It doesn't get more authentic than this! If you love your mother's or grandma's cooking, this spot is for you. Small with very few tables, the food makes up for the lack of space!! I've been coming here for over 20 years and have never been disappointed! This is family cooking at its best!

Basically your moms and pops Mexican restaurant, seems family owned... But to me the food is an A+ in my book. Authentic home style cooking. Depending on what you order( I normally order Burrito or Torta to go) you will get a side of rice and some tortilla chips at no extra cost. I always call ahead and pick it up to go. Have also had their breakfast and it's pretty good, better than what I've gotten around the area. Don't judge a book by its cover! The exterior isn't the greatest but the food is great.

Im usually FOR small, family run restaurants but this place was very dissapointed. When i first walked in, there were 2 cooks/servers and a couple of their kids doing homework on the tables. No one really greeted or said anything to me. So there was this long awkward moment where I stood there for a good while, waiting to see with whom do I place an order. Really poor hospitality. One of the workers was cleaning the grill and it wasnt until she was done that she asked what I want. This was an afternoon, where there was no other customers by the way. As for the food, the carne asada was soo under seasoned. I was eating a burito of just plain meat.. Nothing from this experienced has prompt me to return again.

Love love love this place. Small but ver cozy. Freshly made food, and Tita and Martita always treat you as family, very welcoming and go beyond to make you feel at home. Martita knows what I like once I walk in and nice that they remember you by name . Green chilaquiles are my favorite
