***Updated comment after the restaurants lies in their response below. I called to ask if they served pescado frito before coming because it is what my mother was wanting, I did not place an order to go , and I didn’t order for my order to be ready in advance. The waitress did NOT tell me the red fish was very small prior to ordering as the restaurant says that’s a full out lie or I wouldn’t have ordered it. I was told my wait would be 20 mins for the fish after I placed my order inside the restaurant 5 minutes after my mom ordered her food but did in fact wait 35 minutes or more. The red fish was in fact burnt on one whole side of the fish causing it to be inedible on the one side and having barely any meat and was small, I showed the waitress and asked to change it for the tilapia instead to which she responded (I have to pay for it because there’s nothing she can do she’s allergic to fish and can’t take the food back because it’s a loss of product for them and it’s not her fault the fish is small) the waitress was not willing to do anything to be helpful, she told me she did not want to take it back so yes I ate the small palm full of fish because I had to PAY for a plate I was dissatisfied with, your cameras show the whole interaction but you can lie all you want. I didn’t eat my whole plate either only the fish and plátano, once I left I had to go order food to go from another restaurant and that’s a shame. Lo correcto es asumir la responsabilidad cuando te equivocas, pero mentir sobre la interacción arruina la imagen de tu restaurante. Que Dios te bendiga.
I ordered red fish expecting to get a normal sized fish, instead I got an extremely small fish and one side was burned and inedible. I talked with the waitress who told me she cannot do anything when I asked her just to change the fish out because it’s a high price for this fish without any meat, she refused saying she can’t pay for the plate because I asked to change it. She wouldn’t have had to pay for it, Not willing to be helpful at all, if all they had was very small fish it should have been told prior when I ordered. Rice and beans are not good either. I waited 35 minutes plus for this small fish when only having one other couple inside tho restaurant as well. Less then 1 star.
