Google
Element always delivers a great experience. Whether you’re there for dinner or just drinks, the atmosphere is top-notch, and the service is outstanding!

Google
The small plates at Element are perfect for sharing, and every cocktail I've tried has been delicious. It’s a great spot for catching up with friends.

Google
Went on July 4th for dinner. The food was great and reasonably priced. We all devoured everything. I was so busy eating I didn’t get pics. I recommend the smokehouse burger.

Google
Had a date night spur of the moment on a Thursday. It was empty so kinda private. A beautiful bar. Great bartender/waiter. Had the steak and potatoes. The steak was cooked to perfection. Bartender made a specialty drink it was sweet and delicious. Will definitely return.

Google
Come here often for the amazing cocktails. Chis is a fantastic bartender, Makes great cocktails even if you ask for something different with what you like. Food is outstanding! Bar seating concept. Great for craft cocktails and to enjoy food. They also have trivia night, paint night, great music, so much more. Definitely recommend.

Stopped in for brunch at Element and ended up staying for hours. The atmosphere is inviting, the staff is lovely, and the playlist was actually good!

Google
Very cozy, but energy-filled setting, great food, drinks and next door to a club bumping all your favorite tunes!! Great view if downtown Jacksonville 😍 👌🏾 I had the cream cheese wonton and baby!! DELICIOUS!! The chicken quesadilla were bussin' also, with delicious dipping sauces! Can't wait to go again!

Google
Element’s food is consistently impressive. Each dish feels fresh, flavorful, and presented with care. It’s more than just bar food—it’s genuinely good dining.

Yelp
If you're looking for a high-energy, unforgettable night out in Jax, Myth + Element is IT. From the vibe to the staff, everything is on point every time I go--especially Thursday through Saturday (and sometimes even Sunday if you're lucky!). Sierra, the general manager, is incredible--professional, welcoming, and runs the whole place like a well-oiled machine. The bartenders--Mark, Chris, and Jenae--are fast, friendly, and make consistently great drinks all night long. Bottle service? Next level. Special shoutout to Meiah, who brings top-tier energy and amazing service every time--she's a total star. The rest of the bottle girls are just as awesome and keep the party going strong. Also, can't forget Alan in the kitchen for the late-night food (surprisingly good for a club!) and Jordan, the barback who works nonstop behind the scenes to keep things flowing. Honestly, it's more than just a club or bar--it's an experience. Don't miss it!

Yelp
Love the ambiance and vibe ! Drinks are reasonably priced love the indoor/ outdoor environment! Music depends on the night ! A lil disappointed that they don't have more djs playing actual 'house' music- it's all mostly edm - wish they'd do an old school or soul house night every now and then

Yelp
The DJ, Nik at Nite, was great but this place needs better access to water with all of the people drinking and dancing. The only water available was little cone cups from Gatorade coolers which weren't in the same area as the main stage. I just wanted a regular cup of ice water to hold while I was dancing and was unable to get one.

Spencer C.

Yelp
The chick bouncers are way too power hungry, will literally find any reason to kick you out or deny you entry

Kevin P.

Yelp
I wouldn't go here. It's better spots downtown. The food is mediocre and so is the music for it to be a nightclub. It was very empty on a Saturday and the security was turning people away. I'd think they want people inside.
google avatar

Ashley B.

Yelp
Super disappointed with the unprofessional behavior of the "security guards" at this location. Been coming to the Sanctuary Goth night here since it started. A friend of mine, who is also a regular, was approached by security and told he had to "stay away" from another patron there. Someone he had never even encountered. Instead of inquiring further about the situation and asking for evidence, a restraining order/injunction, they automatically believed this girl. Last I checked, it was innocent until proven guilty. When I inquired about what happened to a tall blonde man with gauges, I was told to "calm down" , and that he wasn't told to stay outside, just away from this random person. If this is how a "club" runs their "business" I want no part of it. Such a shame, but 1904 isn't like that, so I guess I'll be sticking with that venue instead. After responding to the business owner of this establishment when they asked to email them these were the disparaging emails that were sent back to me. I would highly recommend not going to this location since it's against Yelp policies to retaliate for posting a review as well as Google which has also been posted there. The owner is just chasing reviews and still insists that I was in the wrong for inquiring to security what happened. I did not, "go off" as he claims. Furthermore, if you read other one star reviews here and Google about this establishment, he has the same reaction towards everyone who posts negatively.

