"With its friendly service and bright monochrome décor, there is a pleasantly relaxed feel to this neighbourhood restaurant and wine bar. The kitchen team take plenty of care in preparing a set menu of fresh-tasting dishes, with desserts proving a highlight – if you're lucky, you'll get to try the wonderfully indulgent tirami-choux. Dietary requirements are well catered for, with well thought out vegetarian and vegan menus available on request." - Michelin Inspector

Michelin level food, service and wine! Super intimate atmosphere with gorgeous minimalist layout. The duck was a highlight, but the entire lunch set menu was divine. Will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful meal at Eleanore last night. Enjoyed the tasting menu (plus oysters) as well as the wine pairing. It’s definitely not cheap, but it was lovely service, high quality, and filling while not feeling stuffed. I sat at the bar where I watched many of the courses be prepped, which was fun to watch as well. Highlights were the tortellini in brodo as well as the “tiramisu” dessert. The wine pairing was absolutely lovely, and they were not stingy about top offs between courses. Highly recommend and would go back.

We had a 7-course set tasting menu of small dishes. All really good and out of the ordinary without overdoing it. Very small restaurant, about 20 persons maximum, so very personal service by 2 kitchen and 2 waiting staff. Quite expensive, but not strange considering high-end food and service. Recommended, making reservations in advance.

From the moment you step inside, the warmth of the staff and the subtle scent of local beer and whisky set the tone for an evening that feels both intimate and memorable. The front-of-house team balances professionalism with genuine Scottish hospitality — attentive without pretence, engaging without intrusion. Loved sitting at The Pass and witnessing the chef handle and prepare the highest quality ingredients with care. Music was spot on too. Thank you LC Highly recommend!

Elenaore is a hidden gem offering an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment we arrived, the warm, attentive staff made sure everything was perfect. Drinks, appetizers, mains, and desserts were all exceptional. Each dish was beautifully crafted and bursting with flavor. The cozy, intimate atmosphere made it truly special. I’ve been telling all my friends about it—it was a highlight of my trip. Definitely book a table ahead of your trip to secure a spot! One of the best meals I’ve ever had.

Tiny place. The lady serving us was really informative about the wines and we had some cracking wines with the taster menu. All the courses were perfect, hats off to the kitchen team Only slight niggle is we used the wrong cutlery for one of the courses and then needed that spoon for the next and non was provided, was still tasty and we just drank it from the bowl which was fine by us!

Was blown away by how tasty the food was. This was my third time having a tasting menu and it was the best one so far. The restaurant has a nice cosy feel and the service is very attentive, with very kind staff. The attention to detail was spot on and the main course (the cod) had a bigger portion than I expected and was the best part of the meal. Thank you to all the staff and the chefs for making this experience so special!

Eleanore is the kind of place that quietly impresses you — not with grandeur, but with intention and care in every detail. The space is warm, minimal, and intimate — ideal for a relaxed evening where the food does the talking. Drinks-wise, their wine list leans natural, and they’re more than happy to guide you If you’re into thoughtful cooking with a modern edge and an unfussy vibe, Eleanore hits the mark.
