Elgin Saigon

Had dinner here last weekend and it was such a nice experience. Saw it was Michelin selected so we gave it a try. I recommend booking a table in advance! We ordered 5 dishes and I loved the chicken the most, super delicious. Overall the food was ab 7.5/10 for me. The staff were nice just one little point: when I asked for the bill one staff cleared my table even though I hadn’t finished yet lol. But I’d def come back to try other dishes. Love the vibe there super cozy for a date or catching up with friends!

absolutely amazing service! the staff were so friendly and accommodating, and made sure we were having a great time. food wise, we had the scallops, steak and prawn mafaldine. scallops were a tad bit salty, but was still juicy and fresh. the medium rare steak came overdone, and was mediocre. the pasta had a nacho cheese taste which wasn’t particularly to my liking, but the prawn bits were cooked perfectly. sticky toffee pudding was fantastic! not too sweet, chewy while not being overly sticky, and moist. the atmosphere was brilliant too, with candles that gave a homely and warm environment upstairs.

3.5/5 stars. Overall great tasting food with unique flavor profiles, but some dishes, not so much. Highlights were the cold noodles with fried squid, the mussels and the sticky toffee pudding. Service was good and the atmosphere was nice. Would recommend to try this restaurant

Warm Vibes and Delicious Food at Elgin Saigon I had a great dining experience at Elgin Saigon. The food was excellent, especially the drunken noodles and beef steak, which were both flavorful and cooked to perfection. What really stood out was the service. The staff were genuinely friendly and even offered me tastings from a few different wines to help me find one I liked, which made the evening feel extra thoughtful. The setting is cozy and intimate, making it a great spot for a relaxed dinner with good food, wine, and conversation. I’d happily go back.

The most amazing vegetarian food in Saigon. Every dish had a different flavor that was outstanding. They are one of the few restaurants where we found a separate menu for vegetarians. Really great mocktails and a fantastic wine list too. Would love to come back here again.

such a cozy spot and definitely one of my favorite dining experiences so far! i had the fried potato cake, lamb gnocchi sugo, sticky toffee pudding, and hamachi crudo and they all beautifully executed. the flavors were well-balanced, comforting yet elevated. i’d definitely come back to explore more of the menu they’ve got a good wine list too I couldn’t decide at first and they happily let me sample a few before picking💕really appreciated how welcoming the whole experience felt

This was by far, hands down, unequivocally, absolutely the best (non Viet) dining experience I had in HCMC. The head chef and team there are absolutely COOKING up a storm at Elgin. Each dish we ordered momentarily transported our taste buds to other cultures, cuisines, and cities which was a nice reprieve from the hot hustle and bustle of Saigon. Definitely recommend visiting Elgin for a meal on your own, with a special someone, or in a group of family or friends!!! 5/5

Was really impressed with the flavours and the impeccable service! Apart from the food our experience was definitely elevated with the hospitality!! Did not catch the name of the two staff (short hair lady w specs & guy w specs) that was serving us but they really went the extra mile :D offering me milk/warm water cos she saw me struggling with the spice & bringing us napkins when they saw us using our hands to eat the chicken etc. Really fantastic hospitality y'all js have to try it for urself 🥹special mention for the ayam taliwang its damn freaking bussin the chilli really packs a punch. They also discounted the wagyu tartare for us which was so unexpected but really appreciate it 🙏🏻🙏🏻 definitely a spot to revisit if i come back to HCM ❤️😋