Yelp
My husband and I had the pleasure to meet Maliki this evening. We got there just before they opened but he was very friendly and welcomed us in. I don't think he's ever met a stranger and was a joy to talk to while waiting for our dinner. I suggest trying the ahi tuna as it was on point. After dinner he was kind enough to show us around to see Myrh Nightclub. Simply beautiful. I felt I was in a fairytale. Thank You Maliki for taking the time to be awesome. Food, service and ambiance were perfect for a relaxing Sunday early evening dinner.

Yelp
I'm giving two stars cause I didn't even go inside so I can't judge it on vibes or drinks or music. There's two lines one for 21 up and 18 and up. So be sure you're in the right line Second there's a dress code and my friend was in dress shorts and they did not let him in. So we waited paid for nothing. Just be sure the wear pants on a really hot day in Florida. Shorts on a hot day? Not here folks.

Yelp
The attention to detail at Myth Nightclub is remarkable, from the sleek decor to the impeccable cleanliness. It's clear that the management takes pride in providing a high-quality experience for their guests.

Armand G.

Yelp
Great place if you'd like to be in a sausage fest full of 18 to 30-year-olds. They like to upcharge some people at the door.

Diamond A.

Yelp
THIS IS THE SO CALLED MANAGER , He said his name was something that is wasnt . it was actually "Dom" when we asked someone else(the girl in the picture) . I told him he lied about his name and he said he didnt care .

Yelp
After attending the jax shrimp game my friend and I stopped into Element to grab some food. Their menu is your main bar food and the Cajun ranch wings, cheese fries, and grouper with two sides sounded good to us. We ordered the cream cheese wontons to start and they were delicious. Your typical yummy sweet and sour sauce and the wontons were fried to a nice crisp and nicely stuffed. The Cajun ranch wings were crispy and the flavor of the sauce was great but the sauce was spotty and they weren't tossed that well so we had to ask for more sauce. They were out of the shrimp and fish so we decided to go with plan band order cheese sticks and chicken quesadilla. The cheese sticks looked sloppy and cheese bursted on the more on the outside of the sticks and nothing inside for half of them. The quesadilla was okay- very greasy and not a nice crisp on the outside, but more soggy when handling and eating. The service was initially good from a female bartender (we sat at the bar to hope for faster service as there were about 6-9 people at her bar). She left and there was another bartender that replaced her. He left our drinks empty for long periods of time, forgot sour cream that we asked for, never asked how the food was, forgot my friends drink when he grabbed it to refill- so her and I had to share off my drink. Overall, not a great dining experience and I wouldn't recommend dining here- especially paying 9$ for cheese sticks that look like this.

Yelp
The owner is lying and I never blocked him. I was never rude either I simply wanted my belongings back. He also tried to get me to delete my review :) This establishment is highly unprofessional and doesn't treat its customers with respect. Refer to pictures to see his comment he deleted.

Kaitlyn W.

Yelp
If I can give 0 I would. Rude people. For reference. I'm 18 and went to the club for my spring breaks. Went in as 18 as I would, and got my normal Xs on both hands. Went to the bathroom, so Xs were a little faded but not gone. Bouncer came over and blacked out my friend and I's hands with black sharpie. Our hands are COMPLETELY BLACK. Didn't redo the X. Left right after. We were just dancing too we weren't trying to do anything illegal. Don't recommend staff is rude.
google avatar

Gustavo U.

Yelp
Do yourself a favor and please do not come to this place, they claim to be the best nightclub in Jax but it's NOT. It is a small place crowded with underage people, overpriced drinks and music game lame af
google avatar

Dominique W.

Yelp
I ordered the seafood eggrolls. They were very tasty but a little greasy so I hope it's your cheat meal! The drinks were good and had a little kick to em! The vibe was super chill and the DJ was AMAZING. I didn't stay until the night club side opened but I will definitely be back to check it out. Highly recommend this place.
google avatar

Daniel R.

Yelp
has potential to be a good nightclub in downtown, but the unprofessional, rude, and cocky employees ruin the whole vibe, security harasses anybody and everybody, even if there's no good reason. i guess they get bored or something, lady at the door i didn't catch her name was very nice. everyone else seemed like a jerk. you pay to go in, but once you go in you can't step outside without paying again. They need better management and employees. music was mid.

