The Best Atlanta Restaurants for Plane Spotting | Eater Atlanta

"Set inside Kennesaw’s McCollum Airport gates, Elevation Chophouse overlooks the runway with floor-to-ceiling windows to catch the 300-odd takeoffs and landings daily. The half-priced wine nights on Wednesdays are a great time for a glass and a steak, but it’s brunch when the restaurant excels with smoked salmon Benedict and strawberry French toast." - Caroline Eubanks

Elevation Chophouse offered a unique experience. Overall, I’d give it 4 stars. The ambiance is definitely one-of-a-kind with its airport-side location—though seeing planes take off is hit or miss. The service was friendly and attentive, and the mozzarella sticks were a standout! I ordered an Old Fashioned, which came with regular ice and orange wedges rather than the classic twist—just a small detail, but it did throw me off a bit. The lamb and steak were good, but didn’t quite wow me. I’m a big fan of short rib, so I was disappointed to find it a bit dry. The Brussels sprouts, which came highly recommended, were more on the plain side for my taste. That said, I appreciated the effort the team puts into creating an enjoyable atmosphere, and I could see why this place is popular for the experience. I might give it another try in the future—especially for the location and friendly service.

Google
I cannot brag on the mocktails enough! I ordered the blackberry and blueberry and it didn’t have the extreme syrup taste. It was refreshing. Food and service was fantastic. Loved watching the air traffic.

Google
Great restaurant with a unique view of airport runways. My boys loved this place as kids and still love this place as young adults. Amazing brunch items, it's impossible to choose just one.

Came for brunch on a Saturday morning, which is from 11am to 3pm. We didn't have a reservation but we were seated upon entry. It was packed. We sat downstairs by the window. Nice view of the planes. Good menu options and great prices on the mimosas! I had the Elevation omelette and hash browns which were good. My mimosa wasade perfectly. My husband had the brisket and eggs and his was also good. Prices are very reasonable. Loved the atmosphere. Server was attentive overall nice place and we enjoyed ourselves. We will be back! I do recommend.

Google
Jack C. was absolutely AMAZING as our server. The food was hot and top tier, the $3 mimosas in any favor were a plus. YES! The people around us were smiling and in their happy place. Their restrooms were clean and that means so much. I will definitely be back. Happy Mother’s Day everyone.

Google
Elevation Chophouse was a unique experience. The service and food were very good. Classic filets and sides. The Caesar salad was a bit disappointing for the price point, but I am a true Caesar dressing person. Other than that our meal was very good. We went early on a Friday and the restaurant itself is dated and nothing special, with the exception of the view. I just felt for the experience and the good food, the ambiance was lacking.

Had an absolutely amazing experience here tonight. Heather, our server, had excellent recommendations and event better service. As a couple who hasn’t made it out in a while, this date night was made by the incredible food and staff. Upon hearing we were new to the neighborhood, the GM Dennis made it a point to welcome us and even send over some FANTASTIC desserts. Hands down to the chef who prepared the best lamb and salmon we’ve had in quite some time. Would recommend this establishment to any and every one of my friends. (Pics of dessert because we ate ALL of our food before we could take a pic)

Google
The evening didn't start well, as we had to wait 20 minutes for a table despite having a reservation. But Allie, our waitress, saved our evening with her friendly and attentive manner. The food was really delicious, only my hangar steak could have been a little warmer. But the quality of the meat was amazing.

Yelp
This was our first visit to the restaurant. The staff is very friendly, and the restaurant is nice. Noise level is average. We had the elevation omelet and southern benny. Both were average not bad not great. It did take 30 solid minutes after ordering to get the food.

