El Tenampa Mexican Restaurant

We had a great experience at El Tenampa Mexican Restaurant. The food tasted very good and fresh. We ordered two Asada tacos, the steak fajitas for two, and a pineapple juice—everything tasted amazing. The fajitas were a very large portion, though it would’ve been nice to have a few more warm tortillas included with the meal. They also offer complimentary corn tortilla chips with salsa, which was a nice touch. It was very busy the night we visited, so service was a bit slow, but not enough to ruin the experience or our time there. Overall, the food was excellent, and we would definitely come back to try other items on the menu.

Absolutely loved this place! The street-style tacos were packed with flavor and tasted fresh and authentic. My husband ordered the chimichanga, and it was perfectly crispy and super satisfying. Don’t get me started on their delicious Horchata. Portions were generous, and everything we tried was delicious. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend if you’re craving great Mexican food!

Food here is amazing! Most Mexican restaurants in Florida absolutely suck, but this place is the hidden gem people looking for real Mexican food are looking for. You will be delighted from the chips and salsa to pretty much anything else you order. I have been here twice and each time they don't let me down. From the service to the decor this place is awesome.

Overall the food was really good. It was slightly busy & we waited about an hour for our meals. The atmosphere was good we enjoyed everything 🙌.

Fantastic! The red mole chicken was amazing. Very generous portion size. The guava and tamarind margaritas were muy delicioso! The service was excellent. Cannot fault for food and service. Highly recommend!

Don’t be fooled by appearances, El Tenampa is really really good. Food was fantastic end to end. Great price, good heat on the chilli and fresh. Absolutely nailed it. Drinks were affordable and sofa refills quick. Server was lovely polite fast and kind. Couldn’t ask for more. The atmosphere was good with a cozy room and booths making seating comfy. But after all it’s a simple place and atmosphere isn’t key here. Don’t sleep on this one.

I ordered takeout and was very surprised. The tacos were very well served, the red salsa was delicious and spicy (the green one was bad), and the carne asada burrito was also very well made. It exceeded my expectations; I didn't think it would be good!

Me and my family ate here during a trip to Florida 2 years ago. I think about how good the food was and how great the service was. Hands down Amazing.