Pizza B.

Yelp
It depends on when you go The first time My Husband and I went to Myth we had a amazing night to the point I got twisted and puked. The Second time went we were harassed by staff and management All night until we left If you're so Slow you're offering Free entry it's for a reason. ITS A CLUB people throw up The crowd vibe varies by night but the D J's play The same set. For what it worth is Beautiful and great for pictures I'll support local businesses but not this one.

Joe H.

Yelp
I Got the tacos. They were exactly like Taco Bell tacos. And I ended up ordering shots and they came in plastic cups. The ambiance was cool but food and quality was low.

Yelp
Came here on a night for a drink and we waited at the bar and we decided to ask a bartender for 2 margaritas (bar was pretty empty) bartender ignored us! Then a group of non-black ppl came in and they greeted and served them right away! I dont usually make reviews but I had too! DONT COME HERE IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE RACIALLY PROFILED! My husband and I were visiting the town from NY for the week and just wanted to get a drink to celebrate our closing that week as well and this place did not make us feel welcomed! Cant even leave a review on the food and drink because after sitting for about 30min to get their attention it was embarrassing! I usually just ignore racism when I encounter it but when it comes to where I eat I am going to shine more light on these type of places! I could only imagine how we would of been treated if we decided to go to their club (Myth) in the back YUCK! ZERO CLASS! Wish I can leave no star! But heres 1 Star for them serving who they want!

Raylene M.

Yelp
Horrible service with the unprofessional "security." I flew from California to Florida to see my sister since she's stationed around the area and we wanted to come here. They wouldn't allow me in due to a "fake ID" even though I provided a LITERAL birth certificate with my age, name, ect. (I'm 22.) I'll just stick to other clubs/bars.
google avatar

John D.

Yelp
Great nightclub experience. Excellent management. We booked a VIP table for two because we typically just like to drink dance and people watch. The table we were given was outside which was great at the start of the night! We were right behind the house DJs and having a blast but It started to drizzle and the VIP manager found us and immediately put us to an indoor table to enjoy our evening. Guest service on point. I have been to some clubs in other cities that wouldn't have ever checked or cared but the manager here took it upon himself to fix the issue before it even became an issue. Great pricing, great DJs (they had a space for house music and another for top 40/hip hop). Our server was top notch - the kind that was always available but never intrusive. Would highly recommend this place for a night out.
google avatar

Taylor H.

Yelp
If you're tryna dance or have fun this club isn't for you. The music and energy was so bad the two times I went that me and my homegirls couldn't get lit if the bar was handing out free drinks. Only reason we didn't leave is because of the ridiculous cover fee. They have people watching for underage drinking yet those same people ignore the rampant sexual assault at this club. They clearly have their priorities figured out. In summary this club isn't safe for women or anyone trying to actually have fun.
google avatar

Juliet H.

Yelp
Element is giving me... cute bar lounge kissed by a grove of lush trees! The girls and I stopped in for a new happy hour tour stop and were pleased with the aesthetics. Element is striving for the title of a "craft cocktail bar", but they've got work to do to get there, especially with the fierce competition downtown. Our martinis were just ok, until Megan stepped in! Darren, one of the owners and an absolute doll, came over to introduce himself and shared that there were new recipes being rolled out so that explained the inconsistencies ... and the bartender that was reading off a recipe while making drinks behind him as he spoke. The girls and I tried the salmon sliders, which were great, and a Margherita-esque flatbread that kinda' fell flat. Overall, I've got high hopes for Element and the potential they can unlock! There onto something here, it's just in seedling form at the moment. (Get it? ... A nod to the tree theme. Sorry, I had to!)

Yelp
This is the only 18+ club in Jax so expect a younger crowd. The club ain't nothing special so I don't understand the overpriced $15-$25 ticket fees. The prices are for the DJs/artists, but most of them aren't anyone special either. The bar inside the club, I'm not sure how he was even a bar tender because I asked for a black Russian or Moscow mule and said "I don't know what that is". He didn't know how to make drinks and apparently you can only order real drinks in the front bar where they sell food? Bar in the front service is great with actual bartenders and good drinks with decent prices. As for the music I like that they play 90s hip hop and r&b and some Latin music, however they always play a bad remix version and also never fully play the songs out. The best part of this club, as a woman, is Mama Philly in the bathroom. She's honestly saving this whole review from 1 star to 3 stars. She works in the women's bathroom supplying with lotion, hair spray, dry shampoo, perfume, mints/candy, anything and everything a women could need during the night out. She's a real one looking out for fellow women and I can't believe Myth doesn't pay her, she works off TIPS so make sure to bring some cash for Mama Philly!

