The place is very nice and located in a great area within the Design District. The décor matches the concept well and the atmosphere is pleasant. What I honestly do not understand is how Michelin rates or selects some of the restaurants on their list. In this case, there are no physical menus, everything is through a QR code, which I believe makes the experience less enjoyable for the customer. The service was not good. When we arrived, no one greeted us; we just sat down. At first, we thought we had to order at the counter and then sit, but that was not the case. The staff was not rude, but there was no real sense of service either. The food is good, but there is no wow factor that makes you think this restaurant deserves to be on the Michelin list. When it came time to pay, the payment screen offered tip options of 10, 15, or 18 percent. I selected 18, but then asked if the tip was already included, and the server said yes. They actually include a 20 percent service charge without mentioning it, yet still show you those tip options as if it were not included. This leaves a bad impression not because of the money, but because of the lack of transparency and consideration for the customer

We came here with two kids and our dog, and everything was just perfect! The service was extremely fast and attentive — they even brought water for our dog right away, which we truly appreciated. The food was absolutely delicious. We travel to Turkey every summer, so we definitely know what authentic Turkish cuisine should taste like, and El Turco did not disappoint at all. Everything was fresh, beautifully served, and full of flavor. At the end, they even treated our girls with a complimentary dessert, which was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. The kids were happy — and when kids are happy, parents are happy too 😊 We will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended!

Absolutely outstanding. The sujuk sausages and omelette were a delicious combo. The service was polite and quick. The atmosphere at the design district is great. Just a fantastic place to have a nice, lazy brunch.

I had a bite here (just tabouleh and manti) on a quiet evening. The location and atmosphere are pleasant. Quiet enough that it could be a decent place to eat and hear the people you're with. A nice, fairly convenient place tucked away in the Miami Design District. It's up on the third(ish) floor, tucked away, adjacent to the posh bathrooms.

Google
genuinely would give this place 6 stars if i could. the food is great. the waiter caught how much sugar i put in my tea so when he came back to refill he put in the exact amount i liked and stirred it up without me asking. the vibe is clean and classy but still inviting. And.. it’s not even expensive as far as design district goes.

Excellent experience! The food was delicious, and the place is beautiful. We were served by Burak and one of his colleagues, and both provided a great service. Without a doubt, I would come back again!

Recommended by the MICHELIN Guide as Bib Gourmand: good quality, good value cooking. I am however, struggling to see why. The Turkish tea was fine. The Simit Avocado was pretty ordinary. A Turkish sesame bagel topped with freshly mashed hass avocado and an organic fried egg. I have lived in Istanbul and this was not on par with a simit that you could eat there. I definitely do not think it is worthy of a Michelin accolade. Something you could make at home. The avocado was half black. The simit tasted like it was overbaked and had a bitter taste. Apart from the one waitress, the other staff were rude and unfriendly. There are two branches I believe in Miami. This branch is located in Miami Design District.

Such a lovely spot! The staff were incredibly nice and so hospitable; everyone made us feel so welcome. It was the coziest place to be while it rained; they even kept offering us free tea until the rain stopped. The baklava was amazing and the cheese pide was just as good. 10/10 recommend if you’re ever in the Miami Design District!
