Electric Diner Review - Notting Hill - London - The Infatuation

"Notting Hill feels like it should have a good old fashioned diner, and it does. The Electric isn’t cheap, but it’s a great shout no matter what time you’re in the area. There’s an all-day breakfast menu from 8am which is generally very satisfying, and a solid selection of uncomplicated but delicious food for a really hearty dinner. The flat iron chicken and a double cheeseburger should at the very least be on your table, but the mac and cheese is our go-to order. FYI you get 50% off if you’re also making use of the cinema next door and they’re also open until the early hours from Thursday to Saturday. Basically, The Electric serves three simultaneously noble purposes: hangover cure, hangover cause, and a solid all day American diner." - Sam Collins

A group of 8 of us went for brunch today at the James St. location. All of us loved the vibe and the atmosphere. It is just a fun place to be. Everyone that worked there was super friendly and extremely accommodating. The menu had a variety of items that would fit anyone’s tastes and dietary restrictions. Overall, we would say that the food was good. The service was great. We loved the movies that were playing on the screens. Parking is a bit tricky because you either have to find a place to park on the street or get lucky and find a spot in the parking lot.

Stopped by, spur of the moment (though has been on our list of 'want to try') for dinner. Nice atmosphere inside: think 80s/early 90s. Food portions were good and tasted nice.

Amazing weekend brunch! Call ahead to make a reservation, it gets busy. We loved everything about our visit. The food, service and atmosphere were all on point. We can’t wait to go back and try other items on the menu.

What a kitschy and camp local Hamilton spot! Went to the Hess village location (be warned, there are two locations so make sure you show up to the right one). It was a lovely birthday dinner and not many diners so felt very private. For vibes, think jetsons meet 1960’s dinner meets a manic pixie dream girl! Plus, free dessert for the bday girl. The food was great, highly reccomend the kimchi fries x

We went at Sunday for a brunch. The food was delicious. My was Electric Benny, I loved it, eggs with a perfect hollandaise on a toast, the salad was perfect seasoned. My husband and his mother also loved them food. The service was good. A single point that we didn't like, they served water in unbreakable reusable cup.

Tried this place for brunch! The latte was warm at best and not hot! The bacon was very overcooked and didn’t really taste like much and the fries were bland! Bread was delicious and so was the salad! Overall it was an okay experience but my experience at the other branch has been better.

Visited the George St location and had really high hopes for this place while everything was good I was just underwhelmed by the experience. They had a DJ Playing outside while it was nice it was too loud to sit and eat more to get up and dance, so we sat outside on the other side of the patio, but felt we were tucked away from everything. They were hosting a 5 year anniversary party so the staffed seemed very busy and kept apologizing for the wait. I ordered the watermelon sour and we got 2 smash burgers for $5 each (special birthday menu item) would like to see how this location is when they arnt hosting an event. Also bonus they were giving out slices of cake for the anniversary! Thanks for the cake and Happy anniversary🥳

Came for a family get together and loved the atmosphere here. The food was delicious and the service was prompt. We had a minor complaint about the loudness of the music, and our waitress ensured the volume was turned down. We were so grateful! Oh, and amazing virgin Caesar.
