This was a great little find, the staff were super friendly and the food matched the service. Prices were fantastic considering the quality and we will definitely come back next time we are in the area. Macho sauce is GOOD but has some heat.

I ordered the Green-Cheese enchiladas and let me tell you , such poor food I mean look at them. There’s hardly any sauce, the tortillas are dry, the rice is dry, crunchy and has no seasoning. The beans are just the same. Honestly la Bonita food is better than this.

Probably the best pozole i’ve ever had! Especially with the macho salsa! Miriam was extremely kind, helpful, and very welcoming. Overall, a great experience and I would highly recommend!

The location has sketchy people surrounding it. So I held on tight to my purse. I need my coins, okay yall. Anyway, the cashier was so friendly. He suggested the favorites on the menu. The food was good. Im giving a great rating for excellent customer service provided.

The establishment is kinda small but the staff is very friendly and they greet you as soon as you arrive. The food is great. My husband has beef tacos and I had a menudo. OMG !!! It was delicious and very filling….my husband had to help me finish it. I had a craving for tripita tacos, so I ordered 2 and they too were so yummy. What can I say? Today was my first time trying this little Mexican restaurant. The food was fantastic! Semi, my server was great with a smile! She helped order a special À la cart item for me. My tacos we were juicy and my chile relleno came out piping hot. My lunch was perfect 🤩

Food was amazing, second best pozole I've ever had! No need to add spices or chili, flavor was perfect as served! The chilaquiles were amazing as well, perfect red salsa. The restaurant is very homey and welcoming, the waitresses were super nice! 10/10 recommend

Came here a few times because I couldn't decide if i liked it or not. I got carne asada and carnitas tacos. And a carne asada burrito. The carnitas was ok i was expecting more flavor. Same with the asada it was plain. The burrito was more beans and rice than anything but decent . I really did like the salsa though. They came in these cute packages not like most places that come in a small cup. Service was great the people running the place was nice.

A treasure in an unassuming plaza. Inside is a warm and inviting place with a great and knowledgeable staff. The menu has so many great options that you really can't go wrong with anything. The quesadilla is a great choice; the pastor very flavorful and well made. I appreciate how loaded the carne asada fries as well. The salsas come in small containers definitely need more than a couple per dish (they charge extra), which I'm not a fan of.

I would say this place is average and rather forgettable. I was hoping it was going to be a really authentic hidden gem experience, but for me they missed the mark on flavor and attention to detail. The queso Birria tacos were not crispy at all and were falling apart on contact. The consume was just ok with a slight flavor of cloves which I don't love. I've been to other places where the consume is so good you can't stop drinking it. But this wasn't doing it for me. The menudo was also forgettable, no "mmm's" coming from us at our table and more than half taken home. Was too expensive to not take it. Refried beans were not smooth, and didn't have great flavor either. The rice was really good, fluffy and went well with everything. Cheese enchiladas were good, those are hard to mess up. But the sauce was really red, like Korean food red which looks artificial. I prefer a more natural, muted, home style look for my enchilada sauce. Prices were relatively expensive I thought and the strip mall wasn't the most inviting. Needless to say, this won't be a place we'll be retuning to with all the great options around the valley. 3 stars isn't bad but I'm looking for exceptional.

This is a really great place to visit! The tacos are some of my go tos. We've tried a variety of the menu from tacos, tortas, flautas, quesadillas, etc. Everything is so good! They are always so kind.

Family owned restaurant with 4 locations in the valley. Great service and great food. They have the best quesabirria tacos. The family and I enjoyed. Glad we came back after years of not eating there. Also our first time trying pozole and we loved it. Street tacos are a must. Don't skip on the horchata. Didn't know they have chilaquiles which is my favorite breakfast item. Now I can get anytime!

Both chilaquiles were amazing and the perfect kick to them. We found this place while looking for any open restaurant on Thanksgiving morning and we are so glad we did. The service was fast and friendly. The seating and decor was my favorite!

I give this place a fire review cause it was incredibly delicious. It was bitter sweet finishing that burrito de tripas. I haven't had a burrito that good EVER! The seasonings in addition to the texture made this a top tier burrito. I ordered it medium crispy. When I tell you this was fire, it was next level and I am a Mexican food connoisseur. I can't wait to get another one lol I strongly recommend this place to everyone. If you haven't tried it, you're missing out.

Amazing, usually go to Aloha Mamacita for a birria fix but usually theirs is too spicy for me because i don't eat anything spicy. However found this place on yelp and by far the best i've ever had. My new go to, my new favorite in town hands down. Compliments to workers and chef. Birria ramen is my new favorite thing, the birria tacos are heavenly as well and quesadillas can't go wrong. Service is TOP Tier girl at front desk is fast, efficient and very friendly to all. Super sweet. Inside is adorable i love it. But nothing compares to the food Thank you!