Yelp
Wow. We love this place! Food is amazing. Drinks are incredible. Cesar KNOWS how to make the beat drinks! You will not be disappointed.

Yelp
I ordered from UberEats. It was late but they were still accepting orders. Mine included shrimp tacos, wings and truffle fries. The tacos has nothing on them but a PIECE of lettuce, shredded cheddar and two shrimp that looked as if they were old. I didn't get the wings at all and the fries were horrible. I called to discuss and the person immediately offers a refund. I wanted food lol. She said they would remake and deliver. I then received a call from Uber Eats, 30 minutes later, 90 minutes from my initial order, to tell me that they will not deliver the food. Sigh. I'm still hungry

Yelp
I think this place is best for those who aren't too picky. Not that the menu is weird or anything, but it's adventurous enough that if you don't like sauces, you might be screwed. This is definitely a spot to hang out and take advantage of the happy hour and then order a late night dinner. They have a great selection of liquor and a smaller selection of beers on tap. It's all street parking, so plan accordingly. There's also only a few booths inside, but there is outdoor seating available when weather permits. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak flatbread, my husband got the house salad, and my kids split a plate of the Truffle fries. I really enjoyed the cheesesteak and was very surprised by the size. I didn't expect it to be so big. My only complaint was that they don't put the mayo on the bread, but serve it in small packs on the side. I was able to get through 80% of the sandwich, and would definitely order it again. Husband enjoyed his salad. He said it was good, but not really memorable. It came with cucumbers, tomatoes, and cheese. The truffle fries were also good, and reminded me of Smash Fries (in the best way). I'd definitely order those things we can. I'm taking the leftovers home and hoping they reheat well. TL; DR: can't speak on the cocktails, despite stopping in during Happy Hour (from 4-9 pm), but the food was good. Give it a try, if you're looking for food and drinks while you're in the area.

Yelp
This club is absolutely the worst thing I've seen happen to Florida. Disgusting, very mean bouncers, horrible place to go I would not recommend to ANYONE!!!!!!!!!! Once my husband and I got in there it was very small and horrible atmosphere, will not be recommending to ANYONE!

