Where To Enjoy A Small Mountain Of Meat In Miami - Miami - The Infatuation

"While not our favorite steakhouse in Miami, we can't deny that this place is a pretty great deal if you want beef in bulk. The steaks at this Calle Ocho churrascaria are good, but order them one temperature below what you normally would because they overcook just about everything. The menu looks like it was made by a graphic design student after chugging a gallon of cafecito, but it’s where you’ll find some undeniably good picada deals. Those deals range in price from $21 for a pound to $178 for a three-pound wagyu picada. You'll easily be able to find some combination of lamb chops, picanha, chicken, chorizo, and pork belly for under $100 here. And you'll leave painfully full." - mariana trabanino, ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo

El Toro Loco Churrascaria Little Havana Review - Little Havana - Miami - The Infatuation

"The steaks at this Calle Ocho steakhouse are good, but order them one temperature below what you normally would because they overcook just about everything here. The menu looks like it was made by a graphic design student after a gallon of cafecito, but it’s where you’ll find some undeniably good deals on meat: $29 ribeyes, $58 porterhouses, and even a $156 A5 Japanese wagyu strip. Two sides are included with every steak. Plus, servers are friendly and really deserve those five-star ratings management forces them to beg for." - Virginia Otazo

Google
Drove an hour to check this place out after a friend recommended it—and honestly, it was the best decision we made all day. The food was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had heard parking was a nightmare, but they actually offer valet. Unfortunately, we parked a block away based on some bad info, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. If you’re looking for great food, this spot is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!

Google
Dined here last night and was served mainly by the beautiful Ymandra. Of course so many amazing servers helped under the watchful eyes of the manager ensuring nothing is left to chance. From the second we walked in we were treated like royalty. The service was amazing, quick and pleasant, the ambiance wonderful, the bathrooms impeccable and the appetizer, main course and desert was out of this world with every bite melting in your mouth. And not to mention the food was very affordable and perfect portions. I give El Toro Loco 7 out of 5.

That evening, I walked into El Toro Loco Steakhouse in Little Havana alone, carrying the quiet weight of a long day—another unfamiliar street, another language I couldn’t understand, another night by myself. I wasn’t expecting anything beyond food to fill my stomach. But what I found was something far more healing. The staff greeted me not with routine politeness, but with genuine warmth—the kind that speaks to the heart without words. One kind soul helped me choose the lamb. It arrived sizzling, tender, and beautifully seasoned. I took one bite, and for a moment, the world softened. I didn’t feel like a foreigner anymore. I felt human. Seen. Cared for. The laughter around me no longer felt distant—it felt like something I could belong to. That lamb didn’t just feed me. It comforted me. And the kindness of the staff wrapped around me like a hug I didn’t know I needed. Thank you, El Toro Loco. You gave me more than dinner. You gave me a memory I’ll carry in my heart.

Delicious food, amazing service and huge servings. Everyone there presented with a smile. Indy was great and attentive and the manager, Dayan connected with us as we walked in- had my attention and heart at the entrance. If we are ever in Miami, we are definitely coming back here.

Google
I stopped by El Toro Loco Churrascaria today for lunch, and I have to say—it’s one of the best Brazilian steakhouses I’ve tried so far! The place might have “little” in its name, but everything else is big: the flavors, the service, and the experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a perfect view of the lively Little Havana streets that adds to the charm. The service was top-notch, and every cut of meat was cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and served just right. And the best part? The prices are surprisingly affordable for the quality you get. If you’re looking for a great meal without breaking the bank, this spot is a hidden gem. Highly recommend it!

Google
My wife and I had an amazing experience at El Toro Loco Steakhouse in Little Havana! From the moment we walked in, we loved the vibe — it has that perfect mix of energy and authenticity that makes you feel right at home. The customer service was absolutely top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. We ordered one pound of churrasco with some extra sides, and honestly, it was more than enough for both of us. If you’re not a big eater, one plate can definitely satisfy two people. The meat was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor — and the sides really brought it all together. Highly recommend checking this spot out if you’re in the area. We’ll definitely be back!

