Went here on a Friday night. It was very lively. I was surprised to see so many people. The atmosphere was great. The food is very delicious and the spice was all there. Definitely be careful on with the spice level, I got a three. I’m usually OK but it did burn a little bit, but I loved every bite! The garlic naan was so moist & crisp at the same time 10/10

If it wasn't along the service Rd, you would say you found a hole in the wall gem! Authentic Indian cuisine and executed very well. I had the platter which was a great combo of meat, was it cooked well done, but still soft and juicy. Garlic naan was soft and crispy too. Rice, fluffy and flavorful. Definitely make a trip here!

Awesome place! The the food is delicious and the atmosphere has a relaxed vibe. The lunch portions are perfectly sized leaving you perfectly satisfied without being too heavy. The only thing better than the food was the service I got from Allen, quick and attentive. Will def be coming back!

My husband and I visited Dallas and found such a fantastic, beautiful Elephant Indian Bar and Grill restaurant! I absolutely loved the delicious food and wonderful atmosphere. All stuff was very friendly and helpful. Nice and clean restaurant. Definitely will be back. Highly recommend!!!

What a hidden gem on the 75 service road The food was great. We chose off the Lunch menu and the portion for price was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

Horrible. Ordered Gobi 65 and Kadai Chicken gravy. Worst dish ever eaten in my lifetime. Gobi 65 is surely not supposed to look like what I was served. Kadai chicken gravy was nothing but uncooked tomato gravy and lots of raw capsicum. Post eating had a weird puke sensation. Can never forget how it made me feel.

This place was so damn great. My bf and I went there and shared the chicken Tikka, veggie samosas, had the mango lassi's, had some butter naan. It was so good. The staff was great and the ambiance, you could tell, would be absolutely beautiful at night.

We had an absolutely amazing meal here! The soup was rich and flavorful, the lamb chops were perfectly cooked and tender, and the garlic naan was fresh, fluffy, and packed with flavor. But the real star? The butter sauce—it was unbelievably delicious and paired perfectly with everything. Hands down, this is the best Indian food we’ve had in Dallas. The flavors were authentic, the service was great, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

I grabbed lunch here with a friend and it's a hidden gem! Now, I have to say, I wasn't (and still am not) super familiar with traditional Indian cuisine, but I am familiar with good chicken and this is exactly that! The tandoori bone-in chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and the spices and flavor were excellent. I got it with a side of rice and cooling raita sauce, with were great complements to the chicken. The service was great, and they were very patient with me given my lack of familiarity with most of the menu items and seemingly unending list of questions. It's a pretty intimate atmosphere as well, it'd be a great spot for date night!

A small but mighty little restaurant, Elephant Indian always has attentive service, fresh food, and speedy delivery. Don't let the location throw you off. I have eaten here many times but never wanted to give away my little spot. I'm gate keeping no more. I had the lunch special which comes with a generous soup, naan, an entree, rice, vegetable and a dessert for $16.95. I'm a sucker for pappadam so I had to add that in. There were so many things I wanted to get, but that is for another day.

The food was Great very fresh and full of flavor. It is a good drive from North Richland Hills, but worth the drive. I enjoyed the lamb best, my kids loved the butter chicken and curry chicken. My wife had the vegetarian plate, and love it. Ever reasonable price.

I've only ordered for pick up / delivery here and the food has always been amazing. Lamb biryani is my personal favorite and the spice level is no joke. The owner was really friendly and nice when we came in for pickup order. The restaurant is cozy. We will definitely be back.

Such a great place. It's best to order multiple things and share as usual. The service was very friendly and the server was quite attentive. It's a small but comfortable setting. Well decorated. Would definitely go again!

I visited here with friends on Saturday evening. We found the menu confusing and the servers confused when bringing the food. We're not sure if we got what we ordered including spice levels. We were a large party and they allowed us to pay separately which was nice but i ended up the last person paying and paid for something that wasn't mine. Proved paper tickets bright to the table would eliminate this. I found the food pretty good but even 2 stars was pretty spicy. This wasn't my favorite Indian food experience, but I'd still give it another chance.

