Seaside setting, elegant dishes, great menu. The upsell on fresh fish, shell fish and lobster was interesting yet very pricy at "market price". Wine list with tablet app was confusing at best. We had a great meal based on the elaborate standard menu. 1 star * Michelin quality at reasonable prices for the quality. Patatas brava, croquettas de Jambon, stuffed Squid. Sea Bass and Courgette. Cheesecake. A great bottle of Emporda white to enjoy along the lunch was a great choice Can highly recommend for a romantic lunch

During a 3-day span, I dinned twice at Eldelmar. Not my choice to dine consecutively in the same establishment, but I was part of a larger party. In summary, the food was far from great. We ordered: Ibérico Ham (B+): good, but I’ve had much better Wagyu Cecina (B-): had high expectations, but it was just OK 6-cheese board (B+): good selection, but still pales in comparison to other local options Wild Sea Bass (D+): undersized portion. Initially tasted great, but felt slightly nauseated after a few bites Fish of the day, can’t recall which one (A-): very flavorful Steak (B): tender and reasonable flavorful. Good but not memorable I don’t drink alcohol so I can’t comment on their wine selection, but my colleagues were pleased. At the end of the day, I expected more from a pricy Michelin recommended restaurant. While spending much less, you can get a substantially better meal in a myriad of other restaurants in Barcelona.

After eating at this place, I experienced a serious case of food poisoning. I ordered the Rossejat noodles on the evening of January 1. A few hours after the meal, I developed severe symptoms and had to seek medical help. The most serious effects lasted for about two days, and I am still recovering. Before the symptoms started, I had not eaten anything else. My wife ordered a different dish and felt completely fine, and thankfully, we did not share food. Based on this, I believe the issue was related to this specific dish. Only after this experience did I notice recent reviews mentioning similar situations. I am leaving this review to warn others. The staff were friendly, and they were very welcoming toward our small dog, which we appreciated. However, the table service was average: empty appetizer plates were not cleared in time, and when the main dishes were brought (including the one that later caused my illness), there was no space on the table. This created unnecessary confusion, as the staff had to put the prepared dishes aside, clear the table, change the cutlery, and only then serve the food. However, these details feel far less important after dealing with such serious health issues.

ELDELMAR - HERMANOS TORR Located by the beach in Barcelona, ELDELMAR - HERMANOS TORR is one of Barcelona’s newest restaurant. The overall decor was modern yet comfortable. The service was friendly (I think us having dinner on a Sunday might have been why there wasn’t as much staff as normal). They come to your table with a cart of fresh fish and seafood. They explain what each of them are and how they can be prepared. We honestly were a bit surprised at the cost of ordering for 2 adults and 1 child (basic fish) which came out to 135 euors (just for the fish). We instead opted to order dishes that already contained fish. We had some yummy starters with their tomato and burrito dish, their version of Potato Bravas (there’s had a kick with spice and flavors). For our main entries, we had the gnocchi with caviar, Seafood Cocque and the rice with some baked fish. Overall it was a good dinner.

They brought out a large tray with the fresh daily catch to choose from. The staff were very welcoming and explained everything clearly, always with a warm smile. The paella was delicious. However, if you choose the barbecued shrimp, you should be familiar with how to clean them properly, including removing the digestive tract.

We went for an aperitivo. Service is very friendly. The oysters are amazing. The food and serving is very good. The atmosphere is superb. We took the seat in the terrace by the sea. The furniture, sea, music all very harmoic

Could you imagine the quality of the service of this place … I have never had this experience . The waiter prepared the fish and literally left it as you could see))) incredible So , we ve been waiting for 5(!) minutes , nobody returned . Then we called another guy to serve us . Make the conclusion ! Overpriced . Using the name of Hermanos Torres but far far from the proper quality