Yelp
My husband and I had dinner here for Valentine's Day. It was my first experience at Elevation and I didn't really know what to expect. I knew they were offering a prix fixe menu for this particular evening and the options were all dishes I would enjoy. Arriving at the hostess station I immediately noticed dust and cobwebs hanging off the wall. This made me a little uneasy - first impressions are important and a lack of cleanliness in a restaurant is always a red flag for me. We were seated promptly at our reservation time and we had meatballs and spring rolls for our first course. They were okay. My husband had the lobster and steak for his main course. He asked for medium and received medium rare steak. I chose the Chilean sea bass with risotto. The fish was good but the portion was small. The portion of risotto was much larger but nearly flavorless. Both of our meals came with asparagus and it tasted like chlorinated tap water. I ate the fish and left the rest on my plate. For dessert we had the chocolate cake. It was okay. The decoration looked rushed with a few chopped strawberries and some whipped cream piped onto the plate. The cake tasted okay but wasn't anything special. The meal for the two of us cost just under $200 for these three courses and two sodas. I was very disappointed. While the ambience was fine and the service was good, the food didn't measure up and I walked out feeling cheated. I don't plan on going back.

Yelp
The food was 10 out 10 and the was view amazing!! Everything we ate was amazing. Start with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Chicken fingers and fries. Cheesecake crème brûlée and peach cobbler delicious

Yelp
Elevation Chop House and Sky Bar: Cool Concept, Average Execution For an early birthday celebration, I chose Elevation Chop House and Sky Bar, intrigued by the unique experience of dining at a small airport with views of the runways. And in that regard, it delivered--there's something undeniably fun about watching planes take off and land while you eat. The food itself, however, left me with mixed feelings. It wasn't bad by any means, but it wasn't particularly memorable either. The line between freshly prepared dishes and prepackaged items was a bit blurred, and the overall execution felt uninspired. The plating, in particular, was disappointing--compartmentalized into little bowls with no effort to make the dishes visually appealing. It didn't feel like an afterthought so much as no thought at all. That said, the waitstaff was lovely--kind, attentive, and welcoming. The hospitality side of the experience was solid, even if the food presentation and overall culinary ambition fell flat. I see a lot of untapped potential in this place. With its unique location and concept, Elevation Chop House could elevate (pun intended) the dining experience to something truly special by focusing more on presentation and refining the food to match the setting. As it stands, it operates more like a casual chain restaurant--a simple, no-fuss style that doesn't quite live up to the unique environment. Would I go back? Probably, but with adjusted expectations. The draw here is the novelty of dining by the runway, not the food. Go for the view, enjoy the experience, and don't expect to be wowed by what's on your plate. But, that said, it is not bad, just not WOW.

Yelp
$$-$$$ Great view of the Kennesaw Airstrip. We watched aircraft land during our visit to this upscale tavern. Drinks were well made by our mixologist at the upstairs bar. We had really good service and the nightly manager stopped by as well. With high ceilings and well lite area, conversation was easy and relaxed. A unique place to dine in Kennesaw GA. MAKE MEMORIES AND SAFE TRAVELS

Yelp
-Great food -Awesome ambiance - if you have people who enjoy seeing planes take off and land, this is a cool spot to do it in. -Good portions to easy for sharing with a group. -Our waitress was great and very attentive, even with a party of 20 people sitting by us. Minor feedback: We came to celebrate my husband and parents birthdays together here. I included a note about it in the reservation and it seemed to have been forgotten. I had to find our waitress to ask her and she said the hostess must have forgotten to mention it. Minor issue but it was unfortunate. The waitress made up for it in the end and brought out dessert.

Yelp
The view and ambiance is amazing! Service was great and the waiter definitely kept us entertained. Food was okay. Drinks had a slight medicinal taste. I think they use syrups rather than puree. We ate steak, salmon, brussels, onion rings, and salad. Steak was well cooked and the demi glaze added a nice touch. Would definitely go back for the view.
google avatar

Krystle W.

Yelp
Of course the view of the aircraft's taking off and landing is everything. We sat upstairs right by a window so that was great for the kids. We went during brunch I had a mimosa the champagne was flat guess that's why they are $3. My daughter got the key like Caesar in which majority of the lettuce was wilted. The pancakes were huge and worth it. I got wedge salad with an abundance of onions and they use ranch instead of blue cheese. The server was very nice he just seemed a bit shy.

