"El Santo boasts an excellent location in the Triana district, a part of the old town with a special beauty and character that result from its original occupation by residents who settled here mainly from Andalucía. The restaurant features a pleasantly surprising decor that combines the stone walls of this restored property with attractive tropical details. To this backdrop, guests can savour bold cuisine that showcases typical Canary island recipes, with a fusion of Mexican cooking visible in some dishes. Don’t miss the black “papa arrugada” potatoes with mojo “snow” and mole mojo!" - Michelin Inspector

The location is great, the vibe within the restaurant is very unique. I did not like the sofa as a place to sit and eat. The fabric made it hot and uncomfortable to eat. The servers were phenomenal. Staff was kind and very attentative. The food was good, but not to give it 5/5. It felt like the prices were so expensive just because it is a Michelin restaurant. The tartar was 5/5 the other dishes nothing crazy. It was fun to tryout but I wouldn't come back. There was nothing that truly made this place stand out and worth the money.

We found this restaurant listed as a recommendation in the Guide Michelin – no star, but still enough to catch our attention. So we came here as a group of four, ordered several plates to share, and walked away with mixed feelings. Let’s break it down. My ensaladilla rusa with Lanzarote potatoes, a single prawn, and cherne didn’t stand out. In fact, it tasted like a pretty standard version – slightly dry – and the cherne got completely lost in the mix. My partner’s aubergine dish had a better flavor profile, definitely the stronger start. The steak tartare, according to one of our friends, was alright – nothing groundbreaking. For mains, we had the cannellono three times. The meat was tender and juicy, no doubt – but it was also a bit too salty, which threw off the balance. My partner’s tomato dish with El Hierro cheese was, in her words, simply boring. Dessert was the highlight. The chocolate tart and the creative combo of coffee and goat cheese were by far the most convincing dishes – rich, original, and actually exciting. We spent about €220 for starters, mains, two desserts, and tip. The service was lovely – attentive and warm throughout. But whether this place deserves its spot in the Guide? That’s still up for debate.

Creative dishes served in a beautiful environment. Most of the dishes were good but nothing was Wow. The corn bread offered great aroma, and the texture was fluffy with crispy outer layer. Pairing salmon with green apple sorbet is creative, however the fish we got was not that fresh, and the odor of the fish was not removed properly. The cannelloni was creamy in both sauce and texture, which made the whole dish a bit bland. The fish with green curry was outstanding, the sauce enhanced the flavors of the fish, and the texture of the fish meat was well presented. The portions were small, we were suggested to have 2 dishes per person, but I would say it takes 3 dishes per person to get full here.

Went here in the afternoon and were served immediately. Attentive staff. Beautiful food to share and very nice wines, also per glass. The meat was extremely good, soft and juicy. Not expensive. Unfortunately, there was some toilet smell in the back and plates were not always changed between courses. Also small things like different knives in the napkin and no butter knive. In my opinion all dishes were tasteful but quite salty.

Food p*rn from the beginning till the end - simple as that. Parmesan, butter, aioli, mojo come along with lamb, pork, seafood and fish and it’s absolutely amazing! Be careful with the amounts of dishes - they’re definitely on the heavier side. Staff, wine menu and ambience are great as well - we’ll come again.

A surprising place off the beaten path. An interesting interior with high quality service. The menu is short, but full of surprising flavours. We really enjoyed starters which are prepared to share. The Canarian wine we tried was really good. Worth visiting!

Fine dining at a fair price. I did have the dry tomatoes, the tartare, the risotto and the cannelloni as part of the tasting menu, All was excellent, as well as the service. Paid 50 euro each including wine glasses and one dessert.
