El Rodeo Taco Express

What an amazing place! It was recommended to go and try the tacos here and boy oh boy, what a great recommendation. As I pulled into the parking lot, I could smell the savory flavors of the chicken, meat, tacos, all the onions and cilantro. As I walked into El Rodeo, I was greeted by the staff, they were enthusiastic, helpful, very hard-working, and even took some pics with me. The server took us to our table, provided the menus, and brought back the beverages that we ordered within minutes. The server was super helpful in explaining what was in the dishes and also made some great recommendations. This place was a great open concept, with plenty a room, fresh air in an area for bands, and even dancing. As you can see from the pictures, we ordered some Carne Asada fries, tacos adobada, sopes , chicken and carne flautas, rolled tacos with all the toppings. Food is delicious. Well-staffed. Nice atmosphere with four or five large flat screen TVs. Very popular

They ran out of avocado this evening but Baldo was very attentive, courteous and served us well. Ambiance was great!

This place was...ok. we had a big party so we knew our order would take a while which we did not complain about or anything. However they did charge us for water even after a few of us ordering multiple drinks so that did place a sour first impression on me admittedly. One of the plates came out cold and we had to have them redo them and another plate came with lettuce when we asked for it without. The food was pretty ok. But nothing setting it apart from any other nearby Mexican restaurants. Tortas were big at least and the burger was decent.

Covered outdoor place with good inexpensive food, decent service, and a cheery feeling. But it's only open in the evening. it's a fun place to get together with the guys if the weather is good. UPDATE 10/16/23 the refried beans were not so good this time and the guacamole on my flautas was a bit brown. But still is a good time.

Good food but horrible service. Ordered to go on phone, got to restaurant on time and still waited another 20 minutes. Dude giving me food proceeds to give attitude back as if I was the one that was wrong.

Prices went up again 😪I love the sopes. The food is EXCELLENT here. The prices are great especially for the specials. The server is friendly. It is outside so it can be windy and terribly hot so try to go in the evening. I think they have live entertainment sometimes too. I’ll have to check it out.

Always prompt with my order, and their botany for 2 is actually servs more. Love it and always enjoy how friendly servers are.