Absolutely delicious Indian entrees at this place. The lamb vindaloo was unbelievably tasty and truly delightful to eat. The butter chicken was great too. Service was quick & solid, and though it felt like our waiter skipped over the potential for a dessert, I have no complaints here. The place itself is cozy with not too much seating. I thought it was a great vibe for a casual date night. As much as I loved the entrees, I will say that the lentil soup wasn't my favorite. I don't know if it's just the nature of the dish or the way they made it specifically, but it wasn't really a lentil bean soup, more of a lentil puree. I generally hope for more thickness in lentil soups, so this one being more brothy wasn't really my vibe. But, the entrees more than made up for a 'just decent' appetizer.

Very beautiful and good vibes and place. Very nice staff. Just positive energy abounding. Clean food. And clearly cared about quality. Taste was solid. Wanted to try more of the menu.

I ordered takeout from Elephant Indian Bar and Grill and got the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. Overall, I was pleased with my meal and felt that the chicken tikka masala was very flavorful and better than many other places I've tried. The garlic naan was good, but not great. The atmosphere when I went inside had a good vibe. It is worth noting that it is next to a motel and someone tried to sell me a bike as I was picking up my order.

Had a great lunch here. We ordered chole batoore and aloo samosas for appetizers. Then we had the apricot chicken and xacuti with paneer. All were excellent, beautifully seasoned and served piping hot. Finished with a dish of gulab jamun. Definitely coming here again and so pleased to welcome an Indo restaurant to Oak Cliff!! Elephant Indian Bar & Grill is a delightful find. I was pleasantly surprised by not only the delicious food but also the inviting, relaxed atmosphere. The interior is thoughtfully designed, feeling both cozy and modern, which makes it a fantastic setting for a casual gathering. You absolutely must try the food--specifically, the incredible tandoori chicken wings! They were seasoned and cooked wonderfully and tasted perfect. The garlic naan bread was some of the best I have had since being in Fort Worth.

Attention Dallas: you no longer have to travel to Irving for top notch Indian food. Elephant Indian Bar & Grill is excellent! We had the onion pakora, chicken samosas, tandoori chicken, and coconut chicken...wow, sounds like a lot of chicken, but never mind that. Everything was excellent! We ordered the entree at spice level 3/5 and it was a bit spicy for my daughter, but pretty spot on for me. If you are at all timid, go lower. The naan was great too. I wish the raita was a bit tangier, but that was the only minor disappointment. They've done a great job of turning a former diner into a chic and comfortable restaurant. They don't appear to serve alcohol, but I saw others bring in wine. Yum!

This small restaurant offers free parking on the parking lot shared with The Quality Inn and Suites next door. Plenty of free parking spaces were available at noon on a Monday. They have outside tables but no one was using them. Traffic noise and fumes from Central Expressway ruin any chance of sitting on their patio. Inside is clean, quiet and calm. Two of us met there to try lunch. We could choose our own table or booth. Menu offers quite a variety of Indian dishes. We tried two different combinations from the Thali menu. Costs were $13.95 and $15.95. You choose the protein. Lamb or chicken available for most Thali combos. Each combo includes a nicely flavored lentil soup. We both enjoyed the included lentil soups which had a mild mixture of spices and flavors. The Thali combos came with plenty of Naan bread on the side. We both chose garlic Naan which was served warm and perfectly baked. Our combos came on round SS serving trays with each course in a small bowl. The requisite rice, veggy curry, entree choice, fried onions, and rice pudding dessert completed the lunch combo. We found our choices flavorful and perfect portions for lunch. All foods were served at proper temperature and had enough protein for the price. Our total bill for lunch for two (without drinks) came to $29.90 plus $2.47 tax. The date was August 21, 2025. In summary the other 5 stars reviews are spot on. We didn't check out the restrooms. This is a very good casual Indian food restaurant with casual ambiance, good service, and delicious food. Worthy of repeat visits.

