Loved the food. Pupusas and tamales were traditional and delicious. Freshly made and hot. The salsas and cabbage salad hit the right spot. If you are visiting Lexington and are craving Salvadorian food this is it.

Google
We loved this place! Comfort food made from scratch. A modest place that we would not find or not for google leading us here on a road trip, but what a delight. I enjoyed speaking with the restaurant manager who showed me the woodwork in progress all made by hand by the owner. Lots of locals eating here which tells you it’s good. Highly recommended if you want to try Salvadoran food and hospitality !

Google
Tried going but seems to have closed. No open sign and only thing there was be market. Edit: we came when it showed it was open. There was no open sign and no where to find a door. If you are still open then you need to make it more accessible for people to find. We came at 7 PM a weekday and could only get into the market.

Google
Staff is so nice and they do their all to give you the best experience. Food is super tasty and authentic :)

Google
We'd drive over from Kearney just for the pupusas! This time my husband tried the fried fish and labeled it "excellent.". The tacos are on small, street taco sized tortillas, but overstuffed with delicious meats. Go.

Google
Nice place friendly people but take yo longer to service and i wait for more then 30 minutes and nothing so I pay a soda and left that ridiculous wait for to long

Google
Very good food from El Salvador. Very affordable and high quality. Friendly family owned businesses. I eat there when I stop through Lexington.

Google
If you are looking for authentic Salvadoran food, then this is the place to try. Service and food has always been good. They also have a nice drink selection. No alcohol. I would highly recommend you try the pupusia's. There are several kinds. All are really good. There are also other menu items if you want authentic tacos or other items.

Yelp
We were on a road trip through the Midwest and had eaten way too much BBQ. This place had great reviews which led me to choose it, and I'm leaving one to encourage others to enjoy it. The kids loved the chicken pupusas (they're a little like quesadillas made from corn if you've never had one). I really enjoyed the bean and cheese and the one with the green vegetable (loroco) that tastes like asparagus. If you like asparagus, definitely try that one. My husband liked the pork ones. The only thing I would do differently is drag the family out of the hotel room (not order it to go) because there was nice outdoor seating with a park across the road plus a nice indoor atmosphere.

Yelp
Just yum! This was my first time trying Salvadoran food, and my family and I loved it. The pork and cheese pupusas were our favorite

Yelp
Driving I-80 and found this pupuseria. We always search them out if we can. We purchased two each of the pupusas, each were so good and a corn tamale and pork tamale (not pictured). The pork tamale was amazing. Incredibly tender pork and the outside, even though very thick, was smooth, silky and flavorful. The corn tamale was sweet and came with Salvadoran sour cream. It was a great desert item after the very spicy, yet addicting, coleslaw. All for under $20.

Yelp
Well worth the drive off the I-80. Delicious food, served with love. Desayuno served all day!!! Also, I picked up a homemade quesadilla (cake!) to go. Yum. Thank you to the Yelp community for helping us find this place. No pictures because I ate everything so fast.

Yelp
The lady up front was extremely rude. After waiting over an hour for 3 tacos to go and she then decided to cuss me out in Spanish thinking I didn't speak it. She went into the back and hid in her phone. After I simply asked for more red Sauce and she spilled the red sauce in my bag. DO NOT RECOMMEND ! My food was also cold and inedible. Worst place in Lexington by far. How the hell is she still even in operation. If you don't speak Spanish do not go here. She'll over look you. Also they had 3 teenagers maybe pre teens in the kitchen.

Yelp
Fantastic food, great prices, fast service, and just a few minutes north of I-80. What more could you ask for when traveling through western Nebraska? One word of warning - the pupusas stay scaldingly hot for a long time, and if you're like me you'll end up with a burnt mouth since won't be able to resist eating them before they cool down. [Side note: What's with people giving a strong review but then only three stars?]

Yelp
Good lord this place is great. Amazing Pupusas, Tacos, platanos and Tamales. Also Burritos and tortas. We went there and got six pupusas (cheese, bean & cheese, chincaron), six tacos (al pastor, lengua, pollo), and two tamales (bone in chicken!). Total for the order was $27. Ridiculously cheap. The tamales appear to rotate. Also a good selection of Juaritos and mexi coca-cola. Great place to stop by when in Lex or passing through central NE.

Yelp
Cheap, fast, and delicious family owned joint on our road trip from Boston to Oakland. Generous salsa bar and mostly filled with Spanish speaking locals. Fresh ingredients and friendly staff!

Yelp
Tiny hole in the wall pupusaria. Found it while looking for breakfast in this town. Fried plantains, yucca and pupusas. I am always excited to see some kind of variety of food on the road besides fast food chains.

