I dropped a friend off at the airport for an early flight and stopped at this place since it was open before 7am. I expected everything to be good, but OMG they have the most delicious empanadas and buñuelos! I almost went back in for more.

Decent food and totally worth it. 4 stars is only because of the lack of veggie in meals and cash only, but I will keep coming.

Every time I came to this place all the ladies give you attitude and this is honestly the last time I’m here I’m never coming back to this place such horrible actitude they give you here o asked politely if I can have more sauce and they said no only for empanadas said can I pay for an extra completely ignore me such rude woman

Their beef empanadas with the mashed potatoes inside are my favorite. It's better than the chicken ones. A little hole in the wall spot near Maverick Station. Service is good and fast. There isn't a lot of seating since it's always poppin' inside.

I was in town visiting family and randomly ran into this place. It is small but the food was top! I love how they have an outside sitting area as well. I ordered their empanadas and grilled chicken and I was amazed. They even brought the food outside for us which was sweet and kind considering the atmosphere. I highly recommend this place. I shared an empanada and I was low-key upset about it lol

Fantastic empanadas, which is what I go there for. Both chicken and beef are good but the beef ones are better. Palitos de queso (sweet fried cheese sticks) are indulgent but absolutely delicious. You need to be careful not to scarf it down. I found the bakery items just okay - the various Columbian donuts and breads were on the dry side whenever I tried them, with too subtle a flavor. Finally, note that they only speak Spanish and only take cash. I've never seen a menu, price list, etc. How do I order? Point and hope for a miracle. But it works!

This place is awesome. My favourite thing to do in Eastie is grab a sweet, milky coffee and a dedito de queso or empanada at El Rinconcito and take it to the waterfront down the street. The staff are lovely, too.

This place has the best empanadas in eastie!!!! $2.50 and you will be full for a couple of hours! Not the nicest workers cause they probably rather talk to someone who can speak spanish but whatever, I'm just there for the yummy food.
