Nice cozy place with some authentic Mexican food and boom tamale's, the chicharrón was amazing and the Jamaica water was amazing I loved it . Tacos are very fulfilling.

Came here with my husband for lunch. It was absolutely delicious. The people helping us were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. We've never been here before and they really took their time to make sure we were satisfied and getting something we'd enjoy. We will definitely be back and would HIGHLY recommend.

Food is delicious. First time I tried this place and didn't know the tacos are extra large! Carnitas are tender. I also ordered a gordita de chicharon en salsa for my dad and he devoured it. Also ordered caldo de pollo to go. Everything was good. Will frequent this place. Tasty homemade style. Yum!!! Update: Menudo everyday and delicious!

I came here after driving around looking for something good to eat and I'm glad I found this place. Immediately the owner made me feel like family, started bringing out samples and literally gave me a sample of everything without even asking. Definitely recommend!

Flying under the radar…if you want food that is traditional and homie like this is your place, the cooks come out and check see how you liked your food. I had their “costillas en salsa verde” it reminded me of my grandmothers home cooking.

Emily was very funny and kind. The food is like being at your grandparents house. Very homemade and flavorful! I was recommended by Jesus from Cascoman lawnmower repair in Whittier I totally recommend this place for good authentic quality food! I will definitely come back!

Amazing barbacoa! The barbacoa here is tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Easily one of the best I've had in a long time. I'll definitely be coming back. Service is good and staff is kind and helpful.

El Toro Loco Never Misses! I had the entumatadas, con tortillas hechas a mano and wow they were amazing! The flavor of the tomato sauce was so rich and authentic, and the carne Asada inside was tender and perfectly seasoned. The handmade tortillas were next level soft, fresh,. Topped with crisp lettuce, cheese, and served with a cold Dr Pepper, it hit the spot! The food not only tasted homemade, it looked it too (see the photo ). Friendly service and cozy atmosphere made it even better. Definitely a must visit if you're craving real Mexican food done right!

Carnitas were delicious and our server was very nice and always taking care of us. Unfortunately we didn't take pictures.

Not only is the food delicious and authentic, the hospitality was bar none. Gentlemen behind the counter brought us a tall cup of their own consommé to wash down our bites and I must eat all my tacos this way now. Portions as huge as the flavors! EXCEPTIONAL.

Glad I found this place again. They moved locations. They are now located on Carmonita and telegraph next to Wingstop. This place has excellent food. Excellent salsa. Excellent. Must try the Costas and the Menudo and the Carnitas are phenomenal fresh meat tortillas.

Food was great and the staff were very nice,it was pretty clean and they had very good portions, the place had a very lively atmosphere.

The menu is a little confusing. They don't serve "tacos " like you'd expect they are big corn tortillas. So you basically get two big tacos with double tortillas where you can basically make 4 tacos yourself . Ordered the carne asada tacos. It is not carne asada. Who knows what type of meat it is. It was really salty too. The quesadilla de birria was bland no taste. The consomé was decent, the tacos de carnitas were also pretty damn salty. My wife ordered the tacos de chicharrón en salsa roja those were pretty good. The birria de chivo was alight. Don't get the agua de fresa it's not that good. Would not recommend. Surprisingly the small restaurant was full. . The service was good. can't blame the server for subpar food.

I had a very good and pleasant experience at El Toro Loco. Service was quick and prompt food was very rico to the last bite of my burrito and had to enjoy a cold Pacifico to wash it down. If u are in the area a must u stop by and enjoy the homestyle service with a smile

My daughter was craving menudo, and this was some of the worse menudo I have ever had. The carnitas were dry. How they have 4.6 stars is beyond me.

The Carnitas are amazing & with Hand made tortillas ... we get this atleast once a month here at work for our workers.

This little place just open and they are still setting things up and will have a grand opening soon but it is open for you guys to enjoy their food. They have homemade tortillas! My two favorite things to have is the carnitas and their menudo ! Their tacos are not a regular size tacos. Tacos are a nice size ! Give them a try !

The carnitas are excellent here. If you like a lighter less fatty menudo, this is also the spot. Those are the highlights from this place. I would order out instead of dining here.

The food is so good the carnitas and the menudo, the service is good, the have many option. And the special plates are good. The ambiance is good they have the games or music.

The tacos were enormous, tasty and well priced. I ordered carnitas and chicharrón con salsa. My husband ordered the burrito with barbacoa and it was huge as well. He finished the whole thing. I can't wait to come back! Our waitress was very sweet as well.

This restaurant recently opened so I went to check it out. As soon as you walk in there's a cute wall set up for you to take pics with a light that read "feed me tacos and call me pretty." The service was quick and very welcoming. It's def a family owned business and the food is authentic, especially the homemade corn tortillas. Today I had rice, beans, and the costillas with a modelo on the side. Oh yes and they also sell beer as well! My sister in law order tacos and omg the tacos are a huge portion. My niece got a cheese quesadilla and my daughter ordered a burrito which was also huge. My son had rice and some asada, needless to say I will be back. The price was also very reasonable.

Great service , very welcoming . My husband had the bowl of birria de chivo, he's very picky and loved it I had a plate of chicharrones de chile verdad also very good with rice and beans. Hand made tortillas . We will be back

The food is good, but it is very dirty inside and it was unusually hot. I don't think they have AC. The floors are gross, and the worst of all, FLIES on the food. I had to notice this after eating!.

I went today to check if it was open for superbowl and they were. It was a little busy today but the service was still friendly and the food came out fast. The ambience is very mellow and family oriented. The shrimp is a special order that was on the menu due to the super bowl so if you want to try it call and ask for special order. Today I ordered camarones en salsa chipotle and their special "camarón loco con elote" and it was bomb. i would highly recommend to try it out.

I was in the mood for some carnitas. Figured I would try this place. Ordered a burrito which it was just ok. Carnitas were under cooked. About the place or restaurant dirty, messy. When I walked in I thought I was walking into a Hispanic carniceria market. Now the lady's serving very respectful and sweet. I wish I could give them a 5 stars but place needs a lot of attention on cleanliness and also keeping the pots where they keep there warm foods clean.
