El Sabroso

Came in for lunch, got my food pretty fast, it was hot, delicious, hit the spot. . 4/24/25 Came in again, for lunch break, Ordered the mojarra frita at 12:05pm at 12:30pm still had no food infront of me, complimentary chips were all ate and gone, my tea was empty, i look around the room and make eye contact with the waitress she then looks away.. other staff also just looked away. I wasnt re assured when or how much longer the food was going to take. I proceed to pay for my tea and chips and left unhappy. Was told by the waitress to call ahead next time and have them cook it before i come down to sit and eat. That it takes about 15 min to cook. I would say this is a good take out spot if you order ahead of time.but to sit and eat for lunchbreak probably isnt the best idea. Only one bartender and one waitress i have seen since attending this facility.

We had an amazing time. We were here during karaoke and loved it. The tacos were amazing! Service was excellent!! Don’t skip it! Very good! My husband said that his mango margarita was the best he has ever had! Definitely go!

It's sketchy looking from the outside but food is good and at reasonable prices, service is good but could be a little better. To my surprise they had paella I did not try it cause I wasn't that hungry but I do want to go back and try it!

Agua de Piña is the reason why I come 😂 it's fresh fruit no fake powder. The food is delicious 😋 fresh ingredients and the atmosphere is clean and welcoming 🙂 The ladies are all very sweet and courteous 😁

The food here was absolutely delicious can't wait to go there again and it's only like 2 mins away from where I live Yayyyy ❤️ I only paid 11 bucks for 3 enchiladas rice beans chips and salsa a really good price and the waitress was very polite oh and I forgot about the salad that came with it 😊

food was good but it was very obvious we werent welcome due to our skin color. Multiple people got served before us while we were waiting

This was first time ordering from here and let me just say, I have found my new favorite place for nachos, tacos and tostadas. EVERYTHING was delicious, fresh guac, the meat was well seasoned, the portions were perfect. Me and my co workers LOVED it!!!!!

From the chips and salsa to the pollo milanesa con tortillas maiz, everything was delicious. The food has a homemade vibe and it is my favorite Mexican restaurant. Don’t miss it!

My boyfriend recommended this place as a hole in the wall restaurant with pool tables inside where he used to go in and have a bite and play some pool. We'll they definitely don't have the pool table anymore and it looks run down. Don't let the aesthetics fool you the food was still good. Just needs alittle loving inside and I'm sure it would be as good as it once was

Good, fast, cheap! I was in a bit of hurry so didn't try anything other than tacos and horchata. The deshebrada was delicious. It was served quickly with a bowl of limes and radishes, which I love. The service was super friendly. I'd come back in a second.

Don't eat here. There was a goddamned roach in my sister's taco. She ate 4 before she got to the last one and looked inside. I nearly projectile vomited all over the restaurant. You know that saying, "not too shabby"? Well, this restaurant is extra shabby, and if you haven't heard...THEY SERVE ROACHES IN THEIR TACOS. P.s. Roach taco in the pics

Ordered tacos @ lunch today, fantastic. I have stopped in to this spot a few times in the past and it never disappoints. Chips are fresh, hot sauce is hot but not too hot and the waitress never lets the glass go empty. My to-go order was packed nicely and brought to the table. Well pleased with my experience today

Pésimo servicio desde el momento que entre al lugar. La mesera fue grosera al darme el menú y los chips estaban viejos. Preferí irme a otro lugar. No gasten su tiempo ni dinero en este lugar. Deberían contratar a personal más amigable. Ahora entiendo por que no había clientela.

My first review ever and I didn't think I could write this much!! Hahhaaa So I'm not from the area but we were starved and in the neighborhood this was probably the only place that was open until 11pm which was great, I ordered the fajita tacos and they were really good similar taste to the paisano tacos off Lombardi but less greasy i also ordered the pastor they were a little on the sweet side I prefer tangy and spicy luckily I also ordered a chile toreado (grilled jalapeño) which was hot enough to make everything spicy the hot sauces were on the mild side for me both red and green also I love at least one slice of lime on my tacos if not 2 and I hate when they bring me dry ass limes these were nice a juicy hahhaaaaa For drinks I ordered tamarindo which was really good and not a fake mix powder My fiancé ordered piña (pineapple) and that I tell you is one deeeeeellliisssshhh drink so refreshing and some pulp it was perfect.

Excellent food and excellent service. We often call in "to go" orders. The barbacoa tacos rock and the pazole is the best in town. Greatness!

This review pertains to the sister location (on Walnut I think?) The food is fantastic. My favorite thing to order is the hamburgesa hawaiina. Mexican hamburgers are already amazing, then add some jalapenos and pineapple and you feast like a king. We've tried almost everything on the menu except for breakfast and it has been fantastic.

Open 7-days a week, you want come here for good authentic food (and seafood) if you dare. They have tacos, Tortas, funky burgers, platters, fish, seafood cocktails and more. I opted for the Camaron Cocktail: lots and lots of small shrimp in a red sauce that was just delicious. A side order of fresh homemade corn tortillas were delicious.

Well we ate today at El Sabroso. We had roaches on our table. I will never so back to this restaurant. Based on our post I'm not the only one that had this issue. They need to take care of this before people get sick.

I like there tacos! I wish they would clean the meats better but over all. I liked the lengua taco! Yummy I was craving tacos and I didn't want to drive all the way to East Dallas. I give there tacos A+. If you order to go ask for extra hot sauce "green one" it's yummy. The red cream one is super spicy stay away! I can't wait to have more tacos

Came here for a bowl of Menudo because it's only served on weekends. The food was flavorless and nasty will not eat here again.

I have had tacos de carnitas and very good. Nice salsa. The weekend pasole and menudo look great.

Found a dead Woodlouse!!!!! on my plate, I noticed the dead insect after I almost finished my plate ! I'm Never ever ever going back there ! Encontré un insecto muerto llamado cochinilla en mi comida que ordene !! Esto es enserio ! Nunca regresó a ese lugar!

Very authentic Mexican food, very tasty, and pretty reasonably priced. Definitely try the atomico soup if you haven't had it. I could probably eat that stuff all day long and still never feel like I've had enough

Home style Mexican Food , a good place for a Mexican Breakfast . Their Huevos Ranchero is very tasty , I like to add a side of Chorizo to up the flavor . Prices are good , just a good place for a good meal !!

Good authentic food. ordered sope, pupusa, tacos al pastor, torta and quesadillas. All very yummy. Nice friendly staff but a little slow service. Ok because the food was good.