The service is exceptional. Everyone was super attentive. Our particular server for this Saturday late lunch was Imandra and she was truly on top of things. The food size and quality was second to mine. The filet mignon was a hit out of the ball park. The meat was tender , juicy and the taste was sheer gourmet.

Google
I had an amazing experience at El toro Loco! With Liz a a server From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and attentive. The atmosphere was cozy yet elegant—perfect for a date night or a nice dinner with friends. I ordered the picada deluxe, and it was cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The seasoning was just right and complemented the natural taste of the meat without overpowering it. The sides were also excellent—especially the baked potato and avocado salad. Don’t skip dessert the Torreja, the best in this place, was the perfect ending to an already fantastic meal.

Yelp
This place has it all - the vibe, something for everyone (even non-meat eaters) and an incredible staff all around. We had a table of six and ordered the Picada Deluxe, yuca balls and chips and guac, which was the perfect amount of food for our group. Everything tasted amazing. I think we had interactions with probably 8 different staff members and all were so friendly and happy. You can also buy a jar of their delicious homemade bbq sauce-which I highly recommend at least trying. Calling it bbq sauce is a bit of a disservice as I'm not usually a fan. Don't pass it up!

Yelp
Came to enjoy the Miami winter with some good food and family! My husband and I have been to another one of their locations on 8th street, one of their smaller establishments, and so we decided to venture out to this larger location. Without a reservation, we did have to wait a bit for a table, but nothing too long (about 10 minutes). The inside seating was completely full, so we opted for the patio seating. Despite the colder weather, the patio was kept warm with several patio heaters. If you can get one singular menu item and nothing else, you MUST get the Pork Belly appetizer. It is what dreams are made of! We both enjoyed the appetizer with a Cuba Libre. For our entrees, we both picked the Churrasco. My husband had it with the Garlic Rice and Brazilian Black Beans (both delicious and well seasoned/flavored). I had mine with the Sweet Kale Salad and the Mac n Cheese. The salad was light and tasty, balancing well with the creamy richness of the Mac n cheese. Parking is limited to street parking and a small garage behind the establishment that is shared with other retailers in the area. Overall had a great experience :)

Yelp
Every time I come here, the taste and quality of the food have been consistently great, and the servers are always very nice and attentive. The overall atmosphere feels very family-centric, with live music for those seated outside, and music playing on big televisions for those inside. Personally, I enjoy sitting outside because it isn't as noisy. Appetizer Recommendations Grilled Octopus (which comes with a balsamic sauce on the side), Cheesy Yuca Bites, and Wagyu Tostones. For the main entrée, I recommend trying the specials. You can choose a meat of your choice--1 lb or 1/2 lb--with two sides. On this visit, I had the 1 lb Picanha with a side of mashed potatoes and maduros. I've also tried the Churrasco and the chicken, all of which have been amazing! They also provide a chimichurri sauce on the side, which adds great flavor.

Yelp
It's my first time eating here and absolutely loved it. Wow! You can tell the quality of the meat is top tier. The place is clean, well decorated with a feel good ambiance. To eat we ordered manchego croquetas with guava sauce (yummy), tuna tataki (okay), pork belly (yums), and finally the picanhna with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Everything was great especially the picahna, croquetas, pork belly. To end our food intake my friend had cafe con leche and I had capuccino. My friend is a fan of this place and she comes often. Now I've become a fan and will continue to come. Oh yeah and the service from the waitress was nice as well.

Yelp
Over here Pichon will always make sure you enter the place safely, and all staff will deliver a party on a plate. Alongside devious grilled meats and music that will keep you dancing all night long.

Yelp
The tomahawk steak was great and the grilled pineapple was amazing. The T-bone steak was hard to chew towards the middle where it wasn't cooked enough. The food came within a reasonable time considering how busy it was.

