Elgin Saigon

We went for the set menu and really enjoyed it. They’re happy to adapt dishes to allergies if needed, which we appreciated. We were especially impressed by the starters: the lamb skewers and the tuna and potato bites were excellent. The chicken was good, with a nicely balanced sauce. The noodles were too spicy for us, and the dessert was a bit too sweet for our taste, but if you have a sweet tooth, you’ll probably love it. The staff were absolutely lovely and even took a souvenir photo for us with their own camera !

Very lovely blend of modern cuisine with Vietnamese inspired flavours and ingredients. Each component of each dish felt very intentional and worked really well with each other. My favourites were the hamachi crudo in a green coconut curry sauce, XO crab fried rice and the sticky toffee pudding (one of the best I’ve had - the savoury bits balanced out the sweetness perfectly). Staff were also very warm, attentive and accommodating. Will be back when I return to Saigon. Thank you:)

Absolutely amazing food and easily the best meal I had in Ho Chi Minh City — especially considering how affordable it was. The standout dish for me was the Pork Belly with Brussels Sprouts. The pork belly literally melted in my mouth, and the Brussels sprouts were perfectly charred and incredibly flavourful. So good. Other dishes were solid as well — the Half Chicken “Ayam Taliwang” was well-seasoned, and the seasonal truffle mushroom udon was rich, creamy, and packed with flavour. We were celebrating our anniversary, and the team went above and beyond by giving us a complimentary panna cotta and even taking a Polaroid photo for us as a keepsake — such a thoughtful touch. The service throughout was excellent, and the restaurant itself is beautiful and cosy. Highly recommend Elgin Saigon if you’re in HCM. Definitely a must-visit.

We booked a table for two for a Tuesday evening. The staff was professional, attentive and spoke fluent English. We ordered a few small dishes, as well as two main courses, as recommended by the waitor. All of them were nice, with fresh ingredients, elegant plating and refined taste. From the savoury ones, we recommend the chutoro toast. From the desserts, the sticky toffee pudding is borderline addictive.

Excellent! I went with friends and we had a wonderful experience! The dishes were really tasty and unique! I absolutely loved the lamb skewers! We also tried the scallops, lemongrass clams and lamb gnocchis! Really good! The service and staff is also excellent, asked multiple times how was our experience, really helping and sweet! The space is also very charming and the light setting is perfect for a chill atmosphere 🫶 Maybe the playlist could be less commercial and more chill but it’s only a detail and very subjective ☺️ I will definitely come back very soon 🤍

Really delicious and creative food, excellent balance of flavors - great for sharing. Friendly, seamless service with very knowledgeable and professional staff. Great wine and drinks too! I used to live in San Francisco, and this reminds me of the type of place you might find there - but at less than half of the price (without compromising quality). Will definitely be back!

Delicious. Elgin deserves to be on the Michelin Guide (which it is). One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Very reasonably priced for the most delicious food. Great service; perfect timing bringing out each course. Stunning menu choices. If you’re travelling through Ho Chi Min, go here!

Had dinner here last weekend and it was such a nice experience. Saw it was Michelin selected so we gave it a try. I recommend booking a table in advance! We ordered 5 dishes and I loved the chicken the most, super delicious. Overall the food was ab 7.5/10 for me. The staff were nice just one little point: when I asked for the bill one staff cleared my table even though I hadn’t finished yet lol. But I’d def come back to try other dishes. Love the vibe there super cozy for a date or catching up with friends!
