El Taco Guapo

Idk where to start probably the best tacos I've had in years I was nervous to go 1 hour before close and they didn't disappoint! The quality of food was as if they'd just opened for the day. I ordered 3 tacos and elote I changed my order and still ended up with 3 of the tastiest tacos ever! I'll forever be greatful for the kindness shown at this truck. The food is a perfect 10! Can't wait to order a big box of tacos next time around:))

Super tasty bites (2 carnitas tacos with onions and cilantro) served out of a taco truck. Every customer given a buzzer to go back to your car until your order is ready. Napkins and salsa included.

Smelled amazing and looks amazing! Was very good! Friendly nice people! Not a long wait for food!

The people running this truck have always been kind to me even though i cant have peppers or onions, and have been accomodating abt adjusting my orders. The food has always tasted great, and the tres leches cake is like a second sunrise for your day. ^_^ Even once the taco johns opens up a block away i'll always prefer taco guapo

All the food was very delicious. I 100% recommend the lady at the window and the very friendly staff. My family and I were delighted with everything we tried. We will definitely return from Chicago and stop by again to eat your delicious food.

I checked Google to make sure they’re open several times and they are never there! It’s starting to piss me off but It’s freaking SO GOOD!!! Go! Tell them easy on the tajin on the grilled pepper though. This is best taco truck I have ever tried!!!

Absolutely Amazing! If you're looking for delicious food with generous portions, this is the place to be! I always go for their burritos, and let me tell you--they're hands down the best in town! The service? Incredibly kind and welcoming--you'll feel right at home. And the prices? Unbeatable! Other spots in the area couldn't compete if they tried. Trust me, once you try it, you'll be coming back for more! Highly recommend!

Love their food and horchata is always at a good sweetness compared to most other places!

Not the best pictures because I started eating in the car BUT LOOK at the FLAUTAS in a CUP! How could you NOT WANT TO?! Hubby and I decided to try out a new taco truck El Taco Guapo off of Douglas Ave today after we saw a post about them a couple weeks back. I am just disappointed that I did not try them out sooner!! We tried the Flautas that come four in a cup with everything pictured and they are worth the $7 that they charged! My Hubby devoured it! We also ordered the Asada, Pastor and Chorizo Tacos. Their tacos are $2-2.50/each. Which are worth it to me! Their Asada tacos were the best to me! I didn't try the Chorizo because that's all my Hubby. Can't wait to go back and try more!! Their sauces were all delicious that accompanied the tacos as well! They also listened to me when I asked for extra grilled onions. They have Gorditas, Tamales, Burritos, Tortas etc!! I'm glad that they opened up and can't wait to try their other offerings!! Check them out you guys! Great staff working and they were fast and everything was delicious!!

YUM! Highly recommend. The steak street tacos were my fave and my toddler went crazy for the steak burrito. The flautas are so fun! Very crispy and sitting in a verde sauce, avocado, lettuce, and sour cream/crema on top. I'm not usually a verde person but theirs is soooo good. Man and woman working were very friendly and prices were extremely fair. Give these people your business!

Delicious authentic Mexican food! We tried this taco truck because friends recommended it and it was so worth it! My boyfriend got the asada burrito and I got the chicken flautas. Both were delicious! The staff was really nice too. Try this place if you get the chance!

Best tacos in Des Moines hands down, you have to try this place!! We have had the steak and carne tacos and they are crazy good. The jalapeño it comes with is perfectly seasoned.

Very nice people and very good food! I usually get the chorizo sausage quesadilla and my wife gets the flautas. Good handy location and they care about their customers. Highly recommended & Thank you!

El Taco Guapo is my new favorite taco truck in town. Their street tacos are absolutely delicious. (Although I did find the chicken a tad salty.) I need to go back and try those fancy flautas in a cup. The word on the street is that those are their top menu item! Handsome tacos FTW!

This is my favorite place to go now. Their food is top tier. Everyone that I have recommended to go there all agree that their food is the best. People are sweet, nice, and care about what they put out to the public. 10/10 would recommend to go there.

I definitely recommend this place !!So good , I can't wait to go back. I will say that the tortilla was a little hard but worth going back