Yelp
I reached out to the owner via twitter the day after our February 28 visit. As of March 28, I have not received a response. I was reaching out to see if our visit was out of the ordinary and to give this small local business an opportunity to address the deficiencies in our visit. With this as the delay, please enjoy this review of Element Bistro Bar and Lounge. As someone who really enjoys supporting local business and gastronomy in general, I was elated to discover this newer bistro and to enjoy what they had to offer. Prior to dining here I checked out their website which really sold me. However, my real-world experience was anything but awesome. I should have known there were issues when I tried calling them from 5-6pm on the day of our visit and the phone rang busy the entire time. I even went so far as to call their number for the club and although this number was answered the gentleman that answered told me I needed to call the other number even after I told him I was calling for almost an hour and just wanted to know the chef's daily special. (After visiting, the distance between the spaces is literally separated by a door). We arrive at 6:40pm. No one greets us as we stand at the door. There is a bartender and 2 customers sitting in at the far end of the bar in the corner. After waiting what seemed like an eternity in such a small space while being ignored, I approached the bar and asked if they were open for dinner. The bartender said yes and walked away. We self-seated at one of the 2 booths at 6:42pm. At 6:50pm we are greeted by the bartender. We ask about happy hour and are told the craft cocktails are $5 and most everything else is on sale too, so we order craft cocktails as we are still hoping to have this phenomenal bistro experience by chef, John Rodriguez. One of the craft cocktails we order they cannot make as they are out of an ingredient, so we choose another. Two customers come in and immediately sit at the bar, they order and their drinks are served within 2 minutes. At 7:02pm one of our craft cocktails is served. The bartender has forgotten what we ordered for the 2nd drink. It's a busy bar with their 4 customers and who could expect a bartender to remember so many drink orders? At 7:07pm, 17 minutes after ordering, we have our cocktails...cheers! The drinks are decent, and we still have hope for this place even though the service has been Walmart like to this point. At 7:08pm the bartender approaches our table. He does ask about the drinks, which are good enough. We are disappointed to learn that there is no daily chef special today. I had admired the rolls through my visit to the website, and attempt to order them. Unfortunately, no rolls. Apparently, they are out of many things on Tuesdays. It would have been great to know this in advance, like perhaps had I only tried to call first. At 7:09pm the bartender left with orders for salad (first course), flatbread (second course) and entrees. 24 minutes after ordering, at 7:33pm, the salad and one of the entrees (duck) are served. We have no silverware and must request it. At 7:35pm we are served the flatbread, silverware and napkins. We try waiting for the short rib entree and decide to start eating at 7:40pm. The deconstructed Caesar is ok. The menu really sells it, but it was basically a wedge salad made from romaine but missing some of the ingredients from the menu description. The duck was very good, although slightly overcooked. There is still hope for this place. The sides are average. The flatbread is what I would expect for bar food. At 7:45pm I approach the bar to ask about the short rib entree. It seems the bartender forgot this item, but he doesn't acknowledge that detail. He runs off to the kitchen after telling me it will be right out. At 7:57pm, 48 minutes after ordering, the short rib entree is served. It is a huge chunk of beef with heavy seasoning. It is quite good, although I needed a steak knife to cut through it. The portion size is huge, potentially because the kitchen forgot to make it and was compensating as I doubt it is usually this large. We order desserts at 8:22pm. I get up and go to the bathroom and see the desserts sitting in the window for the kitchen at 8:25pm. Our desserts are served at 8:40pm. The peanut butter pie is quite good. I would order it again. The smores lava cake was not for me. The graham cracker cake was dry and instead of the warm runny lava center, there was a firm cold lump of chocolate. There was trivia during part of the time we were there. We participated along with the 10-12 other customers, many of who just came for the trivia. A rather motley crew, but that's the part of life I enjoy. We won a free drink, so that was kinda fun. We request the check. It is incorrect. The drinks are not properly discounted. The bartender corrects this. We tip generously and leave. Likelihood of returning = very low.

Yelp
If youvare staying downtown I WOULD NOT go here.. They call it a Bistro. You go in and they have "menus" framed on the wall meaning this is what you should order or could order, but wait there is more deception from this place. They should have blackout nights on what days you can use the "Bistro" menu .. Hey we have a fiscade menu and business, but "YOU cannot" use the menu tonight because YOU can "only" order happy hour bar food even though they have this "chef special" blinking menu too BUT hell no you can't order off that as well.. Forget Bistro!!! Mind you this well before 8:30 PM. The service folks told me - "we only use the happy hour menu during these hours" meaning lazy cooks, workers, and a burger is too hard to cook for you!.. So, "stick with the non healthy "Bistro fake" food for now"" They have zero consistency

Payton B.

Yelp
If I could give it negative stars I would. My friends and I thought we would try it out, awful music, awful food. 0/10

Yelp
I've been here quite a few times. It's really hit or miss for me. 50% of the time I go there is something major that missed up my night (ex. I've gotten horrible sick from their liquor twice so bad I had to leave an hour after getting there, horrible music). Then the other half of the time I have a bomb ass time. So many young kids there under 21. It's got a cool look. Not very big and gets packed fast. The bartenders that work there are awesome. Hands down. But it's the other environmental factors are what can sometimes work against it.

Yelp
My first time going to Myth night club was great back in late 2017. The music was nice and atmosphere was different, I had a good time. When I saw they had a Groupon I thought it was really cool so I bought it it was available for a Friday or Saturday night. A few months ago a group of friends and I decided to go out. Saw they had a Groupon listed for Friday nights now and we got that. We all went out and they told us they couldn't accept it because they had a special event going on. We payed the cover charge to get in. A few weeks later my good friend and I tried to go back on a Friday night with the Groupon my friend bought from before and they said they couldn't accept it again. This time we spoke our minds and the new owners tried to haggle by getting us to return the Groupon and getting a discount on the cover charge. We refused and they let us use hers. Yesterday I called ahead before leaving the house to see if they would accept my Groupon for the night. I was told no because a special event is going on. I was then sent a link that shows all the nights with special events. Something told me to check the dates and days. I realized they have special events listed every Friday night for the next two months. I find this sneaky and deceiving to list those events when your Groupon is supposed to be valid. It makes me not even want to spend my money there. ***Following up here*** I spoke with Jon on the phone where he tried explaining the reasoning with the Groupon. He was argumentative and continuously spoke over me. He explained that they have special events on Fridays and can't let people in for free then started listing numbers for what he has to pay for the entertainment. It came off very desperate. He then started listing off days they do free things. When asked why he would have Fridays listed on there if those are the special event nights he tried to tell me I need read the Groupon and go to the website to see when the events are. The conversation continued and we got nowhere. He recapped our conversation then asked me if I was willing to remove this review. I said no so he told me not to come back to his establishment and he was going to make sure I'm banned. I was hardly able to get my point across and the way our conversation went makes me sad. If anyone else has an experience like this I hope you are able to make some sort of progress with management.

