I hired Electrica to install a phone utility box at the demarc of my house (a low-voltage job). Typically, AT&T would be responsible for installing a demarc box (for storing AT&T equipment inside). And they did, but their job was really lousy and cheap; they left my internal wiring cables sticking out from the exterior wall and exposed to the rain. Andrew from Electrica came and did a very clean job with great attention to detail, with the proper weather proofing and high-quality equipment. I'd definitely hire them again for my next job.

My spouse worked with Nick twice and he would say that Nick is a great person. Our wall charger stopped charging our cars unexpectedly, Nick came out on Christmas Eve, and fixed the problem right way. I agree with my spouse, my experience with Nick and his company is excellent. We just moved into a new home and was looking into possibly upgrading our electric panel and Nick came by to take a look at everything. He was very knowledgeable and explained our situation and possible options. He tested everything after install to ensure that it was working correctly. I work in the design build industry and it is very rare to meet other industry professionals like Nick who are organized and care about the final result. Electrica installed an EV charger. Did a great job. They re-worked the main panel a bit to accommodate the breaker, cleanly/neatly ran metal conduit to the front of the house and installed a smaller breaker box and the charger inside the garage. They responded quickly to my request for quote, reviewed the job to be done and gave me a fair quote. Andy showed up on time and efficiently got the work done. I am very satisfied with the installation.

Overall, I had a great experience with Electrica. Pricing for installation falls in the middle of the pack. Electrica wasn't the most expensive quote I received, but it also wasn't the cheapest. Andrew came out to install my Tesla Universal Charger, and the installation went smoothly. The charger works very well. I initially had some issues connecting the charger to my Tesla app, but Andrew came back to help me get it set up and working properly. One thing to note: A return visit for customer support or diagnostics do incur an extra charge, even if it's related to a recent installation. Just something to keep in mind.

Nick at electrical is a professional and stand up guy. I contacted him about a thorny issue with rare intermittent breaker tripping. He sent one of his staff who suggested replacing the old breaker, but wasn't sure it would solve the issue. The breaker unfortunately tripped again, so the cause is still unknown, and may require many days of diagnosis, that I'm not sure I could afford at this time. Nick refunded the entire cost of the diagnostic visit and breaker replacement, without me having even requested it. While Electrica's rate are not the lowest, this may be a case of getting what you pay for, and I will definitely consider Electrica for future jobs.

I was very satisfied with the work Electrica did for me. I had to provide electrical connections from the house to a shed on the property. Nick, the owner, came and gave me two estimates with different options and prices to address the issue. The work was done by a technician, Rustam. The task was not easy. There were some connections to the shed in the past, but all wires were running in underground conduits that were constructed decades ago and were not accessible. I was impressed by the work Rustam did in solving the issue of finding and repairing those connections. It was very challenging to find those wires. But Rustam proceeded very methodically and creatively, never gave up on his search (even when I thought that we had explored all the possibilities), and finally found it! He was also very polite and respectful in his demeanor. I highly recommend Rustam and Electrica.

I contacted Electrica for an estimate to install an electrical vehicle charger. Nick came out to give the estimate. He was on-time and knowledgeable about the electrical panel. He provided multiple options for the installation location. Unfortunately, Nick did not seem to know that NASC is now the industry standard for EV charging. He referred to my EV as a Kia, even though he was corrected multiple times that it was a Hyundai. He consistently recommended Tesla products and he discouraged, permitting for the installation. His quote for getting a city permit was twice that of other electricians and, ultimately, we decided to go with another provider, who supported permitting for the project.

I recently had a Tesla Wall charger installed at my home and couldn't be happier with the entire experience with Electrica.Inc everything was professional, fast, and flawless. I needed to wire and install a 240v hanging power heater. We needed to have new switches from our main breaker to the backyard. They did the work on-time and at a fair price. We will use them for all of our electrical needs in the future.