Charming little place with fabulous food, reasonable prices, generous portions, and cordial, attentive staff. Already a big favorite of mine. Conveniently at the corner of Fitzhugh and N.Central. Yummm

This place was fantastic! Super impressed especially since they haven't even been open for a year. On a Sunday night we were sat immediately and it wasn't too busy, but they were getting a lot of to go orders. They took our order right away and the food also came out very quickly. Our server was very helpful with recommendations and describing the items to us. I also liked that you are able to choose a spice level to customize each dish. My butter chicken was full of flavor and a great portion. It's a much more casual place but still very nice inside. This will definitely be our go to Indian in Dallas from now on and I can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

This is an absolute gem on the busy traffic of the location it's on, you need to go around th La La Cafe for the parking spots and there are plenty but there is also a right turn into the place. That's it about the location, now for the fooood, I got nothing but to say an absolutely tasty items, Pakora and Chole Bhatura, that was so very well packed... I have never had Halwa with it before, that too was tasty. Just a thought, why wasn't there onions and lemon slices with it? But I am really going to be coming back. I want to wish you all the success in this location.

Chicken Tiki Masala, Aloo Gobi and garlic Naan were excellent. This will be our next go to for Indian food from now on. Cute and cozy restaurant too.

Solid Indian food near downtown dallas? Yes, please! Elephant Indian is a newcomer to dallas located near 75 and Fitzhugh. Parking can be tricky but the staff told us all the parking around the property (even the stuff that says hotel guests only) is shared by the restaurant. The food and service are great. We got the chicken 65 and gobi 65 to start. Both were tasty and not over breaded like they often can be. Next we got the kofta curry and the chicken tikka masala as well as some tandoori chicken wings. All the dishes were on point and flavored perfectly. Portions were plenty big and we had plenty of leftovers. The wings were super flavorful but I'd say the star of the evening were the gobi and chicken 65. Both were delicious and I'd definitely recommend getting those if you are into some flavorful chicken and cauliflower! All in all a great addition to the dallas Indian dining scene.

Stopped by Elephant Indian Bar & Grill and was pleasantly surprised by both the food and the relaxed, inviting atmosphere. The interior is cozy but modern, and it's a great place for a casual lunch or dinner with friends. We started with the hummus and garlic naan, which I highly recommend. The hummus was smooth and creamy, and the fresh cilantro on top really made it pop -- adding a refreshing, leafy flavor that balanced the richness nicely. The garlic naan was warm, soft, and had just the right crisp all around. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, and one cool feature was being able to choose your spice level. I went with a 3 out of 5, and it was the perfect amount of heat--enough to warm you up but not overpowering. The sauce was creamy and flavorful, though I would've liked a better chicken-to-sauce ratio. Either more chunks of chicken or a little less sauce would've balanced it out better. The rice with peas was cooked well and paired nicely with the curry, though it wasn't anything standout on its own. Service was friendly, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed without being too intrusive. I'd definitely return--especially for that hummus and naan combo!

We ordered the Butter Chicken Masala and the menu clearly does not indicate that there are nuts in the sauce base. My sister has a nut allergy and noticed after consuming the food that she was having a reaction. I brought this up to the waiter and he proceed to say "you need to ask about your own allergies". Which is frankly insane to say to the customer who is experiencing the ALLERGIC REACTION. It isn't indicated anywhere in the menu, which should be a standard, and then deflecting the blame onto the customer..... the waiter didn't do anything to fix this situation lol Would not recommend anyone coming here.

So... Ignore the fact that it used to be a diner attached to a two/three star motel. Ignore the fact that you have to still park in said motel parking lot to access the restaurant. Also ignore the fact that inside, despite a good refurbishment and Indian decor, the booths and countertop are still reminiscent of a diner. Bottom line, the food is excellent. Great portion size, varied menu, and the staff is super attentive and friendly. Probably some of the best butter chicken we've had. I also ordered the vindaloo and while I asked for a five spice level, I probably could've gone hotter if they were able. Regardless, this is definitely one to visit and if you live nearby or in the neighborhood, absolutely worth a stop. We went there following a musical near Fair Park and it was less than a 10 minute drive. Great central and north Indian food.

Yes they are on uber, It is veg, and non veg friendly, and Gluten free options, no it's not Jain friendly. Its good Indian food, beside the Samosa is not one of the best spots for Samosa. There is spice level, so yes they can make it spicy. On the app, you can ask without halwa but they won't substitute with something else. Just a heads up this is a hit or miss spot. Depending on the day and time.

