This was a wonderful experience as someone who is not from here I went back like 3 times. Best coffee in Nashville. So many good drinks and just overall Great time. Clean location, Great to do work in a quiet environment. Please make sure to visit. This is a must visit coffee shop.

Google
This coffee shop always has an amazing atmosphere! Huge bonus points for the abundance of beautiful plants—it makes the space so cozy and inviting. The coffee is always delicious, and trust me, I’m picky when it comes to coffee! 😂The staff is always incredibly friendly and welcoming

Google
Great coffee and great energy! It’s a small place but always super efficient. They are famously known for their Honey Bear Latte, but I gravitated more towards their Black & White coffee and it was so yummy! Could not rate food since I have only ordered their coffee products.

Really nice spot to get some work done. Good coffee and nice people. 💯 Recommend‼️ Germantown in general is a really nice place to go eat and grab a drink in general 🍻

Google
Before I get into my rating, here’s what I loved about this cafe and why it might be a 5-star for you: - they’re not joking when it comes to their espresso. It’s everything you wish Coffee offers you - their specialty latte flavor is so unique and unlike what I have had anywhere else. In fact, they don’t hide behind the popular ingredients that go with coffee such as hazelnut, dark chocolate, caramel etc. I had the Garden Party Latte and it just blew my mind The reason I’m not giving it a high rating is because: - it was hard to work there at around 3pm on a sunny day, I could hardly see my laptop screen with that reflection. A couple of people sitting around me were also changing their positions to get a better look at their laptops - parking on Taylor street is almost never available. You gotta use a paid parking lot to hang out here - at $7.50 it’s priced a tad steep - didn’t get the cozy vibe I usually look for in cafes

Snagged a yummy vegan burrito here ! A bit over salty but the salsa mellowed the salt out for a perfect brunch bite.

Google
I'd give this place 8 stars if I could. First, the batistas were super kind in moving us through their diverse menu and helping us find just what we were looking for. Second, the variety and excitement of their coffee offerings was incredible! My friends and I tried the Black and White Cold Brew, didn't know coffee could taste like an Oreo, the Honey Bear Cold Brew which was lightly sweet, creamy and so smooth, Spicy Twice Tonic so fun and approachable especially for someone that's not a spicy coffee kinda guy and also a Hot Miso Carmel Latte. You read that right. If you like the coffee experience you've got to try this one. Its almost like a savory latte but rich at the same time. Good for Elegy for taking risks to really create an exciting coffee experience.

Google
The Elegy honey bear bottles are iconic in Nashville and attract many customers to Elegy but this shop has so much more to offer. I had an espresso tonic, a honey bear latte, and an espresso and was sincerely impressed by the espresso tonic and espresso shot. The tonic had rosemary syrup and the flavor translated perfectly. I feel like this can be a hard thing to do in espresso-based drinks but Elegy did it successfully. The shot itself was balanced and showcased the quality of the drinks here. I enjoyed the honey bear latte, but it was far too sweet for me to drink comfortably without adding more black coffee to it when I got home. The food was also good and had a variety of options. They do have some gluten free substitutes available. Another thing I enjoyed about Elegy was the ice they use. This shop uses blocks of ice that don’t melt fast in your drink! The vibe of Elegy Germantown is different than that of its East location. Both focus on greenery and a small+ cozy atmosphere but the Germantown location has a NY feel about it that makes it a treat to visit. The shop is clean and they don’t play their music loud. The only downside is size. There is plenty of seating outside but if you want to grab a coffee and read a book from inside the shop or hop on your laptop- I would highly advise against it unless you are here during non-peak hours. The shop can get busy and it is best not to use one of the few tables they have for multiple hours. This shop is most suited for a brief stop on your walk around Germantown. If you are looking to find parking for this location, I would not expect to find a spot out front. Construction and residents of the nearby apartments tend to use the street parking next to the shop. Instead, I would park on 2nd Ave North and walk to Elegy. However, there is metered parking outside of Oku that guests can use. However, there is no parking redemption at this location of Elegy and parking in this lot can be expensive. Enforcement is 24/7 and parking patrol is pretty serious about this. Elegy has parking directions online for all of their locations.

