Henderson Bar Gets a Second Chance with New Owners - Eater Vegas

"Elephant Bar now has a new owner. The restaurant that filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last October is now opened by Las Vegas restaurateur Billy Richardson and his Gen3 Hospitality, which also has The Barrymore at the Royal Resort, Flour & Barley and Haute Doggery at the Linq Promenade, Holsteins at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, and more. He tells the Las Vegas Review-Journal that he bought the chain last month, and plans to revamp the restaurant’s wall coverings and paint. The menu, which include dishes such as a pistachio crusted salmon salad, shrimp and chicken jambalaya, caramelized pear and Gorgonzola burger, and a butter cake, remains the same." - Susan Stapleton

Fantastic food and service. Location is great too just go to Hoover Dam and on the way back to the strip. Food was amazing. Tried the coconut shrimp and the lettuce wrap with creme Burlee. My main dish were the tacos. Beef and chicken with Asian slaw. Amazing. Will come back again.

Great location next to the casino on a nice strip mall street. Great outdoor seating. Menu has a great variety of food options whatever you're in the mood for. Waiter was new and seemed a bit overwhelmed so service wasn't outstanding but got the job done. Main courses were good. The appetizer sampler was a bit cold and not that great.

If i'm ever near one I will be going in 100%. When they say they make everything from scratch they aren't joking, you can taste it in the food and how the flavor can be tasted by every taste bud. We tried almost everything on the menu between everyone in my group for 3 days in a row. Even the food that was eh tasted good, most of the food And dessert 🍰 was amazing. If your ever in Las Vegas, more like Henderson, you have to try it. The crew was great, we had jasmine twice and she rocked. From the pan seared Ahi to the pistachio-oreo crusted cheese cake it was a great experience.

The Elephant restaurant has a great atmosphere, friendly staff and most importantly good food. This is a non Halal place obviously, but there is good fish options. Water is complimentary (simple but so important). Would recommend it for anyone staying at the Green Valley Ranch in Vegas.

The food was ok. I'm a really good cook so I set restaurants to a higher standard. The service was a bit slow the night I was there. It was a Friday night...I had lamb shank.
