In general, was good, the atmosphere and service good, but, the food for me is an important decision. Was good, but not enough for me :( I ate a big pizza (very good portion), but, the was missing taste (pizza dough and tomate sauce) 😕 my friends also ordered things for sharing and they said that wasn't fresh :( and a margarita pizza and something. The beer was pretty good. The time of preparing thing good too 💪

The simplicity of the ingredients allowed the quality to shine, making for an exceptional culinary experience. Adding to the overall comfort of my dining experience were the surprisingly comfortable chairs, making me feel at home in this storied establishment. Elio Pizzeria isn't just about great food, but also about a welcoming and cozy atmosphere that complements the dining experience. However, one area for improvement would be the maintenance of their facilities. The taps in the washroom were not functioning during my visit, which slightly marred the overall experience. In summary, Elio Pizzeria is a must-visit for authentic Italian pizza lovers in Montreal. It offers a blend of traditional recipes, comfortable ambiance, and historical charm that is difficult to resist. While there is minor room for improvement in terms of facilities, the culinary journey it offers is absolutely worth it. Can't wait to return!

Enjoyed a Father's Day dinner with family. Service was excellent. Food was abundant but casual style. Price was very reasonable. Atmosphere was just ok because we were in the back room which could benefit from a little freshening up. Franco (the owner) was very pleasant and also very entertaining!

I can’t say enough about the food and the service. Pizza that reminded me of my childhood. You will not be disappointed. Thank you to Frank and the staff.

We had ordered delivery. All excited to eat pizza and pasta. Not going to lie. I will never order again. Pizza tasted like frozen pizza that extra ingredients was added on top. I would rather order PapaJohn's Pizza, it would have been cheaper and better. Paid extra for hot chili oil which did not even have flavor. Pasta was overcooked. Requested penne gigi and did not even got the order right. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. Overall biggest disappointment and will not order again. Nothing is worth it.

I ordered Elio’s pizza via Door Dash for the first time & was blown away. The pizzas were generously topped with ingredients and delicious — the pizza is a thick-crust style. Highly recommend — I will definitely order from Elio’s again when I am craving pizza!

Overall, I enjoyed my visit here. The food was good (though definitely not the best) and the portions were huge for the price you pay. The restaurant is packed and reservations are required, though usually a day in advance is enough. The average crowd age is high, if you think that's important, I still don't know I felt about it. I'm always looking for a good dependable Italian restaurant that I can go back to when I'm craving pasta and I needed this one to be just a bit better in the taste/quality category for my taste. I'm glad I tried it and I'll probably be going back at some point.

If you want a nice and authentic plate of pasta that can (almost) rival your nonna's this place is it. Everything we tried was delicious, the staff and kind and quick, and the portions are very Italian (aka generous).