Yelp
This place was amazing. High energy amazing options and great food. The staff was kind and friendly and my wife and I Truely enjoyed the night. I would recommend spending a little more for the premium cuts as there was a huge jump in quality and taste. We had the 1 pound Shara le platter with two sides and that was plenty for me and my wife. The drinks were tasty but a bit pricey. Over all nice time. Ambiance was a bit loud and crowded but I'm sure it was due to the Brazilian atmosphere. And also it seemed as though it was hard to check out at the end. Once the waitress knew we were done eating. They left us their for 15mins without the check.

Yelp
Consistently excellent food and service. I have been back many times and this time we tried sandwiches and burgers - excellent.

Yelp
Great ambiance. The dry aged ribeye was amazing! This place only serves USDA Prime, which is great. The Filet Mignon was good as well. Picanha was OK, but sirloin isn't one of my favorites anyways.

Yelp
I recently visited the new El Toro Loco Churrascaria in Little Havana with my friends to celebrate a birthday. We're all meat lovers, and this place did not disappoint! The new menu is impressive, with all types of steaks. The sangria was delicious, and the side dishes were on point. The ambiance is super fun with live music, making it perfect for a fun and fancy night out with friendly and fast staff. I highly recommend it if you visit Calle Ocho or the area!

Yelp

Yelp
Great food, good portions and excellent service! We went to celebrate a bday. It was a group of seven. We had left over meat. And no matter how many sauces we asked the waitress for - she always served us w a smile. Not to mention they work as a team and our table was free of used dishes and cups at all times. I applaud the team of servers and waitress for a five star service. Thank you. We ordered: Cheese croquetas - 5 Stars Ham croquetas - 5 Stars Picana 4lb meat platter - 5 Stars Side sampler 8 - all delicious - 5 Stars Churros - giant - 5 Stars Cake - 5 stars Sangria - delicious!! Yelp
So I remember trying Toro Loco way back when, when they only had one lonely food truck on US1. Even back then, it was delicious. So when I saw that they opened one less than 2 min from my house, I knew I had to try them. I've been driving by for months and every time I see the restaurant, I say I have to try it. Guess what, I tried it!!! I have to say that it was amazing!! The food was great and the service was even better. Ymandra took amazing care of us, and the additional support staff (Kevin and Christopher) were also awesome. They definitely made us feel like part of the family. Now, for what you've probably been waiting for, and if you've read this far, definitely deserve. Some of the recommendations based on what we ate: - Serrano Croquetas: good, but I've had some really amazing one. I want to try the Manchego ones as they much better amazing. - Bone Marrow: excellent, very, very tasty. Definitely recommend. - Picada: delicious, and everything was perfectly cooked. - Truffle Mac and cheese: Very good, nice truffle flavor, not overpowering. - Garlic Rice: Amazing, literally tasted like my grandmother's. Tastes soo good. - Maduros: Cooked perfectly and delicious - Avocado Salad: A nice refreshing side for the heavy meal.

Yelp
I recently dined at El Toro Loco Mkami and had a mixed but overall positive experience. - First and foremost, the service was exceptional. The staff was not only quick but also incredibly attentive and friendly throughout our meal. - The ambiance was pleasant, although a tad too loud and crowded for my personal preference. Nevertheless, it had a nice vibe overall. - In terms of food, we ordered a variety of dishes, including croquetas, tamales, and Yucca bites. We also opted for one of their sharing trays. While the meat on the tray wasn't the absolute best I've had, it was certainly decent. - For dessert, we tried the torreja, which was a highlight of the meal. It was incredibly delicious and a delightful way to end our dining experience. - On the downside, the espresso was a bit on the watery side for my Cuban taste, but that's a matter of personal preference. In summary, El Toro Loco Mkami is a good restaurant with outstanding service. If you don't mind a lively and crowded atmosphere, it's definitely worth a visit, especially for the Torreja dessert!