Yelp
I almost never drink coffee but today was a special occasion and I decided to try this place out. Because of the fact that I never drink coffee, I don't really know what I like/don't like, so I basically order the same variety of drink everywhere I go (something flavored and iced). I got the small vanilla iced latte here and it was super good for someone that never drinks coffee. It wasn't too sweet and didn't have too much ice to the point where it got watered down heavily when the ice melted. It was also a super cute store with greenery and yummy looking pastries. There's not much space to sit inside but they do have outside seating. I definitely recommend this place

Yelp
I have been a handful of times throughout the week, sharing the Honey Bear batch bottles as gifts to friends and I have come to a conclusion. Scratch that - we have ALL came to a unanimous decision...BEST COFFEE IN NASHVILLE. BEST ICED COFFEE LATTE IVE TASTED. Perfection. As someone who does not like coffee, this is huge for me. I NEVER like coffee. It only took my boyfriend offering me a sip of his to make me fall in love! No matter where you are, may it be East Nashville, Germantown or Downtown - I may be very biased to this location, go get yourself a Honey Bear Latte! (Honey Bear Bottle or just a great cup of the Iced Latte!) I love the vibe of this coffee shop! Great staff, quality drinks and bites. What more could someone ask for? Thank you Elegy for existing. Thank you for being the best of the best! P.S. - I love their Matcha (the Guava Coconut is 10/10), Matcha Lemonade is also great! They also have great burritos! I loved the Elegy Burrito whoever is making the food deserves all the high fives and fist bumps

Yelp
Solid little coffee shop. Very much fits the post-industrial clean aesthetic of the development it's in. There's lots of really cool drink options. I liked the Speculoos latte I had, it had a nice warmth and richness. I also picked up some beans and they have been decent. This place is pretty pricy though, just as a heads up.
google avatar

Robyn J.

Yelp
What a cute little coffee shop! The staff was so nice, and let me know that their signature item was the honey bear iced latte, so that's what I had! I tried a sample, and when I ordered it I asked for a little less sugar, which they were able to do. It was good, but the full sugar version was a little tastier (no surprise there!). My husband had the lemon latte (hot) and it was unique and delish. They do have food- breakfast burritos, etc, but we didn't try anything on this visit.

Yelp
I placed an online order at Elegy and was pleasantly surprised by the ease, quality and quickness! Online it said it would take 20 minutes for my order to be ready, but it only took 10. Elegy is not dog friendly- even though their Google listing says that they are. Luckily they had tables outside where I could leave my dog as I ran in to grab my coffee and food from the mobile pick up stand. I ordered a vanilla iced latte that was fine, and the basic burrito that was decent but a tad bland. The inside of the cafe was cute but a very influencer approved aesthetic. The staff was super friendly and stamping my Dogtober card, where proceeds this month benefit Wags & Walks doh shelter.

Yelp
Been going to the East location for years even though it's not near my home because I feel Elegy is one of the best coffee shop options in Nashville. This location is just as good as East- staff is always helpful and friendly. Their drink options are great, my husband gets the cold brew and we always take a honey bear to go for home. I'm a matcha person and I appreciate their matcha offerings and specials. It's insanely difficult to find decent matcha in Nash. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Michelle A.

Yelp
We come here at least once a week. It's definitely a great spot for good vibes and good coffee. I'm always greeted with a friendly barista and they're always so kind. There's not a lot of seating space inside unless you get there early in the morning but there's lots of seating outside!
google avatar

Amanda M.

Yelp
Atmosphere, service, cold brew, creations, all a big win! I loved the live plants and the indoor and outdoor seating options. It's by my dentist office so very convenient for me to treat myself, but it's also worth visiting more than every 6 months. It's pretty small inside but also next to the Griff apartments so there is a modern courtyard outside which offers more seating and entertainment space although technically might not be part of the coffeeshop. I definitely want to go back!
google avatar

Samantha J.

Yelp
Friendly staff! Long line on a Saturday morning but moved pretty quickly. My friend and I both got the butterscotch latte and it was very good! Would recommend stopping by here. Cute merch too!
google avatar

Ashley W.

Yelp
Talk about a good time from coffee to the breakfast burrito I will keep coming back for their season menu. This Spring they had a lavender matcha that was just too good.
google avatar

Chelsea F.