Yelp
Terrible dining experience. Bad food. Bad service. Never again. View of the airport was good. Food was cold

Yelp
We had a ladies brunch to kick off the holiday season. The best part of this restaurant are the views of the tarmac with all the private planes coming in and out. The second best thing is the ambiance. Open, airy, and spacious inside. We started with a few of the appetizers. Fried shrimp with a remoulade sauce, sticky ribs and the spinach dip. We then moved on to entrees. There was French toast, brisket and eggs, the chopped steak, chicken club and the southern Benny. I'll speak for all of it as we shared plates. Portions were generous, food was tasty, everything came out in a timely fashion and was done as described on the menu. We tried three of the desserts, the cheesecake, brownie sundae and bread pudding which came with a creme brûlée sauce. They were all good with the bread pudding as the standout for everyone. Service was good. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. I would say that overall it was a good experience and worthy of a return visit. M

Yelp
It was the day before Father's Day and busy. Mozzarella cheese was great, the Texas Chili not so much. I was disappointed when we arrived and found that the restaurant did not have an elevator or chair lift to allow for my husband and I to enjoy the second floor as I am handicapped. Overall the experience was unique and might try to go back when it has a less lively event.

Paula Manning M.

Yelp
Reagan was awesome waitress! Salmon was perfectly cooked (medium rare) and seasoned. Slab RIBS were extremely greasy with no flavor......really terrible.... Worse of all, all the grease caused stomach issues later on.

Yelp
Chophouse. Just the name alone should indicate something high end. Things at McCollum Airport. Walk into what looks to be an old restaurant. We were seated upstairs. The booths looked like they were hand me downs from a diner. Nothing gave me the feelies that this was high end except for the menu prices. While the server over shared her thoughts on everything imaginable she was very attentive. Ordered the steak pasta and a wedge salad. The highlight of the night was the house made ranch dressing on the wedge. The pasta was a basic Alfredo penne with sautéed onions and mushrooms and a skirt steak over top. Theatres was bland. The steak was decent. Others at the table ordered the salmon, the filet, and a burger. Food was mediocre. Ambiance was outdated, well used and uninspiring. Beer selection was dismal. Server was attentive but the over talking and over sharing was a bit much. Prices were high for the quality of food. A better name for the place would be "Airport Restaurant". Very "ish".
google avatar

Monica N.

Yelp
I've been excited to try this place for a while. Recent reviews have been spot on. Cute little local airport with a nice, older restaurant. Server was nice; very slow. Food was good, not great and very pricey.

Yelp
First of all you need to update your point of sale system. There should be a way to split checks no matter the size of the party. The food was not all that great. We ordered onion rings as an appetizer, and honestly get the same quality and more from Dairy Queen. The salmon and steaks were burnt, and had bitter notes of charcoal. The gourmet sides were less than gourmet and tasted like they were instant potatoes from Kroger or Walmart. The chicken for the chicken parmigiana tasted like bland frozen chicken on top of store bought dry pasta. The only item we ordered that looked decent was the burger my son ordered. Our server was absent almost the entire time we were there. We had to ask for refills after waiting for 20 minutes. Ultimately the "final nail in the coffin" was the lack of care given to our party in regard to settling the bill. The checks were split into six different tickets. Every ticket had to be signed. Our server instructed us to only write her tip on one receipt. She then decided to hover by the table near us and wait for the signed receipts. Once signed she proceeded to open the receipts that my wife had neatly had folded and handed to her. She proceeded to berate our table and ask what she could have done better. That is a simple and easy thing. Do your job. Customer service is key in the restaurant business. You did not provide adequate service that deserved a tip, especially if you have to ask "What could I have done better." We truly wanted this to be a great experience, but the only positive was the view of the aircraft landing and taking off. Unfortunately, we will never frequent this establishment ever again, and recommend that anyone who is reading this lengthy review does the same. Exercise caution coming to this establishment, it may not be what it seems.

