Elfuego by COLLIN’S® (Jewel Changi Airport)

Had dinner there yesterday. Was excited when it reopened so decided to go with my wife for dinner. Love the new location within Jewel. The ambience and atmosphere was good. But food wise, I felt the standards have dropped for the food I ordered. Ordered the sharing Australian Smoked Beef Short Ribs like I always have when I go to Elfuego but was surprised at the small portion this time around. Not my first time ordering it as I had ordered it a couple of times before years ago at your previous location. The portion used to be bigger. It's meant for sharing but it's barely enough for two people and didn't feel worth it at $108. It was basically two heavy bones with little meat. I was surprised when it arrived at our table at the size of it as I remembered it to be bigger and had more meat. I even mentioned this to one of your staff, but he seemed clueless. The meat itself was very good, but the portion along with the price for it made it pretty disappointing. You can see in the photos at how small that sharing Australian beef short ribs is. Not worth it at $108. And it was just me and my wife, barely enough for us. And last time when I ordered it, the staff would show me the uncut meat before serving it. There was none of that this time around. I'd love to talk with someone competent enough from Elfuego about this as I wasn't really satisfied when I left and I wasn't even full. Disappointed and I expected better.

We had lunch today in here was so lovely the service and the food my favourite the scallops and the fish. The only problem is they don’t sale wine and this amazing food has to go with a nice wine…. They also have pluck to charge the phone on the table you just have to bring the right Coneccion to recharge our phones.

Atmosphere was great, which is why we decided to dine here. We were literally the only customer there at 11am, but the customer service was terrible. No one checked whether we were done with our appetizer and the mains came literally after I had 2 spoons of soup. I feel like I was rushed to finish my food. Then when I asked them to bring it back and place it at the warmer they said the doneness of the steak will change - like I didn’t know that!!!! Food was not too bad, but made average by the cold food due to staff not being attentive. If Elfuego is supposed to be the fine dining, you have failed in that regard. What’s the point of having branded water service - it doesn’t make your brand more atas! The entire dining experience is not up to my standard. Staff retraining needed - basic etiquette: smile when greeting customer, check if customer finished each course (especially since no crowd!!!)…

I came here with my friends to celebrate my husband’s birthday and we had such an enjoyable time. Food and ambience was great, and the staff that attended to us was attentive and accomodating. That made the whole dining experience a wonderful one. Highly recommended, and special shoutout to Diana, Azan and crew for your amazing service!

El Fuego is one of the best spots at Jewel Changi. They actually opened up their very highest rooftop/outdoor mezzanine just for me so I could admire the Rainforest Valley view from above on my birthday. ​It was an incredibly kind and generous gesture from the staff! While sipping their signature Kasturi cocktail (made with Calamansi—so refreshing!), I was able to relax and enjoy a moment of true luxury. ​Highly recommend this amazing restaurant for its beautiful atmosphere and exceptional service!

My wife and I were seated on the fringes of the restaurant where service staff could hardly see us. Atmosphere here was more of Jewel's instead of the restaurant itself. Service could be improved but hey, they're stopping operations by end of Feb 2025. Food was the real positives here. Everything we tried was delicious. Especially the scallops and barramundi dishes.

We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. We ordered two main dishes and both were served wrongly: The pasta looked 95–99% different from the menu photo. The waiter explained that the menu is “just for presentation,” which might be acceptable for minor differences—but not when the entire dish looks almost completely different. No replacement was offered. We ordered a medium-rare beef steak, but it was served well-done. The waitress did offer to replace it, but we had already said we didn’t have time because we needed to catch a flight. Overall, the service was poor and the explanations were not acceptable. The waiter came back later to apologize and said he would “take care of the bill,” but nothing was changed—we still paid the full amount. Definitely not worth the experience, and we would not recommend this place.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Experience at Elfredo by Collins – Jewel I had a wonderful dining experience at Elfredo by Collins. Christine provided exceptional service — warm, attentive, and very professional. She made the whole meal feel special. The food was amazing as well: delicious, well-presented, and worth every dollar.
