they quickly handed me cash back, scamming people

Bella A.

Yelp
This place is delicious! Visiting Tulsa and I almost gave up on finding some authentic tacos around here (and I've tried a lot so far). Thank you so much for a taste of home! The shrimp tacos were amazing and the salsas were spicy and so flavorful!

Aly F.

Yelp
Best Mexican Food Since moving to Tulsa/BA a year ago. Havent tasted food like this for a year! Thanks to school event, weve found our new taco spot. The Torta was amazing. The tacos too! Thank you!!
google avatar

Bruno F.

Yelp
I was staying at the hotel right next to this truck. I thought it was great for the late night munchies. They have a few numbered specials. I always keep it simple and got the street tacos. I was happy with my food. They weren't busy when I stopped in and saw a lot of unhappy people waiting for their food. Sometimes you can't rush good food but you also have no excuse when you're not busy. I saw someone give a burrito back and they tried to recycle it to another customer that was waiting. That was a big no no and you lose a star for that. Prices were also a little weird. I can't say it was the best I've ever had but it was still good.
google avatar

Carla S.

Yelp
Made a late night taco run here one night to take back to our hotel. Tacos were not cooked right. It was as if someone had dumped too much spice on half of them, while the other half were flavorless. Plus WAY too much cilantro on top. Go easy with it, a little goes a long way. And their salsas were no good, did nothing to help save them. Not sure what happened, maybe just an off batch?
google avatar

Michelle F.

Yelp
Go try these tacos! Open late, and always delicious. I'm not sure how they season their meat, but the asada has almost a smoke flavor - super flavorful. I ordered 3 tacos for lunch and they allowed to me mix chorizo with the carne asada. So yummy!!! I loved the tacos so much that I went back that evening for dinner. The green salsa was mild and flavorful. The red is also tasty, but HOT. The only reason they lose a star is because of the ambiance at night. I was alone, and there was a pretty rough crowd hanging around with no security. Luckily I called ahead and was in and out fairly quickly.
google avatar

Jon C.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite food trucks. Because it feels like you get restaurant portions. The salsa though is what takes this place over the top.
google avatar

Lance H.

Yelp
The customer service here is absolutely unacceptable. The employees are incredibly rude and Acts racist. Other Hispanic customers were treated with respect and courtesy. The white customers were greeted by dirty looks and unprofessional service. Will definitely not be coming here for any reason.
google avatar

Gary M.

Yelp
This food truck is always on point with the tacos. Some of the best tacos in the city to be exact. I always get chicken, steak & chorizo, no onions. They have this sauce that goes with it & if you're into spicy stuff, it's definitely fit for you. What makes them different from others are their selection of drinks. I usually get the pineapple water, one time it wasn't available & they actually had cantaloupe water, which ALMOST tasted better than the pineapple. What I love most about them, is that they stay open real late, especially on weekends.
google avatar

Kaamil V.

Yelp
Awesome food. Open late. 3am. Always busy. Fast paced. You can order uber the phone too
google avatar

Michael R.

Yelp
Great when you want something quick and fast. The chicken quesadilla is amazing. I live around the corner from this truck and I always call because they always have a line. I pull up tell my number get my food and be out of the way. Another perk they are open until 3am..

Garrett M.

Yelp
Fantastic! Best Mexican food we found in Tulsa during our stay! The carne asada has great flavor and the quesabirria tacos were excellent!

Logan L.

Yelp
I have been multiple times, and while they won't kill you with kindness both over the phone and at the window-- the food is solid, however I do feel like the price point is a bit high for the quality of food that they are serving. I just picked up a California burrito and a side (thimble) of guacamole for $14.87. I didn't realize that with the California burrito you were additionally being charged California prices? I fear that this will be my last aventuras to el rancheros.
google avatar

Shawn C.

Yelp
Tried the Gordita lunch special first time... the Asada was very flavorful and the red sauce has a hint of smoke..delicious!
google avatar

Nikki E.

Yelp
This is by far my favorite street taco spot! The meat is seasoned to perfection. The rice is always great and plentiful. I go here once a week for Taco Tuesday. I am never disappointed. I love that the lady remembers me and my order. It gives a homestyle vibe. I am definitely returning soon. Oh, almost forgot, BEST SALSA AROUND. I am a spice feen. I love the heat the salsa and the peppers bring. I also love that they cook the onions before putting them on top.

Ty A.

Yelp
Tacos are decent value, but the quality is subpar at best. The pastor was essentially flavorless. The tortilla was soggy as if it had been sitting in a warmer for hours and may have been microwaved for all I know. Overall, I will not be returning for a repeat experience

Tila D.

Yelp
If you want to find the worlds worst Torta, look no further! Highly disappointed with the tortas we ordered tonight. Both were awful.

Britaney G.

Yelp
Overpriced. Everytime they change their prices. Almost $16 for a burrito I'm good . They use to be good but the prices ain't adding up at all
google avatar

Jordan J.

