Amazing tacos (seriously so tasty) and generous portions for a very fair price. Cute setting, super friendly and helpful waitress— they’ve really held up the already high standard of the OG Rey del Taco. Also, they have a cute little terrace in the summer. Highly recommend for Mexican food enthusiasts!

Delicious tacos, high quality meat, cute interior. Literally amazing staff, that was the best part - they are so friendly and welcoming. Love the spicy sauces it comes with. The only thing I would say that makes it not 5 stars is the price. Most taco places on Mont Royal cost less and just don’t include the rice side and chips side which don’t cost much anyways. So I would rather pay less for just the taco, given that the name of the restaurant is “express”. But it’s more of like a sit down restaurant, what a pleasant surprise. Wish I could give 4.5 but that doesn’t exist. Overall superb!!!

Ordered some suadero to go and it was extremely tasty. The staffs were super helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

Google maps says they close at 10pm, went there at 8:40 and they told me it was closed.

I ordered fish tacos. It’s 4 tacos per order. When it arrived, there were only sautéed vegetables in my tacos. I asked the cook about my order to make sure I did in fact receive the fish tacos and he assured me that I did receive the fish taco order and that the fish was “mixed in”. There was no fish in my fish tacos whatsoever. Also, about the 4 tacos, you will not receive 4 individual tacos. They lay 4 tortillas overlapped and just place the toppings on them as a whole. My 4th tortilla was completely under the third one so basically, never had enough topping to go into my 4th taco. Service beyond slow. We finally went inside to pay the bill because they started doing other random tasks while we were waiting and had already asked for the bill a good while earlier. By far, this was my worst taco experience in Montreal and probably any other taco place I can think of that I’ve been to.

Tasty tacos with exotic Mexican beverage in fountain. I let the chef decide what I ate and was not disappointed. Good portion served with a smile and fair price. Gracias :)