Yelp
Unfortunately, this was not the best visit for us. But I'm not giving a horrible review and talk only negatively as the only thing that saved the night was the manager who tried extremely hard to make things right. He was AMAZING! The owners chose to do a commercial the same time multiple people were dining. They literally stood in the kitchen and stopped the cooks from being able to do their job. It was a long night with long waits and overall food was not desired. The wrong dishes were served multiple times. The steaks served wrong basically raw after waiting almost an hour and a half. Our appetizers were decent. But we were really hoping for an incredible steak dinner. That's what they are known for. One of the meals (Piccata was good). I'm still giving 4 stars because the manager did everything in his power to make the night in which we were celebrating a Birthday better. Although it was not the best meal, his service was superior. He was professional, kind, carrying, empathetic, and accommodating. He was overly sorry and continued to apologize over and over again for the experience. He did invite us back as well. This shows how much he cared. What an incredible leader. He even brought a Birthday dessert that was amazing! The location is cozy in the corner of a popular 8th street corner. The smell from the grill is amazing as you walk the streets. Looking forward to a much better experience next time.

Yelp
Food was COLD had to return No dressing on Salad No smoking are No water served had to ask 4 times had to call manager and on top of bad food and service was charge a service fee of almost $30 dollar for my husband and I when asked about it I was told it's "part of their policy " Horrible for the Price$200 for a share dinner I appetizer and 2 drinks.. DONOT RECOMMEND

Yelp
From walking up to restaurant was greeted directed and seated with in a minute and service food and drinks were way beyond its reviews which were excellent and exceeded my expectations ,and the desserts are sinful!! I will definitely be back !

Yelp
This was the best restaurant experience I had while visiting miami over the weekend. The food was excellent and so was the service. As soon as my work colleague and I arrived we were treated as we had been long time friends of theirs. We couldn't decide what to order so we had the Wagyu Skirt Steak,Lobster,Shishito Peppers,Seared Tuna and dessert. Everything we had was amazing and full of flavor. I can't wait to go back to Miami and visit this location again. Thank you for your wonderful food and hospitality.

Yelp
My firs visit to this spot with my friend was an absolute delight! I was blown away by the phenomenal experience it offered. The food went above and beyond my expectations, delivering flavors that truly impressed me. The service was incredibly genuine, and the people there had such warmth; it felt reminiscent of the southern hospitality I enjoy back in Texas. The location itself was remarkably inviting, having a super clean and pleasant ambiance. Although we didn't sit down for a meal, just glimpsing the surroundings as we picked up our food left a great impression. Let's talk about the portions - they were gigantic! Fit for royalty. Our choice of the sandwich and the Wagyu Burger was spot-on. The burger, in particular, was delightful, cooked to absolute perfection. Everything from the sauce to the bun and the accompanying condiments blended together perfectly, elevating the burger's flavors to an entirely new level. The experience was simply amazing!

Yelp
First timer and we really enjoyed this place. Place is very nice and had a great atmosphere , very Miami . The service was excellent exceptional, not only from our server ...... , but for the whole team that faking care of each detail and bake you feel .... The menu is extensive , have a wire variety of meat, sides and combinations and reasonable priced. Drinks menu include a good variety of classic cocktails and they were very well done . Rate for me saying that ! I just think that maybe some of them were overpriced. For just mention an example, a mojito , that only have 4 simple ingredients, and have a cost of approximately less then $4.00 should cost in Calle 8 $16. But again, drinks were good. In the other side , we order a Picada, medium well with different cut of meet, and it came out well done. Do not get me wrong, it was good, but in a steakhouse the cocción of the meet is a very important details . And another thing, they include the tips as a service charge, without specifying what percent it was added, an like one of the items you order (which is not right because then it take in consideration for the sales tax) . I wanted to leave additional tip, because service was excellent but the whole situation it was very confusing, and never did . Those to matter took the fifth start on my review, but All and all, I really love this place, I totally recommended it and it is my favorite destination when I want to eat some steaks Latin style.

Yelp
Food is always delicious, cheeseburger meat is nice and tender. Churrasco very tasty and the beans are delicious with pork inside.

