So if you’re going to get all horizontal on one of the Electric’s big sofa setups, then you’ll probably want to swing by the diner for a meal before going full Jabba the Hutt. "The Electric Diner in Notting Hill has a prawn and chicken katsu burger that you’ll want to talk about. During the day, there’s table service, but come evening you have to head to the counter to order. You know what happens at counters? Conversations, that’s what. They’re ordering the apple old fashioned, and so are you. Next thing you know, you’re all sat in one of their plush red leather booths showing each other pictures of your pets and/or nephews. Come midnight, the music gets louder and a healthy dose of dancing is encouraged. Also, if you happen to have caught a film earlier in the day at Electric Cinema next door, bets are that half the other diners did too. There could be a zombie apocalypse going on outside your window and all you’d be able to tell survivors is the correct way to Harvard Reference. Seriously, go outside and head to Electric Diner in Notting Hill. This American diner spot has huge red booths perfect for groups, a banging mac and cheese, and a prawn and katsu burger you definitely want on your table. It’s always pretty lively here, but if you’re after a chilled gateway back into socialising, watch a film at the Electric Cinema next door before dinner. "The breakfast and brunch menus at this all day-diner has everything from a gruyere omelette to eggs royale, but, importantly, they also have pancakes, french toast, waffles, and granola bowls. And as well as house-press juices, fresh smoothies, superfood lattes, there’s also a range of teas and chocolate shakes. Basically, with this many options there’s bound to be something your pal likes.
