Oaxacan flavors straight from the comal: tlayudas, huaraches, and quesabirria on house‑made tortillas. Praised by the Herald‑Leader in its roundup of taco trucks and beloved by locals for late‑night hours.

I don’t mind a food truck and I was excited to try this place. I’m a bit disappointed, the tortillas on the quesabirria tacos was so thick and the consommé was all grease, it was so very oily. The meat was really good on the inside. I just ate that.

Is been a while since I have rated a place I'm here for work and is been a while since I felt the need to do a review. This place is just so amazing mexican food around US seems to be trying to fit in mixing local flavors to fit in. This place in what mexican food is supposed to be flavors the salsas the hand made tortillas. Im from chicago our culture there if your mediocre you wouldn't survive and places out of chicago are just trying to call themselves mexican and there not. If you guys want to taste real mexican food this is it. I had to come eat 2 times and I may stop by tomorrow before going back home just because is amazing.

First time at this taco spot—and definitely our last. We found it through Facebook and thought it might be a hidden gem. Unfortunately, it was far from it. Service was terrible from the start. The cashier barely spoke English, was distracted on her phone while taking our order, and still managed to get it completely wrong. We ordered 4 asada, 2 barbacoa, 2 al pastor tacos, and a piña agua fresca. There’s a self-serve drink station on the far right, but the ice bucket had bugs floating in the water—totally unsanitary. It took around 30 minutes for our tacos to come out. Meanwhile, they were handing out the wrong orders to the wrong tables, which left everyone confused. When we told them there was a mix-up, no one came back to address it. After another 5–10 minutes, I had to go back up to the front. Instead of fixing the issue, the staff insisted we got the order wrong—without even confirming it with us properly. As someone who works in customer service, I was shocked at the lack of accountability or effort to make things right. Now for the food: bland, dry, and cold. Definitely not made to order, which is disappointing when it comes to tacos. From our party of six, it’s a unanimous no. Would not recommend.

This little taco truck tucked behind Marathon is a hidden gem. They have a nice little outdoor seating area where you can enjoy your meal. However, it is in a gas station parking lot but they defiantly did their best. The food and service is great. You order at the window (sometimes they come to your car but I think that's only if you are using cash) and after deliver the food to your car. They are always open later into the evening which is nice. This is a dinner to have at least once a week for me. It is also only 9-10 dollars for a meal which is a steal in this economy.

this place is a staple in Lexington, i tell all my friends about it, if you haven't ate here yet please try it! imo, very consistent, at least for the last 3 years...they have grown tremendously and not missed a beat. I've had almost everything on their menu at this point. Most recently the Tlayuda with al Pastor and it was so good. A nice patio to sit and enjoy your meal, and they have frutas and paletas now for dessert. sometimes it's mayhem in the parking lot, and 10 minute=25 but for me it has been worth it, every time.

I ordered chicken enchiladas in green sauce, side Spanish rice. I got French fries and no rice. When I opened the box I could smell something sour from enchiladas. I cut into the enchiladas and immediately could smell that the chicken was bad. The chicken was cooked but smelled terrible 🤢 It was to late take it back they had closed. First time trying this food truck and won’t go back wasted my $

In a place like Lexington where Mexican food trucks are a dime a dozen, El Sabor Oaxaqueno stands out as one of the best. My partner and I ordered the enchiladas verdes and quesabirria. It took around 15 minutes for our order to be prepared, but it came out hot and fresh as if every aspect of the meal was made fresh to order. The enchilladas verdes came 4 enchilladas and were stuffed full of shredded chicken and cheese, and were smothered in fresh made verdes sauce. The birria tacos were the biggest I have ever seen at any food truck or restaurant, both in physical size and the amount of meat in each taco. They were perfectly crispy and came with plenty of cilantro, onion, radishes, and consume on the side. This food truck is tucked away behind a gas station, so unless you're using directions to get there it is pretty hard to spot. If you're a lover of food trucks, this spot is a must-try.

By far the best within a 100mi atleast!! No restaurant can compare with the quality every time it is absolutely on point!! Fresh house made tortillas and aqua fresca very affordable.

Yelp
Street tacos are excellent! Highly recommend the Al Pastor and Asada. My wife and I have tried several street tacos places here in Lexington and this one definitely ranks #1 in our books. Also, the service is A+, very friendly staff.

Yelp
OMG!!! This truck needs a brick and mortar BAD!! We knew it was going to be good because the parking lot was over run. We had to park about a block away on the side of the street and walk to the truck. They had a few tables for sitting, and a couple of ladies that were providing full service. We ordered our tacos (carne asada and birria) and was told it would be about 15 minutes. It was more like 25 but with the amount of people there, I wasn't surprised. When we got home and dug in I swear I went to heaven! This was the best birria I've ever had! The tacos were huge! Loaded with beef! The broth was so robust and hot. I'm getting hungry thinking about it now. It was truly delicious

Yelp
Food here is great. Only thing I wish is that they added more pineapples to their El Pastor. We have been here 3 times and the wait has not been bad at all. I recommend this taco truck. They are also open until 1am.

Yelp
Delicious tacos and so many options to choose from and try! The tacos were very flavorful and fresh! The salsa verde they serve on the side with the tacos is excellent as well! The service was very friendly and despite being behind a marathon gas station the ambiance is really great! Excited to come back again soon!

Yelp
Handmade tortillas, I had the quesadilla campechana (steak and chorizo) was really good and it's a good size, I also ordered three tacos asada (steak) and barbacoa (shredded beef) I was mostly full with just the quesadilla, tacos were good my favorite one was the one of asada, the one of barbacoa didn't have much flavor. Prices were reasonable.
