El Segundo Eagle

We had a great little early dinner at the bar here. Shelby our server made us great margaritas and was very attentive. Only disappointment was a 3% kitchen appreciation fee added to our bill. Hope they take that off in the future. 😒

Same great food as the first location! There is plenty of patio space and the view is as breathtaking as the menu - The ceviche is the best!

Love the pozole and queso here but room for improvement on their online ordering systems. On three separate online orders over a couple of months..they didn’t know about the order until I arrived to pick it up (after I received a text that it was ready). They threw the food together quickly while I waited. Mariah is the best server. Communicative, friendly, and knowledgeable.

Food was good. Would go give it a second try BUT hygiene IS THE WORST. Waitress ate something behind the bar, spit it out in her hand and continued to make a drink. Bartender and servers use their BARE hands to pick out lemons from a container. Bartender was touching EVERYTHING, her hair, face etc and making drinks. Had to ask when we would get service as no one who was walking around was interested. Too bad there was no supervision

First experience tonight for a date night with my husband. The food was absolutely delicious. We had a great server. He had awesome recommendations and he was so kind and attentive. We are excited to try even more food.

We’ve been visiting our son who just recently moved to the Vail Valley, and have enjoyed trying all the restaurants the town of Eagle has to offer! Our experience at El Segundo was enjoyable. The service and atmosphere was exceptional, but the food was lacking. We ordered the ceviche and it came out looking a little “gray” in color, and tasted as if it had been sitting out for a little longer than it should have. The chips and queso were delicious, and I really enjoyed my taco salad. My husband ordered the crispy pork belly taco, the cod, and the hot Korean taco. The Hot Korean was the only one he enjoyed enough to finish, and it just seemed like the prices were a little high for the portions we received! However the service and atmosphere were enough to want to visit again, so we will be back on our next visit to Eagle!

Twist tie wire inside of taco, really hurt my tooth. Ate here tuesday evening. I was starving and plowed through three tacos only to find a couple pieces of twist tie wire in the last one. It really screwed up a filling or cavity in my molar, electric shooting pain at the table and all night up until now. I sat for 25min trying to get our waitress’ attention who was on the patio. Sat another ~30m or so after waiting for the manager to come by and offer to comp one taco. i gave them my info to reach out about paying for my dentist visit and have heard not a peep my phone message has been ignored. not at all happy with my visit. i just want my tooth fixed.

Wow. The food was... not too great. It's either a hit or miss when you eat at El Segundo. A friend and I had their nachos and it was fine while eating at the restaurant but after we left, we felt super sick. The nachos didn't look so appetizing but we still ate them. As for the atmosphere, it was interesting; the music 1/10 (they play some sort of inspirational songs you'd hear on facebook posts lol), the table we sat at 1/10 (super small. Considering their plates are huge, they should expand their table sizes). The staff and service was fine, although they looked super rushed. I understand that there is a staff shortage in the valley but damn. Since it was raining, they had their staff rush all the plates and drinks inside; resulting in many bottles and plates falling to the ground and breaking lots of glass (which kept happening even before the rain). If the customers were more aware of their surroundings, this most likely wouldn't have happened (someone bumped into the waiter holding the plates and cups). When El Segundo first opened up in Eagle, it was great but as of recent, I do not think I will recommend this restaurant to any new visitors.

What do you get when you merge a sports bar, night club, and restaurant together? El Segundo. The general feel is that of a night club, with industrial decor and exposed rafters. The bar is enormous and offers all the libations you expect in a Rocky Mountain establishment. The food is solid - with a bit of a Tex-Méx flare. Best of all - the service. The staff are exceptional and also on the lookout to help. A fun spot in the new section of Eagle that definitely deserves a visit.

Food is ok, but hella expensive. 8 dollars for a taco (street size) is a little much... vail prices in eagle The margaritas were good. No beer on tap. Lots of people dining when we were in. They must be high rollers ;)

Good tacos and large bar. Baja style crispy cod tacos are my favorite. A great place to watch a game. Family friendly atmosphere.

Great view on the patio. Highly recommend the happy hour. Food is tasty and the service was solid.

Horrible service. Orders take forever and they always get it wrong. Super rude staff. Food below average and overpriced.

I had a great experience with the food and the service! Grace was quick to assist my friends and I. Grace went out of her way to provide water for my dog. I highly recommend this place to eat with friends and family, also ask for grace!

Was hoping this New Mexican food restaurant was going to be a go to for us in Eagle. Unfortunately the food did not deliver. My wife's carnitas burrito was fairly large, but was served almost cold and tasted bland. My Ahi tuna taco , was also bland and the tortilla was cold. The Philly cheese steak taco was actually pretty good even with the lousy or store bought tortilla. No draft beer on tap, but they had a decent selection of canned beers. My wife's skinny margarita was on the mark! Not sure I'd try this restaurant again. Almost 80 bucks for the two of us for a poor meal is not a mistake I'd like to repeat. Bring back 7 Hermits please!

If you want the true El Segundo experience, then you come to Eagle! The service is spectacular, the drinks are great, but the food is even better. Eagle is a great spot to get away from all the people in vail. As well as vail has runny dips, cold tacos, and your first drinks come out as deserts. Definitely not worth the price point, but the crew in Eagle truly have it going on. The tacos are hot and filled with amazing flavor, the drinks are gorgeous just like your hot date, and the crew, well the crew speaks for themselves! Top notch here in eagle to say the least! I have, and will keep coming back to this El Segundo!! Oh and the movies are right next door too!!!!!

Service was terrible. Gave our waiter numerous chances. Ordered an appetizer, ran out of chips and requested more. We did not receive any. Waited over 40 minutes and still had no opportunity to put our entree order in. Had to flag down another staff member to finally get water, pay our bill, and leave.

Location is nice and it's a fun place to meet with friends. Drinks are pretty good. Food is good but sooo expensive.

It's SO bad! I've tried at least 6 times to like this location. The place is beautiful and the views are spectacular. But the food is SO bad! Chewy meats (not in a good way) and wet lettuce make a bowl of mush. The service was worse.... I waited 43 minutes for a take out dessert. The ice cream was melted and the donut was fried in something rancid - completely inedible. At 5:30 pm on a Saturday in June it's empty...

Good Food, Good Service! Really nice sitting outside on the patio! Chips and trio dips hit the spot!

Food was excellent . Had Korean wagyu, ahi, Spicy chicken. And barbacoa tacos. Service ok. $8 a taco.

The food is very tasty here. I had the 24 hour taco and the veg taco. Both were really good, but the veg was my favorite. Perfect portion sizes on the tacos. My daughter had a smothered burrito. This thing was huge! Good service. Fun ambiance.

Love El Segundo. Food is always flavorful and great! Friends from Jupiter, FL swear it's the best ceviche they've ever had. Recommend any of the tacos. As far as margaritas, if you like a little kick, go with the Friend of the Devil. Vibe is great. I got to know the part owner, Krista while she managed the Vail location. She is awesome and her team is always attentive and service is excellent. We always have dinner here when we are in town.