Yelp
Fan Flipping TASTIC!!! All areas of Food ,service and , atmosphere, ambience. Food was delicious, the service was impeccable . However the servers have broken English very hard to understand that was the only downside they had to repeat many times what we asked. HIGHLY RECOMMEND,HANDS DOWN!!
google avatar

Yelp
The staff are on point and have many employees. They pay attention to detail, our waitress is kind and gives suggestions. The food is of top quality. The atmosphere is very inviting and not intimidating at all. They open the door for you and the place smells delicious!!

Yelp
Excellent restaurant to enjoy a wide variety of beef and other meat. The two of us ordered the picada deluxe 4 pounds and it was way more than enough for us. The picada came with picanha, churrasco, chicken, chorizo, pork belly and lamb chops. My favorite of the two were the lamb and pork belly. Pork belly has an Asian glaze that was amazing. I also ordered and Old Fashioned and it was delicious. The overall space of the restaurant was a little bit small but they had live music outside and nice decor. I would 100% come back to Toro Loco in the future
google avatar

Marv P.

Yelp
Came to El Toto Loco with friends and it was a great experience. We sat outside and the ambiance was fantastic, warm but still breezy and they have fans going so it brings down the humidity. They had live music playing all the classic Latin ballads. It was a fantastic vibe. The service was phenomenal, everyone was kind, attentive and welcoming. They knew the menu inside out, and gave us great recommendations. Now the FOOD! But first, drinks lol. We had a frozen margarita, although it's not on the menu, we asked and they made it happen. Our friends ordered an old fashion and a lychee martini. The drinks were delicious, refreshing and not too strong. We skipped the appetizers and went straight to the main. We ordered the picahna wagu parilla. It was spectacular, it was tender, juicy and just delicious as sides we had the maduros and yuca fries. Our meal was phenomenal and we cannot wait to return. If you're ever in the area and crave a nice meal, make your way to El Toro Loco.

Alejandro A.

Yelp
We didn't enter because there were no tvs to watch a game, looking forward to go back when NFL is over and update this rate.

Yelp
Apps and drinks are good. Meat lacks taste, ours was mostly undercooked and tasted a bit like meat tenderizer. Desert is a must have- please have "Torreja" omg killer delicious. Outdoor area is nice and the singing duet is very good and at times very loud then again its 8st and it attracts tourists Service is attentive. Will return for apps and drinks and THE TORREJA ( the best thing on the menu and the best I have ever had), hahaha better than their Wagyu (IMO).
google avatar

Yelp
I always order from here on Uber eats, so I finally decided to check it out in person. The restaurant is on a corner and parking is very limited. The music is way too loud for my taste, we had to shout at each other just to be able to hear. Inside is very nicely decorated, there are lots of TVs, and it seems very modern. The tables are too close to each other, I get that they're trying to maximize space but it's claustrophobic. And it was so stuffy inside! Everyone in my party was sweating! I don't know if their AC was broken or if that's their normal temperature setting. The food is really good, very tasty. However, we ordered our meat medium and it came back rare... so that was annoying. Between the music blasting, the cramped table, and the mustiness...I won't be going back.
google avatar

Yelp
Great food, amazing service and attentive staff. Cool vibe and really good value. Even the drinks are really good and fun with the dry ice treatment. No complaints. I will be back!!!

Yelp
google avatar

Yelp
We went twice in a span of a couple of months because we love the food so much. The service is always great and food super delicious. If you have little kids this might not be the place as it's very loud and there's a lot going on. My toddler got overwhelmed and we had to go outside. But it's definitely a nice restaurant to go for your birthday and enjoy some great food.

Yelp
Lily and rosy are amazing! I loved the hospitality, thank you so much for the wonderful experience.

Yelp
Last night, Friday, September 27th, Our party of 15 was given VIP service. The food was amazing and our server "Elias" was attentive. Appetizers: yuca sticks, cheesy yuca bites, and waygu tostones. Dinner: Lamb chops, THE BEST BLACK BEANS AND GARLIC RICE we've ever tasted, churrasco, and more. Such a welcoming environment! Thank you all 4 the great service!