Yelp
Great coffee with innovative flavors, helpful staff, and good food! Love this location for working remotely--IF you can find a seat. Close to a 5 star experience, but my one major gripe is that almost every time I come, a staff member's stuff is sitting on one of the 4 tables for customers. I'll be there for a couple hours, and so will the stuff. A staff member will maybe sit there for 5 minutes collectively in that time, if at all. Seating is already so limited, why would you take it away from customers? I'll still come back every now and then, but there are plenty of other spots in the neighborhood where seating isn't an issue made worse by an unwelcoming and avoidable absentminded action.
google avatar

Sherrill T.

Yelp
The Honey Bear is everything it's hyped up to be, I promise you. And yes, I even got a one to go in the cute bear bottle you've seen all over social media. This was my first stop at any of the elegy locations and it didn't disappoint! The baristas were very kind, the menu is quite large, and there is ample seating options both inside and out. There are also quite a few outlets from what I've seen so I'll keep that in mind for my remote work days. While there's quite a bit of construction still going on, you still get a free view of The Griff courtyard and Le Loup/Jacqueline/The Optimist exteriors. I'll be back soon to try another one of their delicious lattes (and yet another to-go honey bear). Check it out if you haven't yet!!
google avatar

Yelp
I basically live here. The staff is incredible and the coffee is unmatched. Also the BURRITOS wow.
google avatar

Lana B.

Yelp
I am so spoiled to be this close to Elegy. Best Coffee. Service is always 10/10, love the staff!! I never want a caramel latte again, miso caramel only. Next time I go Im gonna get the pumpkin honey bear cold brew!! I have to stop myself every time from asking if I can have a cutting from their beautiful plants.
google avatar

Yelp
Elegy is consistently one of the best coffee shops in Nashville. This addition to germantown is a great one to have in the area. The space is small so be prepared for a crowd and lack of parking if you stop in. The specialty drinks here are top tier and change regularly based on the season. But the high quality beans used here for basic coffee is what really makes the difference.
google avatar

Lauren T.

Yelp
Love love love! Food- 9/10: I got recommended the honey bear latte and it tastes really good! Not too sweet and cinnamon adds that little spice to it. Environment- 10/10: The environment was super nice. In this weather it's nice to sit outside and there's plenty of room for seating inside and out. There was also free parking along the street which is nice Service- 10/10: super friendly staff and they helped me picked out my drink. Wi-Fi- 10/10: with the amount of people that was there, the internet worked amazing!
google avatar

Taylor R.

Yelp
This coffee shop is always delicious. The vibes are amazing and the coffee is so good. If you haven't you have to try the bottled cold brew so good. Definitely in my top five coffeeshops in Nashville
google avatar

Brenda A.

Yelp
This was a great staple to the Conversation Hearts Coffee Crawl. They had their cold brew in these cute bear containers. The Love Bug was was a strong cold brew with cinnamon, burnt honey, oat milk, strawberry, and hibiscus. It did the trick and kept me up for hours. The strawberry flavor was a bit tangy but otherwise a very tasty item. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of parking, but there's a paid lot nearby.

Joshua C.

Yelp
I got the baseline burrito. Almost broke my tooth biting into the burrito. coffee was good but the burrito? Maybe an off day for the chef ‍
google avatar

Brooklynn K.

Yelp
Delicious Conversation Hearts Coffee Crawl coffee - puppy love! Only served for 2 weeks in February, but I'm excited to go back and try their other offerings. Cute, small spot tucked away in Germantown. Worked for a little bit & enjoyed the drink. Very quiet and peaceful place.

Yelp
I'm so happy to have an Elegy location in Germantown because Elegy has some of the best coffee in Nashville. We always frequent the East location so I'm glad to see them expanding. Elegy uses/sells Anchorhead coffee beans which are roasted to perfection, it's never burnt or over processed. They really excel at their seasonal lattes and is the main reason to go back all year long to see what they've whipped up. I love the fall/winter latte, the Speculoos which is a creamy biscuity latte. It's worth going back to try all their lattes, hot and iced, because each version will bring out different flavors. All their drinks are prepared consistently and are not overly sugary. They offer a small menu of food items which is nice if you're on the go and need a quick snack. Elegy is a great place to meet up with friends or get some work done. They have inside seating along the walls, which is nice since their East location only offers outdoor seating. The service is fast and friendly. This location is walking distance from my home, so I'll be back at least once a week!

Matt F.

