Elan Hotel

The experience was average. Stayed 3 nights. Cost total:$703 with $36 underground parking per night. Guess that's what the area gets you. You have to call to get into parking garage and the spots were somewhat confusing. If I was against the wall parked, I'd be blocked in. You must request room service with amenities. When I asked for coffee and creamer for the next day they only gave me one cup and one creamer (which was the powder creamer) even though they knew two were staying there. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. They also had construction going next door that started around 8:30/9AM. You also have to put out the trash and towels outside the door. Nice front desk person who stayed 24/hr.

I am currently undergoing several medical procedures at Cedar-Siani and needed to find a hotel that I could stay at that was nearby. I was so fortunate to find the Elan Hotel.The accommodations they have provided have been excellent. All of the staff from housekeeping to the front desk have been extremely helpful in taking care of whatever we have needed. I give this hotel 5 stars. I would like to acknowledge the following employees as 5 star employees. Blanca and Jose who helped us with all of our housekeeping needs. Daniel in maintenance who helped us get things squared away when we had to switch rooms. Juan, Carla and Jessica all front desk personnel that helped us with changing reservations, getting accommodations based upon our needs as well as the best rates they could offer. I definitely recommend this hotel.

My son is in the ICU at Cedars-Sinai and this place is well within walking distance. My wife, daughter-in-law and I stayed here for several days and still staying here. I don't think there is a better place for anywhere near the same price. The beds are comfortable and plenty adequate. Everything in the room is nice and fresh. Oscar is the general manager and treats the guests like royalty. The coffee machine is great and drink in the evening is pretty cool too! |I hope I never have to come back to the ICU here but if we do we'll stay here every single time! |Thank you Hotel Elan!!!

The extraordinary care of Donovan and Oscar made to stay at the hotel worth it. However, I asked for an Accessible room as I am handicapped and they didn’t give me one. But the superior staff made it work and the bathroom was safe. The hotel advertises breakfast, but there is no breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and the room cozy, It was a very good experience all things considered

I'll tell you why I gave them a 5 Star review. If you have an adult child in the Cedars-Sinai cardiac ICU you REALLY need a decent and quiet place that's close to the hospital. The beds here are better than most. They have a gathering time with a free beer or wine. The building is CLOSE to the hospital and stores. The staff are fantastic and remember us each time we come back from the end of a long day. It's close to food, shopping and some on street parking. Oscar is the general manager and he's kind and sympathetic to our situation. I had a colleague stay here in July for a week when his daughter was in the hospital and he thought the same thing. Carpet is dated but it actually kind of works here. Rooms are a bit smaller but they serve their purpose very well. Fridge and coffee in the room. It is in a safe area for walking and driving. I'll stay here anytime and every time we come back to the area. Thanks for everything!!!

Rooms are dark and musty. Staff were not real friendly. Great location to Cedars-Sinai. I requested a discount as my husband was staying at Cedars-Sinai for surgery. The staff on the phone assured me that I was getting the hospital discount, but when I looked at my credit card statement I was charged full price.

Stayed here for a night. Had a great experience. Juan was such an amazing and kind host! Great place to stay if you need to hop down for watch pickups from loupethis or keystone

I enjoy staying at the Elan Hotel. I have found the rooms to be clean and comfortable, on each of my visits. Also, the staff is friendly and helpful. The nearby neighborhood is well-kept and clean, and I've always felt safe in the surrounding area. Another great thing about the Elan is that I find it conveniently located. It's only about a half mile walk/jog from the famous/iconic Easton Gym, which is eastward on Beverly Blvd. Also, nearby food choices that are close to the hotel include Chipotle, as well as the delicious Mandarette Chinese Cafe (which is well worth a visit). In addition, there's a 24-hour CVS pharmacy/store just a few blocks away (within walking distance), which also contains a decent food section. Just down the street westward from the hotel is the massive and well-known Beverly Center shopping mall. All-in-all, I give a high recommendation for the Elan Hotel. The nightly room price is usually reasonable, and I've never been disappointed in my stays here.