Yelp
So I was super excited to try this place. It's been on my list for quite some time now. I went on Valentine's Day weekend so they offered a special brunch menu. An appetizer, an entree and a non-alcoholic drink for $29 per person. I thought that was an awesome deal but you are absolutely getting what you pay for. Maybe even less. The bartenders were very nice but the food was awful. The food took about 25-30 mins to come out. The "appetizers" came out after the food. I ordered a medium rare steak (my mistake clearly) and got pretty near well done. The steak also came with mushrooms and onions piled on top of it, which was not mentioned anywhere on the menu. Is this a Philly cheesesteak or steak frites?? It was advertised as steak frites. Where's the Chimichurri??? Honestly shameful to call this establishment a "chophouse". I also asked for an over easy egg on the side and they were not over easy. Over hard at best. Overall I was severely disappointed with this dining experience. I would like to give them another try maybe on a regular day. It was Sunday brunch after all. But still the quality of food being so low when you're advertising this "amazing" deal is just silly.

Yelp
Although this is an older restaurant the food was really good. We had the special which was amazing. Our server was knowledgeable and provided us some of his favorites and helped us navigate the menu. He asked probing questions which helped us make our final decision on what to order. The setting is older, but because it is at an active airport it's really nice to see the places land and take off. The best time to go is during the evening to watch the sunset.

K M.

Yelp
Service was slow and it was not crowded. We had to go find the waitress to order drinks. She forgot a salad for someone in the party. They brought our entrees and 3 were incorrect. Steak was medium well and should have been medium rare. Two of our party ordered salmon and one was well done. She gave it to the wrong person and we found out after we start eating. We just swapped the plates. We ate the medium well steak and just decided to forget about making this a regular place to go.

Yelp
El jefe was a delicious adventure for my taste buds. Had the special treat of seeing a helicopter landed while on my second mimosa! Her French toast was "over the top" with that special sauce! Thanks for the attentive service though the place was busy!! Love the ambiance. The layout is so cool. I sat where I could see both bars. Will be back again and again.

Cody C.

Yelp
An absolute overpriced scam. Because we chose not to pay for a valet service, we had to park very far out walking past their construction site, which my partner in heels did not love. Once you enter, the ambiance is sorely lacking. From where I was sat, I could see an entire room of air filters and maintenance equipment. There were loose wires hanging from the ceiling as well. My steak was well under cooked, chicken over cooked. The server we had was so high out of his mind that both tables on either side of us had two different sets of patrons before we got our $250 ticket. I'm sure this place used to be nice 20 years ago, but it is not anymore.

Yelp
Haven't been here in several years and nothing has changed ( that's not a good thing). When you walk in you are greeted at a Very Old hostess stand - really just sand it down and repaint it We had a 7 pm reservation and were told there would be a wait. It was very busy but I'm not sure why so many people were here, expensive and this is just a mediocre restaurant. The wait staff wears old blue jeans and black shirts. Very unruly looking. There is a second floor where part of it overlooks the bar area. As I stood waiting for our table I saw between 2-3 wait staff just standing looking down . I'm sure there must be something they could do. When we finally were seated upstairs ( which was nice as we could overlook the runway) we had to ask and wait for the filthy floor and table to be cleaned ( ummm maybe one of the wait staff that was hanging over the railing could have done this before we were brought upstairs) The tables and chairs look about 20 years old and very worn. There is nothing on the tables ie decoration. Would it be hard to have a vase with a flower ohhhhh or maybe a salt and pepper shaker. The restroom feels like the heat is on, when I mentioned this to staff I was told they've been telling management this for awhile ( it's June and 95 degrees outside) really. On the positive the waiter was nice, until he took my napkin away when I went to the restroom and it took me asking 4 times for a new one. Now on to the food -I ordered the lamb chops and mashed potatoes which were tasty. But That was the only thing on the plate , would it hurt to put a little sage or parsley on the plate for presentation? At least we had silverware- I saw several tables get their food and then they had to ask for silverware geez Soooo overall we will not be back - way to expensive- took tooooooo long to get our food and it was not worth the 2 hours we spent there.
google avatar

Yelp
Attended their New Years Eve event where after paying $79 per person, multiple people got sick off of the steak entree and the bartending/mixology was horrible and almost every drink was sent back to be re-made. I do not think we will be returning and it was a disappointment after wanting to check this place out for months.
google avatar

Rand E.