Yelp
We love this place. Beautiful space, though a little tight inside, with a really nice outdoor space. The coffee is delicious and I love that they have simple syrup made from raw sugar!
google avatar

Karin A.

Yelp
This is by far, the best local coffee in Nashville. The Honey Bear cold brew is to DIE for. It's pricey - but every time I go I get a fresh one and the to-go (packaged in a cute plastic bear bottle ). They also offer seasonal drinks (about every two months) that are unique and always delicious. The inside of the establishment has lots of natural lighting and greenery/plants for a relaxing atmosphere. Although a fairly small coffee shop, there are plenty of tables to sit. They are also dog friendly! If there is any negative, it's the parking situation. Situated in Germantown next to the Optimist, there are only a handful of street parking spots and everything else is a paid spot in a paid lot. There's also a lot of construction which makes it difficult to get down there - I think this should be better once the projects are done.
google avatar

Noah C.

Yelp
Elegy offers a number of delightful ways to start your day. From the genuine smiles and easy conversation of the staff to the creative and rich beverages on their menu, there's something to please even the most anti-morning folks. The latte I had was one of the best in recent memory. The breakfast burrito was tasty and filling but not messy or greasy. The space itself is full of warm light, luscious plant life and tasteful decor. Sadly, it was full to bursting with happy customers inside so I had to eat on the sprawling patio outside.
google avatar

Nicole P.

Yelp
When I got to Germantown I immediately was on the hunt for a vegan breakfast burrito--my weakness-- and I found it! Also great coffee, I just wish indoor seating was bigger!
google avatar

Lara R.

Yelp
The iced chai was amazing! By far the best item we had. Very heavily spiced and flavorful! It's so nice to go to place where the chai is not just Tazo poured in a cup. We also had the specialty latte, which was flavored nicely and not too acidic. It matches the quality I've come to expect from Nashville coffee shops, but it certainly isn't anything exceptional in my opinion. We also had the breakfast burrito, which was good and very filling. I like the addition of sweet potatoes. I personally could get two meals out of it but I wasn't super hungry. The staff were lovely. They even poured our extra coffee into a to-go cup because we couldn't finish. The inside is new and bright. I love all of the plants and natural lighting.
google avatar

Jeff T.

Yelp
Outdoor seating is super nice. Coffee and espresso drinks are good, but a bit pricey.
google avatar

Lily W.

Yelp
The cult-like following Elegy coffee has is curious considering how pricey and average the coffee itself is. I think a lot of it is the branding - it's moody and aesthetic, but the coffee itself is just ok. They do use Anchorhead coffee beans which taste pretty good, but overall coffee is not worth, especially not their $6.50 seasonal drinks. On a recent visit when it was not even too busy, my drinks somehow completely disappeared from their system and I only found out after checking in with them after waiting 20 minutes. They made it right away after I asked but didn't really seem that apologetic and it rubbed off on me the wrong way. I never expect to be fully compensated or refunded, but I didn't even get a sorry.
google avatar

Gina L.

Yelp
Wow. Wow. Wow. When I tell you I had the best coffee I have ever had here, I am not lying. Order the HONEY BEAR. It is absolutely freaking delicious. I literally was in shock when I tasted it and everyone else we ordered with was too. We came here 3 out of 4 days in Nashville and not only was the coffee amazing, the staff was also super friendly as well. It's very modern and clean inside and there is spaces to work, even though it is slightly small inside. If the weather is nice; there is an outdoor patio outside that you could sit and work from as well and there are always a lot of dogs out and about (I mean what could possibly be better than great coffee and cute dogs). Highly recommend this place. Only complaint is I wish they had their pastries more available as 2 out of 3 times they didn't have any of the vegan ones.

Chelsea H.

Yelp
Not bad, but nothing special. I find the syrups to be incredibly sweet. I'd rather go to Steadfast or surefire. They also once dissed on helping an animal in need so I don't vibe with that. I don't think the honey bear is all that either.

Callilily L.

Yelp
Consistently good customer service that is friendly and accommodating! The coffee drinks and pastries are delightedly excellent as well. Not a lot of seating but worth visiting earlier in the morning, or simply waiting for a seat inside. Love their Micah's and FRESH pastries like their chocolate croissants and other signature pastries. Seriously yummy and nice atmosphere too.
google avatar

Lisse C.

