El Rinconcito Michoacáno

Stopped by this restaurant while in town. I was looking for somewhere with chilaquiles. I'm so glad I found this place. I ordered that and some tacos al vapor. One with chicharrones and one with desebrada. Chilaquiles were 5 of 5 Chicharrones tacos were 4.5 of 5 Desebrada was 4 of 5 I will def come back again. I loved how crispy the chilaquiles were!

The Food was amazing! Some of the best authentic cuisine in the area, don’t hesitate to check them out. I highly recommend El Rinconcito Michoacano to anyone in the area!

Great Food Clean Delicious Food and Atmosphere!!!

One of the few places in town that sells Tacos Al Vapor/ Tacos de Canasta. I had to try them out once I found out and they completely exceeded my expectations. The tasted exactly how I remember them from my childhood. All of the fillings were delicious and the tortilla was perfect. It is rare to find good Tacos de Canasta here in the Portland area, if any at all, I will be definitely be making the drive more often.

Food was good. I had sopes con carne asada and al pastor. Al pastor was delicious and the carne asada was good. My wife had tacos al vapor con chicharron, papas, deshebrada, and frijol. She loved the chicharron and papa tacos. They also make tortillas by hand that are really good. Been back many times since. Chile relleno, Pozole, torta de milanesa, gorditas, tacos. All are great and the way that it is typically prepared in Michoacan.

The food is terrible and there seems to be a microwave quality food cooked in the kitchen. Had the tacos and it were soggy. Soup was bland and burrito was dry on flavor

Ordered from Doordash on a whim. Both my wife and I remarked: "This may be the best Mexican Food we've had in the NW." Really good.

I can't pretend to know much about the cuisine of Michoacan, but this place has some of the best salsa verde I've had in Portland.

Place is located inside of the market at the far left side to the right . Wasn't a lot of people when we went which was nice because we could eat there, my only thing was that the tacos were kind of cold and I feel like they were rushed . They were good but could use some improvement and perhaps option to get salsa for them. Bean taco filling Beans typical beans creamy and yummy Desebrado is like sort of tasting enchiladas or the filling of a red tamale . Different but good too Taco de papá estaba un poco dulce por el tomate pero no le quito de lo rico lleva tomate y cebolla en la mezcla Chicarrón con chile verde En mi honesta opinión sabía muy fuerte a chicarrón como si fuera del otro día o recalentado . Está rico pero le quito puntos por eso

This is the 1st time going to this restaurant. I ordered the Menudo. I was very disappointed of the texture of the meat, and how much meat was given, literally there was only like five pieces of Menudo cut in my soup. Tacos and did not have the flavor needed as a Mexican dish. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

This place is a hidden gem that everybody in the area should try! It's located inside the tapatía market. All the food is made to order and fresh. Today we had the chilaquiles that we're cooked to perfection. The tortillas were crispy and the sauce had a nice kick to it but not too spicy. The other items that we've tried have also all been really good. Service is also prompt and always friendly. I can't recommend this place enough!

I'm moved here from Los Angeles about a year ago and have not found good chilaquiles anywhere in the area, until now. These are really good and I'm happy I finally found a place!

Best authentic Mexican food. I highly recommend it! They have a variety of Mexican dishes, all made with Doña Lety's touch. I literally drive 40 min to this spot!!

Best authentic Mexican food for miles! Freshly prepared and absolutely delicious food. Beautiful presentation & reasonable prices. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Mexican food.