Yelp
Excellent restaurant overlooking the runway airport. They offer the best steaks in Kennesaw. I've enjoyed meals here several times. Love taking my wife and family - when relatives are in town we always go here. Service is on point!
google avatar

Vi G.

Yelp
It's been awhile since we've been able to do a date night. Our server - Donovan was attentive and was right around the corner, if we needed his assistance! The food was good, however, the creme brûlée..it's probably the best I've had, thus far! My only concern was the 8oz filet. For the price, didn't seem reasonable. Decided to sit at the 2nd level bar after dinner. Forgot the bartender but she's a gem and fun! If you do come - I would say come around 4/5pm. Before the sun goes down. To see the planes/helicopter. 6pm, it was too dark to really make anything out, aside from their navigation lights.
google avatar

Robin G.

Yelp
Need a different kind of date night? Plan a dinner at Elevation- we loved watching the planes take off and land. The margaritas were AMAZING. and the food was good. I got a Caesar salad with grilled chicken on top and it was pretty bland. My husband got a fillet and a side of garlic mashed potatoes. The portions were super small and he wasn't full when he left. But he did say everything tasted amazing. Overall, I would do this again in a heartbeat. I Would just approach it, knowing the portions are small and some of the main dishes that are salads are pretty boring-

Omarr B.

Yelp
Great experience one of the best steaks I've ever had. Staff was amazing the drinks were great. Overall no complaints. Will be back soon

Yelp
We had a wonderful time at a long-time friend's bruncheon. We went with a part of 7 on a Sunday afternoon, and our server was attentive, the food was of good quality and the bar was very well stocked and managed. We stayed right up to the closing time, and have a variety of "bruncheon" items, including the deconstructed omelette and several of the house-made benedicts. I had the fried chicken benedict, and I particularly enjoyed the honey/spicy hollandaise that they make in-house. The facility has a very high ceiling, which makes the acoustics a bit unusual. We were afraid we were being too loud, but everyone was. I would say it's family friendly, and priced reasonably.

Doug D.

Yelp
First time being at elevation the ambiance was nice the food was really good. It beat all my expectations. I had a steak which was cooked to perfection and my wife got the brisket. The steak was 8-9 but brisket was a 10. The service was outstanding!I will go back.
google avatar

Tina H.

Yelp
Meh! Tried brunch and may have caught them on an off day. I ordered the Chicken Benedict and the chicken was obviously frozen cutlet. Not great. Eggs were well poached and sauce was okay. Mimosa special and it was awful. The table next to us didn't seem to be finishing theirs but assumed it was a 2nd drink. Limited expectations for $5 but it was bitter. Too many options to revisit this one.
google avatar

Julie M.

Yelp
Food and service are always on point! Once in awhile they may run out of something but it has lead me to try new menu items .
google avatar

Kemsey M.

Yelp
This place is very cool! We loved watching the planes come in and out. It was a very unique experience! Our waitress was wonderful. The inside was fine but the real experience was the view. The food was good. Not great but good. For the price, you are paying for the location which is understandable. But we've had better steaks and sides. We did enjoy it though! The food just wasn't the best we've ever had.
google avatar

Ashley S.

Yelp
This is the second time we have visited for brunch. The food is good (though the poached eggs were well done) and the drinks are well poured and inexpensive. However, the service is painfully slow. We watched a table next to us sit for 45 minutes with no drinks and still had not ordered their food. Our party's food took over an hour from the time we were seated. We ordered items we never received...this happened on both visits. Zero sense of urgency with the staff. We ended up going straight to the bar for our drinks. We do not recommend visiting this establishment unless you have an inordinate amount of patience and time to kill. Fortunately we were with good friends.

Alice B.

Yelp
Service was friendly and attentive. Food was good but the flat iron steak dish was a little tough. Portions were good. Nice experience.
google avatar

Crystal J.

Yelp
This place is awesome! A very nice restaurant next to an airport runway! The food is terrific & I throughly enjoyed myself! Our waitress Cyndi was great & service was fast! Will definitely return!

ana paula l.