Yelp
Came here for a quick dinner and they did not disappoint! Our server was incredible! He gave us great recommendations, took care of us and was so nice. The ambiance was great, they had live music outside, everyone inside seemed to be having a great time too. Food was delicious, everything we ordered we loved and cleared out our plates. We had the avocado salad, the fried yuca (a must!), steak, chicken, tostones, asparagus and rice. Have gone back since and def recommend to anyone!

Yelp
I would give 6 stars if I could. We came in on a Saturday afternoon with no reservation and they sat us right away. I don't understand why it has 4.4 stars and not 5. We came on my birthday weekend and ordered a few things. There was truly nothing bad. WOW. The staff was amazing. Christopher was our server and he was great with the recommendations. We ordered: a pitcher sangria (really strong/well made), a cuba libre, Prime ribeye, Picanha, wagyu tostones, Porkbelly, manchego croquettes and top it off with the most amazing dessert we've had in a while: Torreja. The meat was perfectly cooked, I ordered the picanha and my husband ordered the ribeye. We end up switching up because his was more tender than mine. The side dishes were truffle French fries, avocado salad, yuca sticks and feiojada. This was a great surprise. The black beans were alright, I like the Cuban black bean better. The appetizer were bomb. You can skip the manchego croquettes. I personally didn't loved them, but the guava sauce it came with made them better. In general, the food was great quality, they had Music outside and on the inside the vibe was good. One observation: the menu is really difficult to read. They made it fancy, but hard, so take your glasses! A little bit on the pricey side, but worth it for an special occasion. Also, a photographer comes to your table, takes some pictures and they sell it for $20 usd and it comes in a frame. 11/10 recommended.

Yelp
Amazing food and service! The drinks are also gorgeous and delicious, the ambiance is very lively with live music outside. Very pleased with our experience there, our Server Georgette was very sweet and helpful.

Yelp
Came to Toro Loco after eating at their original location a while ago. Their newer location is closer to work so I had high hopes and they did not let me down. From the service, to the drinks, to the food everything was great! To start, we had the yuca bites and the serano croquettes. Both were delicious. The sauces were perfection. I changed the croquettes sauce to the guava and loved the sweet and salty mix. To drink we ordered a pitcher of white sangria that was enough for 3 glasses. You save the cost of 2 glasses by ordering the pitcher. We'll worth it. The sangria was a bit sweet but still good. For the main meal, we ordered the picanha sandwich fully loaded with bacon and French fries. The sandwich was delicious but it did have a few pieces of fat that weren't edible for me. None the less it was very tasty. All in all it was still a great experience just like the first time we dined in the original location and can't wait to be back soon!

Yelp
Last week, we went to El Toro Loco on Monday for lunch. We arrived at about 11:45 AM so that we could leave early, as we needed to drop someone at the airport for a flight. I think there was perhaps only one or two tables occupied. All three of us ordered the 1LB ribeye. My wife's was barely warm when it got to the table, the others were "ok". The steaks were served on a stone slate and her slate was pretty cold. The other two were just warm. I feel the stone slates should have been very hot to keep the steaks hot. This was the only time I used that particular credit card that week. Coincidentally (?), I got several fraudulent charges on Thursday, one for $350 from Ticketmaster. Was my number stolen or at least mishandled by the staff at El Toro Loco? I don't know.

Yelp
This place is amazing!! The meats are so good is not even funny!! Great decoration, staff and service. I had the wagyu outside skirt and it melts in your mouth. The tostones are the best I've had in a restaurant. Everything I've tasted so far has been a +++.

Yelp
I came across this restaurant by mistake, but now it's one of my go-to spots when I'm in the Miami area. The food and service are phenomenal, and the ambiance is low-key. I don't know much later at night as I usually go in the afternoon. Give them a try; you won't regret it!