Yelp
This is a really fun club to go to the first Wednesday of every month! For artwalk they do a silent disco that's free if you sign up online and arrive earlier than 10pm. Every Wednesday they have ladies night specials that are honestly the best in Jacksonville. The crowd it attracts is pretty young since it is one of the few 18+ clubs in Jax. I always have a great time here! The DJs they bring in are usually good and get everyone dancing.
google avatar

Samantha M.

Yelp
I am completely upset with my experience last night. Two days before, I reserved for a free ticket and actually got my email confirmation. It says that the event is free until 11. Me and my girl got to the venue to discover a line being held until 11 which gives you no other choice but to pay anyway. I showed my free ticket and the rude staff at the door said "sorry only till 11- 10 bucks each" when it was 11:07 pm! Wanna get scammed? Go to Myth NightClub Some advice, don't promote a free event when you don't allow in any people who actually got free tickets.

Jayden R.

Yelp
Been a couple times just to see if I've come on a bad night. However me and my friends have all had negative experiences. Our most recent one was having most the girls in our group groped by some man. Bouncers paid no mind and even had gotten angry at my friends. This and the horrible music, I've read reviews already, and to say world class djs is a stretch for a lil club in jax. Even drunk the place was barely fun and I'm glad to be over it.

Yelp
I stopped in after the Trump rally to have a bite to eat and watch the foot traffic of folks..the bartender recommended the goat cheese potatoes, and yall listen..eat them..SO good!! I also had the bbq pulled pork sliders and they were ok..I have been consistently impressed with the service here, the staff seems to really care about the products that they have coming out, and that you are enjoying yourself!

Yelp
Thanks to the Crawler this was my first visit. I found the decor inviting and was pleased to see a live performance on stage on a Thursday. I ordered the Chicken Flatbread which must of been delicious because before I took knowledge I had downed it. There Mojitos were very refreshing and priced well for the area. We had a tour of the nightclub was I was very excited to see the set up. It was tastefully done and I could see a nice corporate party or wedding at that space.I am planning on returning soon to try other items on the menu at Element.

Yelp
Update: Mae Mae the bartender alone is the reason I'm here again twice this month. Fries are still great. Their happy hour specials are amazing. The Dj is on his job tonight! Try their wings and truffle fries! Well staffed now. Glad I came back

Yelp
Awesome addition to downtown. There are a few things that could be improved. I appreciate trying to fit the menu on a single page, but the font is so small is virtually impossible to read in the low lighting at night. I only had cocktails and sliders so I can't really review the dinner menu but the sliders I had were great. I would recommend using plates instead of baskets with sheets to serve. It's a classy place and even sliders should be served on a plate in my opinion. Supporting local business is so important, especially when pumping up the downtown scene which is nonexistent after 6PM. I'm glad there is another dining option that's open late. When you enter there is a beautiful L shaped bat that seats about 20. There are huge tvs and a giant projector. This would be a great place to watch jags away games on Sunday's. Overall a very laid back and friendly atmosphere. I'll definitely come back to try their numerous paninis. 5/5

Yelp
If I could give 0 stars, I would. I purchased a Groupon and attempted to use it twice. About a month ago, my wife and drove downtown to eat there. We tried to go in and were stopped at the door and told "it is tatoo night and we needed to pay $10 each to enter." Uh, no way! We just said we would come back another night. We drove back Thursday, May 24, 2018 and were met at the door by the cook who said, "We aren't serving anyone because I had a death in the family." (I sympathized, but that's no reason to close a restaurant, and why were you at the restaurant if there were a death in the family?) This next part is the worst: She then said, "We are having an Urban Group of African Americans come in 30 minutes and are unable to serve you." This restaurant needs to be shut down immediately for racial profiling and discrimination!

