El Reys Market

El Rey has the best meat market I've found in the SW New Mexico. I was told that their meat is grass fed from Colorado. After the rib roast I cooked last Christmas, sooo tender and tasteful, I refuse to go anywhere else for meats. Absolutely worth the higher price for quality & flavor. Everyone associated with the market, is so friendly & knowledgeable. BEST avocados too!!

I love this butcher. Wish I could have this business wherever I traveled. This is the best place to get any meats 😉. I love the fajitas 🤤

My Husband and i were going through town and saw this meat market. So we stopped. The Gentleman inside were very knowledgeable and so kind to us Gringos 😆 They cut us two thick steak and we cooked them when we got to camp. Thanks guys they're delicious. Great flavor. Next time were coming through we'll definitely stop again.

Excellent customer service. My wife and I drive from Las Cruces just to come here for our carne asada and fajitas. Always worth the drive

Great place for Mexican style beef, pork and fish. They even have oysters!

Visited El Rey's Meat Market for the first time today. I am new to the area. Years ago I lived in Los Lunas and bought all my meats at Pat's Meat Market. I loved it! So was hoping since I was finally back in New Mexico, I would find another quality meat market and I did today. Had meat from El Rey's for lunch and dinner. It was excellent as were the flour tortillas from there. Their meat selection is awesome and the people there were so nice! I am going back on Saturday.... If you haven't tried it, you should.

We stopped here a while back for dinner (April) and the food here was awesome. The waitresses were quick, friendly and attentive. We checked out the meat market and I just pulled our Italian sausage out of the freezer for dinner tonight. Wish we had more freezer room because these were phenomenal! Will definitely stop again on our trips through.

We traveled from Silver City to Deming because we could not find a decent steak in our town and we were not dissapointed!! Worth the hour drive! Best steak I've made in a long while, great meat makes a great steak!!

I went in El Ray Market randomly to check out the selection and got some ground beef and yes ofcourse they had some! Took it home and made burgers! Delicious!!! Also found no sugar added bacon! Will go back for steak and more!

We stopped by on our camping trip to Florida. We bought their chicken fajitas. We cooked it in our camper. It was so delicious. The chicken was perfectly trimmed. Fresh onions and peppers with it. If we lived there, I would definitely go back. The gentleman working the store was very friendly and helpful. Thank you.

We stopped by El Rey Meat Market to get some chicken on our travels; all they had at the time was some marinated chicken. After we set up our trailer we cooked it up and decided to get more on our way out of town the next day so that we could share it with our family. They enjoyed it as much as we did. While we were there on our second trip, we decided to pick up some of the ground beef. It was some of the best burger we have ever had. Do not go in there and decide the meat products are too high priced; trust me, they are worth every penny you spend on them.

Have recently gotten perfectly trimmed tri-tip from El Rey (and I'm from that area, so I know....), and am currently eating a killer spaghetti sauce with their hot Italian sausage - the best!!!! Now I have to figure out how to justify an hour drive every week or two to get great meats!