New restaurant and I am so happy it's in my neighborhood. Ordered Tikka Masala Fantastic!! Don't stress about parking. Just park on the back. Shared parking lot.

Decent flavor super small portions on uber eats. I got 3 pieces of chicken in a dish I paid $18 for, incredibly disappointed and still hungry. Nothing to write home about.

Great new neighborhood spot! Food came out fast and it was great quality. I didn't realize the butter punjab had bone in the chicken. I'd order regular butter chicken next time. I learned later both dishes use the same delicious sauce. The interior was clean and would definitely dine in again.

I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, and it was hands down one of the best I've ever had--and that's saying something because I've had the original in Glasgow, Scotland, where the dish was created! The sauce was velvety, perfectly spiced, and packed with deep, smoky flavors from the tandoori-grilled chicken. Paired with their Onion Kulcha, a warm, soft bread stuffed with seasoned onions and herbs, it was pure perfection. The combination of flavors was unreal! Beyond the incredible food, the hospitality here is first-class. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and genuinely passionate about their food and guests. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and it makes the dining experience even better. Dallas is lucky to have a spot like this. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and go--you won't be disappointed!

I was really craving Indian food and finally gave this spot a try. We ordered chicken tikka and naan for delivery. The food arrived warm, which was a good start, but unfortunately the chicken itself was quite dry and the portion surprisingly small. We thought we ordered a single side of rice but ended up receiving two--no complaints there, though it was a bit confusing. The highlight was definitely the masala sauce--rich, flavorful, and everything you'd hope for. If only the chicken had matched that quality, this could've been a winner. Overall: Great sauce, underwhelming chicken, and small portions. Might give it another shot, but not rushing back.

Super flavorful and nicely spicy food here. Love how low keyed the place is and how fairly priced all the meals are. The chili momos were outstanding. Loved the biryani with goat and lamb, and the tandoori chicken wings were perfect. Would highly recommend if you like Indian food or super spicy food. Yummy!

The food was excellent! We ordered the coconut curry chicken and the elephant platter and both exceeded our expectations. The service was fast and all the staff were very kind and accommodating. The space is limited so come in early for a spot. And prepare to be impressed.

A great option for Indian food in the Knox/Henderson & uptown area! We are glad to have an Indian restaurant in the neighborhood finally!! The service was great, they were friendly and attentive. The seating is plenty and nice, there is also an outdoor patio. Plenty of parking on the side or around back.

The service was very friendly and efficient and the food had great flavor! We love Indian food and this spot offered the classic dishes you'd expect done at a high quality. The butter and garlic naan were both flavorful and perfectly complemented the aloo goobi and chicken tikka masala. I do wish the chicken tikka masala came as a slightly larger portion with more meat. The restaurant was clean and new.

I haven't been in the actual restaurant, ordered delivery last night, so I can only comment on the food and a little bit on service. The food was GREAT!!! I can't tell you how happy we are that there is finally a reasonably priced Indian restaurant nearby! When we crave it it's always like $100 and an hour delivery from the suburbs, but no more! I only ordered two items and they were so good that I felt the need to write a review! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu. For the prices, the portions are generous, and they don't skimp on the proteins! I think they may be a bit too cautious about it the heat levels. I chose four out of five spice level for the vindaloo, and it was pretty mild. So keep this in mind when ordering if you're looking for that OTT level of heat. It's also very nice that they do a lot of traditional dishes with vegetables but I would absolutely love it if paneer was an option too. On that note, I get the feeling that they would accommodate my request for paneer based on how good the service seemed. I requested an extra sauce or two to try out and they included some. I also liked that the receipt showed the order-taker/packer's full name, this shows pride and accountability for their work. I highly recommend!!!

