I wouldn't mind the kinda boring dining room, completely empty of customers, as long as the food is good..Which ended up being more hit and miss. First, tortilla chips tasted like from a bag, but their salsa was better. Taco trio plate was authentic but flavors lacked some. Tortillas were stiff and not fresh. Chorizo was the better of the meats, asada was decent, but the cubes of white meat chicken not so much. Their enchilada daily specials from the marker board were better, and also a great value at around $4. Just don't expect your typical cheese or sauce smothered rolled tortilla Tex-Mex version. These are authentic Central American versions piled high on single tostada, with lots of ground beef, vegetables and various other toppings. The Guatemalan version with beets and hard-boiled egg on top was delicious. The Honduran version had toppings similar to a pupusa, also very good. I'd return just for those. The tacos, tortilla chips, and ambiance, not so much.
Service was just okay, our drinks ran empty and the woman was glued to her cell phone the entire time.
I haven't yet tried their breakfast menu or more American items like burgers, so it's a solid 3 until I get around to those.
