"Electric Pussycat is a pop-up bar themed around Austin Powers, located in a transformed former bank building in Glendale. The bar features mod cocktail decor with neon lighting, swinging clear plastic lounge chairs, hanging beads, disco-style light-up flooring, and themed entertainment including an Austin Powers impersonator and Fembots. Drinks include movie-themed cocktails like the Phat Bastard, alongside bar staples such as grilled cheese sandwiches. The venue aims to offer a drinks-fueled pop culture escapade with dancing and socializing opportunities." - Farley Elliott

3.75 stars - Came here for a birthday party. Small and loud club with an upstairs and what seemed to be VIP areas. Someone would like this place! It's not even 50% my steze, but that being said, I like my bars dirty and cheap! After getting past the 2 friendly security guys at the door I walked into a very tight, half-full, club-like atmosphere. Made my way fairly easily to the back to meet the people I came to see. Everyone was hanging out and seemed to be having fun. For those with tender wallets, BEWARE, the drinks are EXPENSIVE! One round of drinks for 4 people was almost $100. Men's restroom (1 urinal, 1 stall) was halfway decent but for those drink prices, they should make sure the paper towels are stocked. Didn't see a single one all night. Nobody wants wet hands in a club. Tighten up! Someone had a great night here last night. Seems fun, hip, small and overpriced to me. Would probably go back if forced.

This bar was a lot of fun, the drinks were delicious and the decor was amazing. If you get some courage, the pole is there for you.

Drinks were great (I got the Cryogenic Freeze and my friend got the Yeah Baby). Aesthetic was beautiful, we took a lot of photos and made tons of dorky references. But as another review mentions on here, there was something missing; not sure how to describe it though. Still recommend going because when else are you going to get to go to an Austin Powers bar? Definitely worth it, just plan to go somewhere after.

Loved loved loved the ambiance and the staff! I’m a girl who is down for a costume opportunity so prefect you can dress themed or not. Drinks were expensive but heavy poured so there’s that and the sandwich I tried was delicious. It was expensive but I’d rather pay extra for the cool venue than go to a dive bar and drink on the cheap. Probably depends on your personality...mine loved it!!!!

I first experienced this once amazing bar about two years ago. when the bar was new, they had a food menu and a diverse drink menu. They also had Austin Powers and the fembots. It was amazing, a night I definitely would remember for the rest of my life. The following year I returned for my birthday and the place has drastically changed. It was empty, heavily run down, the men you dropped all of their food items, and just had a limited drink menu. there was no more Austin Powers or anything of the sort. The DJ was playing modern hip-hop music instead of 60s. I felt as if the entire place lost its soul, it's just a husk of a former self. this place MUST go under new ownership, the current owner is driving right into the ground. in short, it was once an amazing place to be, now it's just dirty, empty and lacking of anyting that was once amazing.

We went on a Saturday night. There was a stripper poll with no dancer included. This place has great music but doesn't stay within the 70s theme which is fine but it seems no one is there to just let loose and dance because they can't decide the theme of the atmosphere. Also asked for drinks on there menu on their website and they said they don't have any special drinks right now and to order regular drinks. The problem is that this place is still figuring out what that want to be and that makes everyone else confused and stressed and not ready to let go and dance.

i really wanted to love this place because of the 70's theme i saw online prior to visiting. i probably came on the wrong night or it was an off day because they were playing 90's hip hop and it did not fit the theme. we just felt a strange vibe from the small crowd that was there and we left about 15/20 minutes later. i will be coming back on a different day at a different time and hopefully will have a different experience. my rating is a hopeful 3 stars otherwise it would've been a 1 star visit.