Yelp
Element bistro not only met our expectations but exceeded them. The atmosphere here around 7pm was laid back and inviting. Cesar our/the bartender has truly mastered and earned the title of mixologist. He was friendly and knowledgeable. We had the truffle fries, a BBQ chicken flatbread and the s'mores molten lava cake. All which were fantastic. The serving size and taste were perfect. Later that evening we did attend the Friday night thrive at the club nextdoor where good vibes kept flowing. Will absolutely be back and cannot speak more highly of this downtown Jacksonville location.

Yelp
Twice this has happened to me - me and my friends got to tickets that said "free entry 10-10:30." We got there at 9 and they didn't start letting people in until 10:50. Me and my friends left because Myth nightclub is not worth paying $20, not $10, not even $5. Myth is ridiculous. They are overpriced and they lie to their trick their customs into paying more for BAD music, HORRIBLE staff, and a GROSS environment. Save your money and don't go to Myth.

Yelp
My husband and I went here for a dinner date with a Groupon I had purchased tonight (9/3). We showed up right at 6, and it was pretty empty. The floors and booths were all clean, and they had 3 different tv's playing different sports. The bartender was very nice- he took our orders and got us ice waters right away. I had the shrimp tacos, and my husband ordered the steak tips. My shrimp tacos were delicious! The taco shells were just flour tortillas that were cold/room-temp, but the shrimp had a caramelized kind-of crust and were sauteed with garlic butter. They were delicious! It came with pico de gailo, bang bang sauce, and sour cream. Really glad I ordered that bang bang sauce on the side, because it was waaaay too hot for my baby mouth. My husband said his steak was very tasty, but he missed the fact that it didn't have a grilled taste. The loaded mashed potatoes had crispy browned cheese on top, so my husband gave it two thumbs up. The bartender tonight was very quick with bringing us the check and was very nice! I wish I knew remembered his name, but I hope the owner sees this and gives him a pat on the back. Bathroom review: Clean, one-room bathroom. Plenty of toilet paper, soap, and paper towels. Hope to come here again soon! My husband wants to try their 1/3 lb. burgers. I think they would do better if they separated the nightclub more from their dining establishment.

Yelp
Stopped in to check this place out while my sister was in town. We ordered the blue cheese flatbread, tuna tartare, and fire sliders off the small plates menu. For beverages I had the element's garden and my sister had a classic gin julep. The place was empty when we walked in right before 4pm. There were only employees at the bar who ended up dispersing when we sat down. The front area has a large bar that seats 19 and two booths that seat 4 each. There are three flat screens above the bar and a decent cocktail menu. The tuna tartare had a great flavor, it reminded me of poke and I really enjoyed the flat crisp crackers that accompanied the dish. The tartare was the star of the night for me! The blue cheese flatbread was okay but not great. I was not a fan of the crust and although the toppings were good, the crust brought the flavor down and I would not order it again. The firesliders were not great and lacked the heat I was hoping for in a dish with "fire" in the name. The meat was cooked medium but lacked seasoning and that just compounded the fact that I was also wanting a kick in each bite. They had happy hour from 4pm-9pm and the element's garden was on special for $5 which was great. They also had $3 domestics on happy hour. Overall, a good place to go for happy hour drinks and I will probably head back to try out some of the other food as they work out their kinks.

Yelp
After catching a buzz dancing in Myth, we grabbed a high top at element and ordered the truffle fries and colas. The truffle gave the fries a delicious flavor. The fries were perfectly crisp . Would definitely go again for one of their sandwiches.

Yelp
It took forever to get my food, but the chicken wings weren't that bad. I didn't get pictures but the French fries were great

Yelp
My fiancé and I went early on Friday (around 6pm) so we sat at the bar. The club wasn't opened as yet. Still, they had a reggae singer and great drink specials that went from 3pm to 9pm. We had the wings. They were extremely flavorful. Best wings that we've had in Jacksonville so far. I deducted one star for the margarita flatbread because it was missing its signature, the basil. So technically, it was tomato flatbread. It also could have used more flavor. Was a bit bland. But besides that, we also ordered mushroom sliders. They were awesome! The bartenders were attentive. Not too big on conversation though. But besides that, they did their job.