The Tesla installation guys appear to be dismayed by what they saw in the garage. I guess it was bad enough that they were worried that the inspector would simply wholesale refuse to sign off on the project even though the non-compliant items were unrelated to the hardware that they had installed (solar and powerwall). They didn't elaborate too much but they explained that the wires coming out of the sub-panel in the garage had to be in a conduit. The previous owner must have installed his own electric in the garage and it was not done to code. Before leaving they pretty much begged me to bring in a professional to fix it which I promised I would. I posted a photo and explanation on Yelp. Among all the canned responses Nick was the only one who responded with "How long a conduit?". I appreciated the attention to detail and decided to go with him. Now, these Eastern European folks tend to be a fairly unflappable having presumably seen all manner of shoddy electrical work. But even they were horrified ("You have 50 Amps 240 Volts not in conduit!!! This is BAAAAAD!!!!! Person installing this is like MONKEY!!!"). Apparently, it wasn't just your usual power lines that came out of that subpanel but also the wire to the AC condenser which carries a substantial amount of current. His tech disconnected all the wires, moved a box and put everything in a conduit (see photo). It looks rock solid. I liked working with them enough that I asked Nick to come back and install an EV charging plug. Nick gave me good suggestions on what I should install and where I should install it. He also explained what things are required by common sense and best engineering practices, what things are required by California code, and what to do when the two don't intersect. We spoke on Fri. Already the next day his tech came out to do the work. Andrey worked with me to get the plug exactly right. He helped improvise a support for the BMW charger from a bike hook I had lying around (see photo). Again, the installation looks rock solid. Overall, my impression is that Nick and his guys are genuinely concerned with doing high quality work and not just rushing through the job ("We use good plug not Home Depo cr*p. You sleep good at night!"). I'm happy I went with a local company and will certainly be using them again if I need any electrical work done.

Great service, had a different company install a my main breaker box as well as install a generator transfer switch. Well needless to say is they did a horrible job. Called the good people at Electrica to inspect. The came inspected the work and explained to me in simple terms what was don't correctly and incorrectly. Quoted me on the spot for repairs and got to work. Quality was above and beyond what I expected, everything is working the way it should. Not to mention reasonable pricing, I will using Electrica for all my electrical needs from now on.

I messaged about needing a plug installed for my dryer and was able to get my appointment and the plug installed within 3 hours of messaging. And on Memorial Day weekend! Highly impressed and will use again.

Nick and Andrew did a great job upgrading my electrical panel and adding a new EV charger. The work was completed in two days at a fair price. Very professional, arrived on time and understood everything that needed to be done. This is a very easy company to work with and I would definately hire them again to work at my home. (July 2025)

I chose Electrica partly because of their 5.0 rating to install two grounded outlets for my air conditioner. Max and Rasty lived up to the 5.0 rating. They were absolutely excellent! They did top notch work. They let me know what they were doing and why. When there was a problem, they let me know. They gave me options and let me decide what to do. On top of their excellent workmanship, they were friendly and very pleasant to have in my house. The final cost was within the range which Nick had quoted over the phone. It was only $50 over the lowest of 3 bids I received and $550 under the highest bid. Very pleased with Max and Rasty, Electrica, and the beautiful job they did.

I found them on Yelp and they truly exceeded my expectations. I needed a Tesla Charger installed, but my meter capacity was low. Their team handled the job flawlessly and ensured everything was done up to code. They are knowledgeable, efficient, and highly professional. I would strongly recommend them for any electrical services.

Last summer, my master circuit breaker tripped on a hot day, and then it tripped again a week later. I requested a quote to replace it through Yelp, and Nick from Electrica was one of the first to respond. He was extremely responsive, texting with me in the evening and even on weekends. He was able to replace my master CB while I was at work, quickly and for a very reasonable price. It's been fine ever since. This year, my A/C circuit breaker tripped multiple times so I texted Nick again late on a Friday night. He sent Andrew out Saturday afternoon, and Andrew had the problem diagnosed in under 10 minutes. A rodent had chewed through the electrical wires under my back deck, causing a short. Andrew replaced the wires along with a new wall box and a conduit (which should have been there in the first place) in under two hours, on a Saturday, with a last-minute appointment. Electrica is my go-to for any electrical issues.

EV charger was added and they fixed an outside electrical box too. Everything is working and done in timely manner. Work looks great. Quote was similar to other contractors, but this company seems to do a lot of EV chargers.

I called Electrical a few days ago and they were able to accommodate me quickly by coming to my business within 48 hours to install a new (110 electrical outlet) in my office. I was pleased to see them come 10/15 min early, had a professional van, all the equipment plus vacuum. They were able to do in 2 1/2 hours, layed plastic down, vacuumed, and did a great job cleaning up. They had to cut a 5 foot piece of sheetrock out but was able to reuse and put back in the exact spot, plus they patched the wall. I'm very happy with their professionalism and accommodating me on short notice.