I see why this place has high reviews. The quesa birria is one of the best I have tried in Vegas. It is full of flavor and perfectly tender. They got the cook on the shell just right not too hard or too soft. The carne asada plate was good and had a nice flavor. The steak was a little over cooked they should have taken it off about 2 mins sooner. The rice and beans were good but the beans could have used a little salt We will definitely be back.

Best Pozole in the whole entire valley!!! Such a hidden gem! The guy who works the counter is so friendly! It's small inside with few tables and is always busy. The food is absolutely delicious. I can't wait to try more things on the menu

Food was really good. We had this for lunch while on a business trip to Vegas. I was pleasantly surprised. Definitely recommend it.

Friend suggested to try out El Zarape. We visited on a Saturday night around 7:30pm and it was empty. Ordered the carnitas combo plate and was happy with what I ordered and my friend was satisfied with her plate as well; salsas were really good! We loved the interior along with the restaurant not being so busy and loud. Would definitely come again when I'm on this side of town.

Today on Monday, we went to El Zárate Mexican restaurant. Everything was delicious We had horchata delicious We had huevos a la mexicana muy delicioso I had Menudo on a Monday.... Like what, nobody serves Menudo on Mondays. Menudo was delicious. We got a small fideo soup, delicious Highly recommended. I am visiting from Los Angeles and this is my second time here. When visiting Las Vegas it's a definitely a most stop and eat delicious food at a a good price.

If you're in Vegas looking for authentic Mexican food, this is it and a good option if you're in the area. It's hard to find good authentic Mexican food around Vegas and I have yet to try some others that are on my list.. Anyway, I ordered the carne asada and al pastor tacos and a carne asada burrito. I love that they add refried beans, rice and cilantro to their burrito. The tacos are tasty! I'll be back to try more! Good portions.. and other locations in the valley.

Food is super overpriced and the taste is bad, service is ok, I ordered the birria plate but did not taste like like birria at all! Their horchata tasted like water with a little sugar and rice. First and last time coming here.

Been going here for the last year, and every time the service is great, the food delicious, and the restaurant clean. Prices are on the good side of average. The only downside is that it's a smaller kitchen, so food can take a hit minute when they're busy.

Will not be going back to this place cause i don't know what's the cause of the sewer smell really can't enjoy my food like that and them quesabirrias just look like tortilla dipped in oil not even toasted or crunchy but if you really wanna enjoy sum good quesabirrias go try Raspados playas they are really good and crunchy even tho its at the north I'll drive all the way over there by pecos & east lake mead blvd

So far coming here for about a month. The food has been great. Anything I've ordered on the menu has been yummy. The staff always greets me with a smile and has been helpful with my orders. The ambiance is cozy. You can't go wrong here.

The food here is so good, this restaurant is so hidden yet it's so busy and I can see why... With the great service and very good food! I'm so happy to have found this gem. The Birria ramen is my favorite!! Hubby loved the menudo and the kids loved their asada quesadilla

Warning- this place does not value customer service. Came here last week and purchased four meals. the chicken that was in our food was extremely old and dry, rice was so old that it was hard and clumped together in little balls. Finally, I bit into my taquito and almost broke my tooth on a grid toothpick that was used to keep the taquito together when frying. I took pictures of everyone. I called them immediately and asked them for a refund. they guy told me I could get one if I brought my receipt. i reminded him he didn't give me a receipt. He said "oh yeah". he then said the owner would replace the leak at a later time and wrote my name down. I called one week later to gzt the food replaced. I was told that they already "replaced this food". A total lie. They basically were not willing to give me the food they peon used. Spent over $50 on lunch for my family that was not edible and met with rude customer service when asked. I will never ever visit this place again if you want good Mexican food you're better off making it yourself.

Menudo was salty and oily AF! The location is good. The restaurant cleanliness is good but as I was eating the worker started sweeping and then started mopping with a shit ton of Fabuloso! I got up and walked out.

Good Mexican food finally! Not much of the ambiance. I would go here whenever I am craving for Mexican food.

We got there about 45 min before closing and they did advise that we needed to order asap or the kitchen would close (like I get inside seating being shut down but the kitchen 30 min early?) a little annoying but it is what it is - also be advised the tiny place has limited seating and its pretty toasty inside so i might get my order to go next time! Anyway - the food was super good - the ramen was so meaty I actually wished there were more noodles! They do not skimp!! They have some great deals on the Birria plates and the tacos were really nice and full too!! The Birria Quesadilla was HUGE - you WILL get your moneys worth!!

