High expectations but turned out an overpriced and disappointing food with a bad service. We hat a table reservation at 2:30pm. They sat us on the only table with no window and facing a big stone wall behind a column. They didn't take care of our table after 20 minutes been sitting there,. We ordered the Menú Degustació and the first plate arrived to the table after 25 minutes we ordered, a total of 45 minutes sitting there with no food, any apology neither a plate explanation. The first dish was modified from the initial menu because they run off peas, the main ingredient, the alternative ingredient, fava beans made the dish no tasty how it was supposed to be. The second dish was really salty, we didn't finish it, we told it to the waiter but we didn't receive any explanation or apology about it. The third dish was okay and the fourth, the only meat dish, was the best.
Neither the bread that they served us was good, it was a bad quality bread, re-defrosted dry bread. We ordered wine by the glass and it was a small selection that we could choose from, in opposite from the big wine menu. We got the smallest wine glasses ever.
Unfortunately our experience was a disaster, they didn't take care of us and the food quality was just okay being nice. Only when we were leaving the table came the owner to ask us about the experience and when we explain it to her, she said a simple "sorry".
I can understand that an Easter Sunday is a busy day, but your business and service has to be good no matter that. You can't make differences between the usual costumers and the new ones, because these new ones won't come back again and they pay also. So sorry that they obviously don't care. We won't go back.