Yelp
The coffee was cold and the cups were dirty with lipstick. The brisket and eggs were cold and stiff, the pork in the eggs benedict was extremely dry, and the steak frites had too much pepper. The french toast was delicious, however the strawberries on top were mushy and looked old. Our server was a kind woman and we do not blame her at all. The food was just extremely disappointing and I do not recommend eating here.

M N.

Yelp
Four of us (all adults) visited on Mother's Day Eve and there was a fixed price, 3 course menu. It was $60 per person, not including drinks or tip. It was a decent experience overall, but for the final price tag (almost $600 between the two couples) I would have expected a fine dining experience. This was not that. They didn't actually give us enough menus for everyone in our party and it took a little while for our server to get to the table. Drinks and food came out at slightly different times for everyone. I know all restaurants are understaffed, but there was little interaction from servers other than taking your order. No recommendations etc. Service: The ambiance was cool, especially watching the planes from the "sunroom" area where we were seated. It was definitely more of a dive bar/ sports bar feel. Nothing wrong with that, but it wasn't the vibe we were expecting for the price. First Course: The crab cake was pretty good. The taste and portion size very much resembled the frozen Crab Cakes you can get at Costco - not implying that was the case, but just setting expectations. It was small but the presentation and red pepper jelly dipping sauce were nice. Main Course: this was the highlight. I loved the Parmesan crusted grouper. One friend really enjoyed the prime rib. The two in our party who ordered the surf and turf noted that it was good, but the filets were overdone and the 2 shrimp provided were your typical fried shrimp you could get anywhere for much cheaper. Dessert: We tried one of everything available on the mother's day menu. They were all good and had a nice presentation, however, think "cruise ship" quality, not fine dining experience. They're your typical desserts like brownie or key lime pie, nothing unique. I'm willing to try the restaurant again but I would come for a casual burger lunch vs splurging on an "upscale experience" money for a meal that resembled Chilis or Appleby's more than a fine dining establishment.

J S.

Yelp
I have been hesitant to try this restaurant because of the mid reviews. My husband and I tried it for the first time last night. The food was fantastic. I had the filet and my husband had the ribeye. They were cooked perfectly. We both had Brussels sprouts as our side. They were delicious. We had great service and the atmosphere was nice. We will definitely be back!

Gigi G.

Yelp
This is our go to for special occasions and for Sunday brunch!! Food and service is always amazing and delicious!

Jyotsna V.

Yelp
Service was awful. We had reservations. The hostess put us behind a pillar. we asked to move and the waitress told us we could after they cleaned the table. Then they ignored us for 45mins to 1hour. I called and talked with the manager. He said that he would call me back. That was several days back. We are not going back.

Yelp
There's an old negro spiritual penned by the Psalmist, Nelly, called "Tip Drill." Look it up when you get a moment. But, when my wife and I visited this restaurant for a date night, a remix of the refrain welled up my spirit: "It must be ya [service] cause it ain't your [food]." To be clear, that's the only reason we're giving Elevation three stars--the service was excellent. Our server was kind, attentive, and led with that good ol' Southern Hospitality. But the food failed to match her excellence. We ordered the Crispy Rock Shrimp as our appetizer. The Beef Brisket and 14oz Black Angus Ribeye as our entrees, and Potato Au gratin, Mac & Cheese, Mashed Potatoes, and Mexican Street Corn. And well, let's just say... ...that service sholl was good. Unfortunately, there was no part of that meal that would make us want to return and reorder. I think this place has nice drinks and great service. So, if we ever went back, it'd be for the drinks and the service--and maybe we'd try dessert. Turns out, the Psalmist Nelly was right.

Yelp
What a delightful experience! We made last minute reservations for a group of 9. The cocktails were outstanding, appetizers were fantastic and the dinner was incredible.

Yelp
A quick visit for our son's 16th Birthday. Grilled Pork Chop and Rack of Ribs were both delicious and cooked perfectly. However, a name change may be in order for the Cheesecake that was no where near Colossal as stated on the menu. Overall a great experience and view.

Shannon B.

Yelp
We went here for my husbands birthday. We enjoyed watching the planes and the atmosphere in the restaurant was nice. The steaks were good and the portions were more than enough. We do wish they had more gluten free options for our son. Maybe have some gluten free chips to have with cheese dip, alternate fryer for fries, etc. cheesecake was delicious!