Literally one of the best Mexican food restaurants I have had in my life. My husband is from a small town in Mexico that has amazing food and I'd say this rivals it! Of course they will have off days and maybe the menudo will have an extra piece of fat or an employee isn't the friendliest but that has no bearing on the deliciousness or authenticity of the food. My hubby and I always say it's a good review when you go to a restaurant and the people whose food it is are eating there! I.e you go to a Chinese restaurant where there are lots of Chinese eating, Indian restaurants with lots of Indian people eating there....same for this place! It's always filled with people who know what the real thing tastes like....what better review could you need! This trip we were in Vegas for 2 breakfasts and we ate there twice and literally had the exact same thing -2 quesabirria tacos $7 -menudo with corn tortillas $13 -chilaquiles rojo with over easy eggs $12 - cold Coke in a glass bottle $3

I can not believe that reviews of this place are real. Got food poisoning instantly. Food was super salty with no flavor. I had huevos Rancheros and it was terrible. My wife had chicken enchiladas and it was terrible. You can hear a drumming baseline for the radio station next door combined with the Mexican music that is played in the restaurant that will be extremely annoying if you dined inside. Price of food was $38.00 I do not recommend eating here.

I hail from the East Coast and have never understood the taco hype. I visited here one day for dinner with a friend and let me tell you - El Zarape was a huge step forward in jumping on the taco train. We tried the birria, carne asada, pollo and (I think) cabeza tacos. They were fresh and warm with soft shells and not shy on the fillings. I enjoy the double shell to keep everything in place and to have an extra shell to use for the over flow of contents from the initial taco. The warm hospitality at El Zarape was a nice cherry on top of an overall great experience.

Great hole in the wall. Great food and atmosphere. Will come back to try more items. My friends liked it as well. Counter lady was very helpful.

I love the Chilaquiles verdes with chicken and Birria tacos . The staff is always friendly and quick. Prices are fair with good portions. I love coming here. I've tried several taco spots in Vegas, but this is one of my top three .

Birria tacos.. Delicious Pozole.. FIRE Street tacos... Yummy I haven't had anything bad from here yet. Customer service is always great too. I usually call ahead and just pick up.

Their caldo res, medido and pozole stew very tasty. Very homemade. It's a small family owned restaurant. You order at the counter and then sit down. They had many patrons for lunch. Come try for yourself.

Simple but amazing Mexican food ordered at a counter and served on paper plates. Very cheap, very huge, very good. The menu isn't descriptive and is in Spanish. So ordering is a bit tricky for some less obvious items. It's great food though. Best shrimp quesadillas I ever had. Funny thing I ordered it blind not sure what I was even going to get. All I knew is that is was going to be seafood. Ended up I couldn't have been happier. Packed with shrimp and cheese. The place is a bit hard to find. It's in the rear of a commercial type warehouse building. The parking lot closest to the intersection does not connect with the back of the building where the restaurant is. Limited indoor seating. If it's not summer the outdoor seating looks nice.

Didn't get all of my tacos, I ordered 15 tacos. I only got 11 and they didn't add enough meat. It's a little tiny meat and you would think they would make their own homemade salsa but they don't . They give you packages of salsa . I called them to tell them that they forgot 4 tacos to my order. After tasting the other ones, I just didn't want to go pick up the tacos thinking they would spit on my food. I also tipped too, I seriously regret that. I don't see how this place has good reviews plus it was really nobody in there when I went just goes to show you that this place is not that great.

First time here, place was super busy and all the food I saw coming out and being served looked good. I I had an adobada taco and queso birria taco. The queso birria taco comes with a cup of beef juice for dunking your taco in it. Tacos were very tasty and the hot sauce was good. There was also an asada burrito that was ordered and was told it was decent. Staff was friendly and location looked clean. I did not check bathroom but will check next time I stop by to try something else .

Super delicious and authentic Mexican food. I've been here twice. The first time I don't remember what I ordered but I do remember being really thirsty. They give ice water though if you ask for it. The second time I came was last week and I got the cabeza quesadilla. It was really good. Fresh guacomole. Easy, casual, place with colorful wooden furniture. The only thing is that in the summer, they didn't really have A/C. The place was about 90 degrees yesterday, still cooler than outside by about 5-10 degrees. They did have a bunch of fans but the placement and the hot kitchen and food did not help.

The food was super good! The hot cheeto quesadilla is waaaay bigger than i tjought and hit hard, and sammy was super kind and checked in a couple times.

The carne en su jugo was like nothing I have ever tasted. I was very shocked how delicious that first bite was. I was expecting an ordinary taste but it took me back to being a kid eating at mom's table. Great flavor to the food definitely recommend.

Absolutely delicious . Authentic & fresh. The best Mexican I have ever had in my life. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a spot in the Vegas Area. My order was 3 Tacos de Birria & 1 Quesabirria.