They came out promptly to diagnose our broken car charger and install a new smart thermostat. They took care of everything with the new charger, including the permit inspection and figuring out error messages for one of our cars (turned out to be a broken port on the car). They were very considerate about placement of the new charger. They acknowledged up front that they weren't certain about the thermostat installation for our house (radiant heat), but gave it a try. It didn't work. They tried to troubleshoot via text, and when that didn't work refunded the full amount for the failed installation. Very happy with the service! They were professional, straightforward, and thorough. Great crew.

I am just a guy who doesn't know a lot about transfer switch but I know I want to install one for my home due to we usually experience several power outage during raining season in Bay Area. I contacted several companies who think they can help me with this project. Nick at Electrica is the ONLY person who is patient and knowledgeable enough to ask me some important questions and educate me what is what and how the whole system (yes. including generator, cable type...etc) comes together to help me during power outage. They quoted me the second best price for the installation but based on my communication with Nick, they are the one and only company I feel that know what they are doing and have the experience I want as my project handler. My gut feeling is right on the money when they send Max to work on the project on 9/25/2025. Max is very organized, efficient and patient (pretty much like Nick I have experienced with). The project hits a hiccup when we were testing the final installation due to our 100 year-old house has a very weird wiring issue but Max behaved just like a pro and get it all sorted out and fixed in no time. This experience is so smooth and calm even I know very little about transfer switch from the start (most information I had is from youtube videos). If You are interested in hiring an electrician and your knowledge about the project is limited like me, your best bet is Electrica. Nick, Max, thank you so much for your patience and help. Andrew from Electrica came and did a quick diagnostic on our electrical panel. Repaired a burnt wire and replaced our breaker. Also gave information on what caused the issue and what upgrades we might need in the future. Quick friendly service, no upsell. Would recommend for future projects.

We worked with Nick from Electrica to install the Tesla Level 2 charger and the Neurio Load balancer at our house. Nick first came over to inspect the panel and the location of the installation and gave us a quote. His quote was reasonable compared to what I heard from colleagues and reading online forums. He also did a great job of explaining the installation and city permitting process to me. So we decided to go ahead with him to get the installation done. After we made our decision, Nick was able to accommodate us quickly for an installation the very next day. He arrived right on the clock at the promised time and got started with his work. As some one who likes to observe and ask a lot of questions when getting things fixed at my home, I naturally asked Nick many question about why he was doing something the way he was doing and so on, and Nick was kind enough to answer all of my questions. He completed the installation and walked me through how he had programmed the wall charger and Neurio load balancer to work well with my sub-panel limit. The Electrica team was fast, hard working, reasonably priced, and very friendly! I reached out to them through Yelp regarding 1) broken outlets, 2) broken lights, 3) installing a Tesla wall charger and 4) installing new outlets in the house. Nick got back to me in 15 minutes and had Max at my house diagnosing the issues within an hour and a half. He always wore shoe coverings in the house too which was very appreciated! One by one, he fixed all the broken outlets in the house and also found some inefficient electrical wiring along the way. After 2 hours, Max and Nick walked me through the game plan and cost of installing an EV charger, adding the new outlets, and fixing the inefficient wiring in my house. The cost was reasonable and so after giving them the go ahead, Max worked full steam to get the work done. He didn't leave until he finished what he needed to do! Everything was completed by the following evening and I couldn't be happier with the service I received from this team! Highly recommend.

I wanted to replace our gas water heater with electric one, which required a new circuit to be installed to the closet. I struggled to find a good electrician so I relieved when Nick responded very quickly and did a same-day evaluation. I was impressed that even remotely he spotted that the electric subpanel was already fully loaded and he recommended another solution. Nick can do the entire permit process for you if you pay for that service. This is excellent because as a customer, you don't need to deal with the complex permit process. Today Electrica saved us big time. We had a new washer/dryer delivered and installed today but the dryer kept tripping the breaker. I used the Yelp project function to help find an electrician. They were the first to reach out and the most responsive by being able to come same day. Tech got here and started to work and found that the installers did not connect the cord correctly to the machine. So, he fixed that and turned the outlet around so the cord could lay properly. Overall Electrica Inc was perfect, timely and valuable to us. Highly recommend for all your electrical needs.