Rose V.

Yelp
If you are looking for something different overlooking an airfield with private jets, Excellent food, half price margs and martinis on Thursdays, then visit the Elevation Chophouse Restaurant. The atmosphere is subdued and the staff goes out of their way to accommodate you. And Missi repairs the most perfect cocktail btw. You will not be disappointed! Wish they'd bring back the Thursday night live music again. Maybe if we have enough requests they will.

Amanda J.

Yelp
Great service. Great atmosphere. The food and drinks were top notch! They were extremely busy but we were well taken care of and our party of 12 enjoyed every minute.

Yelp
Amazing spot with airplanes landing and taking off as your view. The service was great and the waitress took special care of our table and was very personable. The food was nothing short of excellent. 9/10

Yelp
We came here today wanting to try it out since it's fairly close to us, and I have a couple of restaurant.com certificates burning a hole in my pockets. We opted to check out brunch, just to check it out. Parking was a bit of a struggle as there seems to be a lot of cars alteady parked, but it doesn't look like they are patrons to the restaurant. Maybe it's a shared parking space for people at the airport too? We had a 12:15 reservation, and were not seated until after 12:30, at that was us being there at about 11:45. We had to reach out a couple of times, and the hostess had to apologize for the long wait more than once. We stayed at the bar during that time and had a couple of drinks, which were nice. When we got seated, it does seem like there were a couple of sections without people in them, maybe they were waiting for a big party? Who knows. It was a nice view though since a private jet was parked just beside the restaurant. We ordered the brisket breakfast, the fried chicken benedict, and the french toast. The food came in after a nominal amount of wait, which is not bad. Although we weren't even given water while we were waiting, which was fine since we got some drinks at hand. The french toast was good. It didn't have too eggy of a taste which I liked, but I didn't get too much hint of milk either. So overall, it was ok. My wife had the brisket. The brisket was good and seasoned just right, but her eggs looked a bit overcooked, and her hashbrowns were too peppery. There were a few concerns about my benedict as the chicken was really salty, the hollandaise was too buttery, and the hasbrowns was also the same as my wife's, like a teaspoon of pepper was added onto it. It would have been salvaged by the egg yolk to balance out the saltiness and butteryness, but my eggs were at the verge of being hard boiled. I'm guessing it's an off day today as I've read a lot of praises for the restaurant in various places. I do hope that is the case. We will try dinner some time and see if things are better. I really hope it is.

Yelp
For my boyfriends birthday I decided to take him to Elevation Chophouse and Skybar, and we both loved the place! This restaurant is located in Cobb County International Airport, and you can watch planes take off and land which is a very cool experience. I thought one of the coolest thing they have is their liquid nitrogen cocktails. The cocktails are prepared table side so we got to experience the whole process. We both ordered margaritas and they were yummy! For food we both ordered the Lobster and Shrimp Manicotti: ricotta, Parmesan, mozzarella cheese, lobster tomato mornay sauce topped with basil, and served with asparagus. The Manicotti was SO creamy and cheesy. We literally devoured it. Service was excellent. From the hostess on the phone dealing with my reservation and making sure we got the seats I wanted, to our amazing server. The place is nice too. They have two bars: one upstairs, and one downstairs. Only complain I have is the bathrooms. There's literally two bathrooms (one upstairs, and one downstairs) but this are single toilets. The night we visited it was crowded so I waited about 10 min in line to use the bathroom. Not cool.

Yelp
Interesting experience, we had a 7:30 appointment on a Friday night. parking is limited, if you're having issues finding parking, call the restaurant and they'll direct you to spots if they're available. The front staff is super nice and warm. They sat us upstairs when we arrived. We ordered apps for the table - firecracker shrimp which undercooked and soggy. We ordered drinks, however the martini was super sweet but the smile on the rox was pretty good. For the entrees we ordered the pork chop and salmon - however the meat was dry. The bill did not equate to the quality of the food. The restaurant is in a cool location but the experience doesn't match.
