All the Dallas Restaurant Openings, July 2025 | Eater Dallas

"A European-inspired bistro with shared plates and a focus on seasonal foods is now open in Downtown Frisco. Look for dishes like Elaine’s Charcuterie, which changes frequently; goat cheese-stuffed peppadew peppers; and stone fruit panzanella with cherry tomatoes, pickled red onion, bocconcini, cucumber, torn croutons, basil pistou, and balsamic vinegar. The interiors were designed with the idea of a 1920s parlour in mind, with emerald colored velvet sofas, marble-topped tables, and vintage crystal chandeliers." - Courtney E. Smith

Elaine’s Cocktail Kitchen is my new favorite brunch spot in town. Their French press coffee is perfection, the fresh squeezed juice reminds me of European cafes, the quiche and salads are always fresh, the smoked salmon tartine, and cannoli crepes I haven’t tasted anything in Frisco that tops them… and they’ll even whip up a charcuterie board when you’re in a pinch. Friendly staff, gorgeous decor, and every detail feels intentional. Classy, elegant, and effortlessly welcoming.

A Surprising Culinary gem with a View! With a name like Elaine's Cocktail Kitchen, we were anticipating a great bar scene but we were pleasantly surprised to discover the wonderful dinner venue they offer. The setting is absolutely beautiful, located right downtown with a fantastic view of the old, iconic water tower, creating the perfect ambiance for a special night out. We started the evening with cocktails while we perused the menu. For an appetizer, we chose the Caviar and Chips, which was a delightful and luxurious start to our meal. For the main course, I ordered the 6 oz Angus beef filet with blue cheese butter. It was an excellent cut of meat and cooked to perfection. The filet was accompanied by delicious crushed marble potatoes and fresh tomato salad, which complemented the rich steak beautifully. My wife had the blackened salmon, served with corn pudding, quinoa, blistered tomatoes, and a vibrant basil pistou. She was equally impressed with her dish. The entire experience was elevated by the 5-star service. Our waitress, Gracie, was wonderful attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making us feel perfectly taken care of all evening. Don't be fooled by the "Cocktail Kitchen" in the name; while the drinks are great, the food is the true star. We highly recommend Elaine's for an outstanding dinner experience. We will definitely be back!

Elaine’s Cocktail Kitchen is truly exceptional. I’ve traveled all over, and living in Frisco it’s incredibly hard to find a place like this. This has become my place—the one I return to again and again. The quality of the food is outstanding. Every dish feels thoughtful and intentional, from the freshness of the ingredients to the way it’s presented. The cocktails are handcrafted with precision and care, easily some of the best I’ve had in DFW. What truly sets Elaine’s apart is the level of intention behind every move—from the customer service to the intimate, inviting atmosphere. You can feel that nothing is rushed and nothing is overlooked. It’s rare, and it’s special.

Absolutely incredible experience at Elaine’s Cocktail Kitchen! First of all, the location is beautiful. It has such a great atmosphere that feels both upscale and relaxed. But what really blew me away was the food. Amy, the chef, is extremely talented. You can tell she pours her heart into every dish. I had the horchata French toast, and let me tell you, I’m a total French toast snob and this was hands down the best one I’ve ever had. Perfectly fluffy, flavorful, and unique with that horchata twist. I also tried the espresso martini, and as someone who’s also very picky about those, it was soooo good, creamy, smooth, and the perfect balance of espresso and sweetness. Everything from start to finish was amazing. You can really feel the love and creativity behind this place. 10/10, can’t wait to go back!

Elaine’s Cocktail Kitchen is an absolute gem in the heart of Frisco! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a stunning, stylish venue that sets the tone for an unforgettable night. The food is exceptional and the drinks are next level. Chris behind the bar is a true master. His mixology skills, warm personality, and attention to detail make every cocktail an experience. This new spot on Main Street is well worth the trip, and it’s quickly becoming a go-to destination in Frisco for great food, amazing cocktails, and an unbeatable atmosphere.

We had a fantastic first experience at this new downtown Frisco restaurant. We tried the cocktails, a mocktail, a couple of the shareables, the kale & quinoa salad, the French onion sandwich, and the Brie & apple sandwich. Everything was delicious! Please go support this local gem.

If you are in Frisco, you absolutely have to try Elaine’s Cocktail Kitchen. My recent visit with my wife was exceptional from start to finish. The atmosphere is amazing—sophisticated yet comfortable—and the staff takes really great care of you, ensuring a perfect evening. The food and drinks were top-tier: Cocktails: I am a big fan of old fashioneds, and the one here was easily the smoothest I have ever had. My wife loved her "Elaine’s martini," too! Appetizers: We started with the bresaola wraps and petit cream appetizers, both of which were delicious and unique. Main Course: For the main course, the filet mignon was cooked perfectly—tender and flavorful. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. We highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for outstanding cocktails, delicious food, and a wonderful ambiance!