Yelp
Stopped by for an al pastor burrito and some pupusas. Good little spot to grab tasty food paired with a nice fresh salsa bar.

Yelp
Loved the Yelp reviews so we stopped in. Delicious fresh food, restaurant is nothing fancy but worth the trip.

Julia G.

Yelp
Amazing restaurant! A must-stop for anyone traveling on I-80. Tried the tacos, papusas and plantains and all were incredible. Fabulous service and prices. We will be back.

Yelp
Here for work. Honestly wasn't expecting to find Latin American food other than Mexican. This place was AMAZING! It was chilly during my stay in Nebraska so I had the Caldo de Res and O.M.G. absolutely delicious. The pupusas were great as well! The cabbage is very spicy (to me) but still good. So glad I stopped by.

Yelp
Didn't expect to find such good Salvadorian food in small town Nebraska. Stumbled upon this on a road trip and very pleasantly surprised. Had pork cheese and bean pupusas which were amazing and tacos al pastor. The tortillas were made from scratch and were great. Total hole in the wall, but well worth the stop. Might have to stop back on the return trip!

Yelp
Delicious variety of piping hot papusas served with spicy cabbage slaw and salsa bar. The salsa that came with didn't light my fire but the hot one on the bar did. Felt very authentic. A few tables for dining in but we did take-out and ate in a neabry park. My new favorite stop in west-central Nebraska. Good Latin American food can be very hard to come by out here. I would skip the chains of Kearney or North Platte for this spot.

Daniel J.

Yelp
Delicious fresh pupusas prepared with a smile. Came at breakfast time. Especially recommend the pupusas made with loroco and cheese. A little hidden gem with authentic cooking.

Ramona T.

Yelp
The food is very good. Always fresh, very authentic Salvadoran food. They recently moved to a new location which was supposed to be an upgrade from the last one... more room and remodeled.. BUT it's falling back on cleanliness. I don't know if they don't notice the grimy floors, unattended dirty tables that are already wobbling and SO cold during winter! TURN up the heat please to make the eating pleasant instead of trying to warm up while you eat.. if you are going to own restaurant be prepared to keep it at a comfortable temperature level for your clients

Yelp
This is a non-descript place that you have to be looking for to find but it's worth it. Food was excellent. We had a pork torta, some pupusas, fried plantains and some cokes. Open late which was wonderful. They stay pretty busy even late in the evening on a Sunday night but the wait wasn't out of the expected. Prices were good too. We will definitely go back the next time we're in the area.

Troy E.

Yelp
Didn't care for it. Advertise mixed fajitas but you can't have it with beef. We're told only chicken and shrimp. Asked for flour tortillas to make my own fajitas but was given thick corn tortillas that were terrible. The printed signs to show the food plates look like they were made by child. Better to put up nothing than pictures like that.

Ruth B.

Yelp
I small little place with great food. I did not know what a pupusas was but after seeing others recommend it Here I had to order them. The cook was even kind enough to show me what toppings put on them. We also tried their steak burritos and fried plantains. Recommend them all.

Rafferty B.

Yelp
Small locale, great food. Pupusas with cheese and loroco are delicious! Great deal, too!

Hardy M.

Yelp
This is a great restaurant! The authentic Salvadorian pupusas are delicious. Accompany a pupusa with platanos for a complete meal. The shrimp and chopped steak dish is highly recommended. Those are served with rice, beans, salad and hot homemade thick corn tortillas to die for.

Caroline C.

Yelp
Amazing food and kind people! The marinated pork is amazing and the prices are great. If you happen to be in Lexington, check this place out. It's wonderful!

Cody J.

Yelp
I stop here every time on my way back home to Colorado after visiting Iowa. So very tasty. It's all delicious :)

Mark S.

Yelp
Really good authentic food! Tortas could be a little fuller. But meat was good, pupusas were excellent. In a town of very few choices, this place is a gem. Very reasonably priced and nice, polite service.

Maylin M.

Yelp
We went to Lexington and found out about this place. Our 1st day and it poured and we went there for lunch. I order "caldo de marisco" and was expecting a small soup but nope, it was huge. 3 of us ate and still had left over. The pupusa are delicious and the tat ale de elote is just amazing. We were in Lexington for one week and we ate there 5 times at different times. We have eaten authentic Salvadorian food but this is the best. Dare I say it,better than my husband's family who are Salvadorian. Dying to go back.

Ryan S.

Yelp
stopped in for a snack and tried their pupusas. amazing! and less than $2! authentic place. If traveling along the I-80 or US-30/Lincoln Highway you should stop there.