Yelp
It was one of my family's favorite places in town.... until our credit card number got stolen. It was the only place we spent money with our debit card the day it was stolen and over the past month we've only used it at places with a chip insert. We haven't been using our card a lot due to Covid-19. After canceling the card we called and asked to speak to a manager. We were told they don't have a manager, so we told the lady on the phone we had an unauthorized purchases on our card, and she hung up immediately. Horrible customer service when we were just trying to inform them one of their employees possibly stole our account information. We've been there so many times and loved the food (we would drive 20 mins one way to get it).... it's a real shame we won't be going back now.

Yelp
THE BEAT TACO TRUCK IN TULSA!!!! This is the place I stop by whenever I'm in town to visit my wife side of the family. Well worth the wait and the HYPE IS REAL! Everything is great on the menu and you have to order the grill jalapeño on the sides, it's fantastic with the taco and the burrito! A must try when in TULSA!
google avatar

Austin N.

Yelp
I have just been on a taco kick recently and El Ranchero was another stand out. The street tacos are a staple but the torta's are as well!

Lauren L.

Yelp
The BEST steak in town!!! Everything I have ordered has been AMAZING! Great sauces too! Worth the little bit of a drive for us!
google avatar

Bobbie S.

Yelp
Street tacos that are wildly savory and authentic. The service is quick, and efficient though there are a range of options that they have.
google avatar

Tress L.

Yelp
This place has to be the best taco place in Tulsa. My husband and I get food from here about once a week. Crispy steak tacos and chicken quesadilla are my favorites. The owner just told me this evening, they are adding a truck downtown on 2nd street. I forgot to ask when but it might be on their FB page. A guy was there getting supper and he said he drives all the way from Owasso for these tacos. Believe me, it's worth a drive. A small convenience store is next door. So you can get Coke with cane sugar or an ice cold Modelo Especial to go with your meal. This truck is on 41st and 169. My man says ask for the green salsa. I say just get there the next time you want that crunchy taco you just gotsta have! Super Bueno my friend.

L.A. S.

Yelp
Awesome food and great selection of dishes. The staff is very friendly and the taco trucks are clean. The selection of dishes are trully authentic but they also offer options for those looking for Tex-Mex food.
google avatar

Carolyn-Roe R.

Yelp
Had to stop and try this good looking food truck out since their truck is really noticeable, and hard to miss. I think they share the lot with the convenient store because if you are paying with a credit card, you go in the store and pay with the ticket the taco truck gives you. They have their other trucks parked in the lot as well. Their street tacos were pretty good , but not as good as Supermercados Morelos off Garnett. So I give them 3 stars because I really expected more from these pretty shiny trucks. I think they are over priced on some of their plates as well.
google avatar

Mona C.

Yelp
went to get food from the truck , my order was wrong... Not a huge deal I caught it before I left. What was unexpected was when they corrected the order or "fixed it"?... Still wrong instead of being professional about it and try to get it right the woman in the truck started telling at me, not cool, I was willing to wait for them to fix my order I can understand communication problems but not rudeness.. won't be back. Just a warning to all who expect good service.
google avatar

Courtney E.

Yelp
This truck came to my work for Food Truck Thursday. The prices are decent, the staff was friendly, and the quality of their products are good. The tortillas taste homemade - I ordered a chicken quesadilla and it could have used a bit more cheese but that may just be my preference. A word of warning - the little 1oz container of red salsa that they give you, it's not for the faint of heart. The flavor is good but WOW it is spicy!!!! Like burn your mouth and make you start coughing spicy. I dipped my fork into it and immediately felt like my throat was on fire. Thankfully they gave me like 1/2 a cup of sour cream on the side to cool things down. I brought the salsa home for my husband to try, to see if I was just being a wuss, because he tolerates spice much better than I do. He confirmed that it was one of the hottest things he has ever eaten. SO your take away from this should be that the food is good, but the salsa might kill you.
google avatar

Dennene H.

Yelp
El Ranchero is the best authentic Mexican food I've had since I moved to Tulsa. I think this place is like a heart of Mexico in Tulsa

Ann L.

Yelp
Look, I work in the office complex down the road so I have been coming here forever. Tacos were always on point. Tortas just *chefs kiss* slapped, but I just can't anymore. 100% had a roach crawl right out of my bag y'all my soul left my body. Gagged. Threw out my food like, I'm devastated.
google avatar

Nomad T.

Yelp
Best Mexican food outside of LA. I spent the last 3 years in Los Angeles and ate some of the best Mexican food I've ever had while there. This place could match up with what I got used to out there. Try the al pastor. They do it up right! Ate here 3 times while I was in Tulsa!
google avatar

Christopher D.

Yelp
They have the best tacos in the world. I like the tacos so much I've never tried anything else. I'm just in town working but I eat here 2-3 times a week. I'll be sad when I leave just because of these tacos.

Johnny V.

Yelp
Food is terrible , all my meat were burnt. Don't even know how to cook steak and all my meat were burnt. Never going there again.