Yelp
Visiting the area and wanted a good coffee. We went to Elegy based on the yelp rating. I ordered a honey bear which was perfect. Smooth and delicious but not overly sweet. I also ordered The Don breakfast burrito, it was enough for two people. It is a nice medley of flavors in one burrito.
google avatar

Anastasia R.

Yelp
What. The. Bleep. There were fake vines, fake vibes, and really amazing baristas behind the bar. They made experience almost enjoyable, period.
google avatar

Bria L.

Yelp
Great spot located in Germantown. The space is small and cozy, but plenty of inside and outdoor seating. I love the branding and overall aesthetic of the space. The staff is friendly and engaged. The coffee is delicious and they have drink specials throughout the year. I would recommend this location!
google avatar

Nicolette T.

Yelp
Elegy is an awesome coffee shop in the city. It's a rather small, cozy location. So more ideal for small groups. However they have a great, seasonal menu. I have tried many of their drinks and never disappointed. Highly recommend checking this spot!
google avatar

Casey I.

Yelp
So happy to have Elegy in Germantown! They've created a perfectly inviting space, with big windows and plenty of plants. The staff was kind and attentive as always, especially the familiar faces that I saw! I didn't try their food in the new space, but having had good at their OG location i know I'll be back for some here! My oat milk latte was delicious as well!
google avatar

Julia T.

Yelp
Placed in The Griff, Elegy is a modern space which the interior reminds me of the 2014 tumblr American apparel aesthetic. When I first came in, I noticed it was quite small and the seating was very limited. I'm sure they underestimated how many people like to work remotely over coffee and will take up space. I loved the unique all black to-go cup (again reminds me of 2014 tumblr.) I do wish they had parking validation since the only parking available was in a paid parking garage. Especially since I paid for 3 hours in advance just to find out there was limited seating. They close at 1pm which I was not expecting at all. When I first came in, they were playing heavy rock, which isn't the best vibe for coffee. The blonde barista was EXTREMELY NICE! She has a great attitude and I appreciate her enthusiasm. Overall, I like the aesthetic and the coffee was delicious. I got a vanilla latte and it was perfect!

Alicia N.

Yelp
The coffee was really smooth, quite atmosphere, loved the breakfast too. it was a place i would come back to.
google avatar

Karthik D.

Yelp
Have been going here every day since I got to Nashville. Get the exact same thing every morning. Really enjoy their breakfast burrito and their selection of coffees. The ambiance is also incredible. Great lighting and great atmosphere. Service is very quick and very kind. Everyone has been so nice.

Brook M.

Yelp
I only went for the breakfast food, and ordered a egg and cheese sandwich with added bacon. The bacon is the only thing I would consider as edible. The biscuit was clearly frozen ahead of time and super crumbly. I only ate two bites of the biscuit intentionally. Sandwich had fake cheese in it, never even crossed my mind It would be fake goo (called cheese) from what appears to be a nice coffee shop. so I had to scrape that out. Eggs were pre-cooked and over salty, the whole thing was super greasy. The only thing I finished was the 3 1/2 dollar size pieces of bacon. Disappointing for $10
google avatar

Elsa G.

Yelp
I love the Garden Party Latte too much and I'm not a quitter. Came back twice after my last time and coffee was being served in mugs!! Hooray! Flavor on my latte was delicious, as always at the Germantown location. Alright, way to improve with mugs. Can't say the same for East because that was an awful latte I had last week, but I think Germantown is doing well and I'll keep coming back.
google avatar

Steve T.

Yelp
In a league of their own...JUST GO! Insanely delicious! "___bucks" cannot compete with Elegy!
google avatar

Gary I.

Yelp
Super friendly staff with a great environment - stoked to have a solid coffee option with food in Germantown. Will visit again next time I'm in town!
google avatar

Angie N.

Yelp
Super cute new location! It's small, but there's seating around the perimeter and outside! Latte was expensive but delicious, so still worth it.

Isabel R.

Yelp
The honey bear is amazing! I love that it comes with oatmilk! Cute place and very friendly service

Lindsey P.

Yelp
Great coffee! I've been there several times already. The staff is super nice and I love their lattes.

Alex W.

Yelp
Great service and quality with lots of menu options, must recommend if you're in Nashville.
