The salsa takes smells & tastes like pure onions. We couldn't eat it. The queso was not so great either. I had tacos. They were alright. I've had better at Don Pueblos. My daughter had & her father both had the chicken quesadilla. He said that it was cool. Again, we've had better. My daughter took 1 bite & refused to eat anymore it. The refried beans they served with her meal was cold. The best thing about my whole dining experience was the watermelon margarita. It was made splendidly. I'll only go to this place for drinks. I'll get my food elsewhere.

Loved the lunch special! The seafood paella was so yummy! And the frozen margaritas... The bomb!!!

I have had a fabulous experience here with my family. We had amazing food served quickly and nicely. The man made guacamole right in front of us so it was fresh and a pleasure to watch. The drinks were great, staff very friendly, and a very nice atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place and would most definitely go here again if I was in Washington D.C. The food is also very good value for what they bring. So much food for a cheap price! Kids menu is also great! Another wonderfully fabulous thing is the adult menu, which is very large with a massive variety of things to choose from. The most I've ever had to choose from at a Mexican restaurant.

This was our last option for dinner, but because we were a large group with many differing dietary needs, we ultimately settled on this place. And was it worth it! The food was excellent - our party tried everything from the steaks to the fajitas - and everybody left happy. The staff is generous with the chips and salsa - to the point where we almost had no space for the main course. The staff were excellent and friendly, and the evening was splendid.

Good & generous food portions. Chips are extra thin and crispy (like communion wafers). Well made margaritas. Dessert could have been better. Great friendly and fast service makes up for any shortcomings. Overall fun evening and worth a try, especially if attending a show at Gala or Tivoli Theaters next door.

Delicious Mexican food, good drinks. Decorations are friendly without being tacky. Go for happy hour to save money, good deals on both drinks and appetizers. Regular dinner prices are a little high for the neighborhood, but the portions are huge and food is delicious. Most dishes served with really tasty rice and beans with ample guacamole, sour cream and salsa. Try one of the burritos, chicken, shredded beef and seafood are all very good. Always leave satisfied. Service is good and manager almost always comes by the table to check on things.

A very comfortable warm and cozy place, great for groups, lunch dates, coffee and other libations, if you choose. The food is Latino and deliciously inviting. The lunch specials are large and filling. The dinner menu has something for everyone even vegans. For the happy hour crowd, there is a happy hour special every day. It is one and a half blocks from the Columbia station metro. Great place to celebrate everything. In the summer through fall, one can be seated at table outside, sip, dine and people watch the day and evening away! Or go shopping across the street one block up. There is a parking garage there also.

The food taste ok, nothing to brag or recommend. The steak for the steak fajitas were hot. The rest of the food was cold. Service could have been better, the waiter kept forgetting simple things we asked for like napkins had to ask several times. Not sure if would return. Atmosphere was ok, restaurants pretty large but we went on a Sunday.