Google
Great new restaurant in downtown Frisco. The owner met us at the door. Wonderful wine list and cocktails. We had the Warm Marin French Petit Cream at Cole's suggestion and it was delicious. Can't wait to try many things from their menu.

Yelp
Frisco, Texas Great little Dinner and Cocktail spot... one block south of Main. We had the Salmon, Bleu Cheese Mousse, Beet & Burrata. All were excellent as was the Service. Also very good drinks and Coffee and Tea selections. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Just tried this place out today with a group of friends and the place was very beautiful with a great atmosphere. Service was also great our waiter was very kind and attentive so I appreciated that. Drinks and food were also good the only minor complaint about the food is that it wasn't very well seasoned. It was also a bit hard to hear each other as it was a bit loud however we had a great time trying out this restaurant and definitely recommend.

Yelp
new go to spot with the girls. not only is the food top tier with so many factors and flavors in any meal but the craft and signature cocktails were brilliant here. GET THE BURRATA PLATE, i don't know who decided to put melon in it but they are the smartest person ever. the cocktails were super yummy and refreshing with a twist in each one. the restaurant is also the cutest thing I've ever seen and they try to open in small downtowns of northern Texas areas so i think that's really cute.

Yelp
Elaine's is elegant and posh but it wasn't for me. We had the Bresaola Wraps (decent), Kale & Quinoa Salad (could not finish), French Onion Sandwich (too strong), and Croque Monsieur (too salty). The sandwiches were almost $20 and I didn't think they were worth it.

Yelp
Cute place. The burrata dish was excellent. The steak was just ok. They made us two mocktails that were amazing. The vanilla and caramel ice cream flavors were good. The server was very nice. Highly recommend for a girls night out.

Yelp
Had a wonderful Saturday evening at Elaine's yesterday. While we didn't have a Resy, they were kind enough to move tables around and get us a comfortable seating arrangement for a group of 3. They've also got a star studded team here running the show Jason (from empire brewing) and Chris (formerly at Kinzo) leading the beverage program, you know this is going to be good! Even though they were quite busy with a large group, the drinks still came out relatively fast and they were excellent. The highlight drink for me was the Cante negra which is a tequila based version of an espresso martini with a nice citrusy kick. The sleeper was the food though, we tried the beet salad, the caviar starter and the foie gras torchon which were all so excellent and paired really well with the drinks. Our kiddo truly enjoyed the Croque monsieur which was served with a really nice potato salad. Frisco has been in dire need of a legit cocktail bar outside of bottle in bond and Elaine's has emerged as a legit competitor to the throne! Keep up the great work team!!!

Yelp
An article in the Dallas Morning News caught my eye - it started with a new eatery in old downtown which is brave given the construction of late; but also stated this: "...the first concept from a local company aiming to open restaurants in historic downtowns across North Texas." Sounds like I need to go support this is what I was thinking!! Arrived with an ah-ha, finally found out what was going to be in this new building. They did a wonderful job with design (always a big bonus for me given my work.) Service was A+ from the get-go. Staff was knowledgeable, helpful and skilled despite them not being open for long. Bonus points for cool uniforma as well. We had the bruschetta appetizer - a fabulous new twist on a solid favorite. Drinks were MARVELOUS. Clearly crafted with care, delicious. We had Elaine's Martini (I think it was called) and the Strawberry Spritz. Going back to try them all!!

Yelp
What a fabulous surprise tonight!! Celebrated a special birthday with friends and Elaine's crushed every aspect! Food, service and ambiance were delightful. Great work creating a friendly, warm and unique spot! Anxious for the new location in Prosper

Yelp
Drinks are great, especially the Emerson. The kale salad with chicken was the best I've ever had!

Yelp
Ate here on a Thursday about 5:00. Split an Italian cold cut sandwich with my wife. We also had spreadable goat cheese appetizer on crackers and dried bread. We shared beef and burrata appetizer with friends we ate with. I had a Rail District drink (gin, cucumber, mint). Service very fast & friendly. The food all tasted excellent and the presentation very appealing They put a lot of thought into their menu. The sandwich on sourdough bread was good, a bit spicy, which we both liked. Not very big, if you're hungry at all then this is definitely not an item to split with someone. Appetizers very tasty - again, a bit on the small side. The ambience is excellent, nicely decorated. Not a cheap date (sandwich, 2 drinks & cheese/crackers appetizer was $80 with the tax/tip). Several different & unique cocktails, some very sweet (with added simple syrup). Clean bathrooms, lots of street parking. Its self-described moniker "cocktail kitchen" is most apt. Go here for a light refreshing cocktail and a small light bite to eat - excellent service, excellent food, beautiful classy interior, a little pricey.