OMGWOW! I think this is what Indian food is supposed to taste like-- fresh, flavorful, and complex! There's so much which sounds amazing on the menu, it's hard to decide! Their Butter Chicken was probably the best we've ever had. Their sauce was smooth, silky, and flawless. The waiter informed us it's authentically made with bone-in dark meat, as opposed to the white meat chunks Americanized Indian food has made commonplace. Go for the dark meat and you won't be disappointed! Years ago, a colleague made homemade samosas for a potluck at work and we've never had such good samosas since. This has now been corrected! Our order of samosas were soft, just crunchy enough, perfectly spiced, and so, so good! It was easy to tell they had been carefully hand formed and freshly fried. The rest of our meal (entrees, appetizers, naan) was amazing. Our waiter was knowledgeable and helped us navigate the extensive menu, steering us in delicious directions. We also loved how the cozy, eccentric, ambiance of Buzzbrews still remains in this location, despite such a different take on cuisine. The booths are the same, along with the dynamic artwork, but the theme is a shift which better suits the new menu. Let's be real, also, good Indian food is hard to come by in this neighborhood. Elephant doesn't have too much competition. Yes, Roti is close by, but that's a different take. (We're guessing regionality comes into play. For example, Roti's korma sauce is creamy with fruit, while Elephant's has almonds. Rice at Roti is yellow, with saffron flavors and Elephant's is white with peas and carrots.) Since our visit, every time we drive by, Elephant is busy! As they should be! Welcome to the neighborhood, Elephant Indian!

I am a rice and naan snob. Both were cooked to perfection. The rice was fluffy and warm. The naan was crispy and chewy at the same time. Topped with lots of butter and garlic, and tasted absolutely delicious. All the curries were really good too. Will be ordering from here again.

Parking is convenient, as you can use any of the hotel parking options. Now, onto the food--everything we tried was outstanding! We ordered the onion pakora, garlic naan, Punjabi butter chicken, and chicken saag. Each dish was flavorful and perfectly prepared; I would happily order them all again. The service was quick, attentive, and genuinely friendly, making for a truly delightful dining experience. This is undoubtedly a neighborhood gem worth visiting!

We have been wanting to try this new spot in the old buzz brews and stopped in the other night and it did not disappoint! We had a great warm and spicy meal on a cold night. Portions are large and we had leftovers. The food is excellent and has great flavor. I love spicy food and got the soup at a spice level of 5 and it had a serious kick. We had really great service as well. The neighborhood needed a good Indian cuisine spot and the elephant Indian grill is a welcome addition!

Such a cute place and the delightful young man who served us was so helpful with describing best appetizer to try and so attentive. Since the level of spice was super tasty but I was needing water refills and he took care of me . I am mild mannered on spice levels but Birthday Boy loves the spice - so on our dish of Chicken Tikka we comprised with a level 2 . The portions are perfect for sharing and the flavors and beautiful colors of the dishes were photo worthy ! I am a fan of Indian food and so excited you are here and so close by and so good . Not only were the dishes a visual feast for the eyes , you could taste all the blended spices and rich velvety sauce . We got appetizer - a chili momo , Chicken Tikka for entree and Naan and had a perfect Birthday lunch . Parking was easy it has shared space with hotel behind it . This place has such a cool vibe ! The entire staff were so welcoming. Cannot wait to come back and try everything on the menu !! I need a sample plate cause I want to try it all !! Excellent lunch thali. On a heat scale of 1-5, a 2 is plenty for this native Texan who grew up in Cajun Country! Spotlessly clean, with fair prices and service that isn't intrusive. I will absolutely be back.

The food was so good and the service was even better! I will definitely be coming back. So many great vegan options and they were so accommodating to our vegan dietary needs. if you are vegan get the coconut masala! The ambiance is great it is super clean and my cute yet casual interior decor.

I ordered the vegetarian thali, it comes with "soup of the day", the soup was basically tomato sauce with Veg-All, it also had a sweet taste. the vegetable pieces were much larger than they needed to be and al dente, so i had to sit there and cut the veggies up. I asked if I could have the Lentil soup and was told by Sagar, "no, the tomato soup is the soup of the day, so no" all the food had a sweet taste and lacked spices. I like indian food and have never had it this sweet, i did order it with the heat spice on the side. I was dissapointed as I was really hankering for good indian food. I'll have to go to Roti accross the highway next time or save my craving and go to India Garden in Garland. I won't be back.
