Checked out this place on a Monday after work with a friend - let's just say not a soul was there at 4:30pm so we had the entire 2-story bar to ourselves for a while lol!
The space - very large, colorful, light, open and airy atmosphere with many Instagram photo ops. The upstairs is 1/2 outdoors (full roof coverage), 1/2 indoors with it's own bar (tab transfers from downstairs). Enjoyed the bright fluorescent decor. The "slide" was interesting / average / kinda didn't make a whole lot of sense in this upstairs corner of the bar, but hey it's different. Felt like there was a ton of space to sit and hang out but then again we didn't come on a busy weekend night. Upstairs has a fun boomerang selfie camera on the wall (no charge). Good tunes. Would recommend lowering the price per game on the downstairs Pong game ($4 is a little hefty).
The drinks - Monday happy hour is all day (other weekdays are 3-7p) but is only $1 off liquor, beer, wine. To be honest, this isn't much of a deal as it put liquor/wine drinks still around $7-8+ after tax. Other nights have different deals. Specialty cocktails are *not included* and are pricey at $12 (this is not a specialty mixology bar). There is not food on happy hour. I would recommend better happy hour deals that include specialty cocktails and food and lowering the specialty cocktail price overall point by $1-2.
The food - we got the crispy garlic ginger red potato bombs ($8). These were yummy. We also got the Thai chicken flatbread on naan bread ($13) which was very dry, flavorless, underwhelming presentation, and too expensive for the portion size to be honest. I would value this at no more than $8, and the flavor profile needs to be worked on!
My friend and I had fun here especially because it wasn't crowded, but the food/drink options need improvement!
