Elio's Osteria e Pizzeria

While visiting Canyon Lake, my wife was craving pizza. We came across Elio's and were very impressed. Stacy, our waitress was spot on and super friendly. We started off with Calamari and it was phenomenal. Our next choice was the Supreme pizza. My wife and had to mention to Stacy that this was one of the best pizzas we ever had. We will definitely make another trip from San Antonio to Elio's just for the pizza. I totally recommend Elio's.

A very spacious and lively restaurant that we visited on a Friday evening. They were kind enough to accommodate us on a short notice. The waitress was a little weird - she had a smiling face but was a little strict however she took excellent care of us. We ordered different things and all of them were good. There are inside and outside seating areas. There was also a local country band performing live and we loved it. They serve awesome desserts and also have a mini bar inside the restaurant. There is also a lot of partying spots outside the restaurant for free parking. Overall, a nice red to hang out with friends.

Small town Italian restaurant! Delicious wings, pizza, and dessert! Calamari was tough and pasta was okay. Our favorite server is Drew and he always makes us feel welcome! We are regulars here and recommend it!

Dinner here was the absolute best we had while visiting TX. The staff was super friendly upon arrival and the food was amazing. The only bad thing was a huge delay in receiving 1 of our meals. The other 2 in the party were pretty much done eating by the time the 3rd person's food came. There was almost no communication during that wait, and it was like they were avoiding our table completely. When they finally did bring it out, the server did apologize and stated he had taken 1/2 off the price of that meal. No manager ever came by to explain what happened or to apologize, which was very disappointing. We sat outside to enjoy the nice weather. They have a great patio, but could really benefit from some background music and some buffer plantings as the adjacent road is VERY noisy. However, taking all that into account, I would still recommend this place based on the food quality alone.

Terrible experience! We came into Canyon Lake for the weekend to just unwind and relax, figured we would get food from here because of the glowing reviews. Honestly, I'm not sure how they have so many glowing reviews?! We had a Calabrese pizza, mozzarella sticks, and Caesar salad. The only real edible thing was the Caesar salad. The portion was still kind of small for what they're charging, but whatever! The mozzarella sticks felt like they were frozen ones that were barely cooked. They were lukewarm, at best, and soggy instead of crunchy. While, yes, we did get take-out, they still should not have been that lukewarm! The Calabrese pizza was the worst thing we got from there. It was truly inedible! My husband and I had one slice each and threw the whole thing out. We ordered a focaccia crust, and it was not focaccia how I know it. What in the world is this GOOB sauce? If you're going to make a proprietary sauce and it's going to be sickeningly sweet, there needs to be an explanation on the menu. Along with the sweet sauce, the cheese tasted like vegan cheese. There was way too much on there, and the quality of cheese was terrible. It was so gross. We were both so upset after a lake day and the worst pizza I've ever had. If you're considering going there, I would not order the pizza!

Absolutely delicious. Love the tasty food the wine the appetizers just simple delicious really recommend this to anyone that really likes Italian food. I celebrated my birthday there. We had a great time. Everyone is very nice and they treat you with lots of respect will be going again.❤️❤️

What a wonderful place! Met family there for dinner on a Sunday. Had made reservations so we just followed the hostess in. Server was excellent! Service was quick and food was amazing!! Only regret being too full for one of their beautiful desserts!! Next time! Will definitely be back!!

We had heard how great this place is so thought about trying it for my husband's birthday ... which unfortunately was the day before Thanksgiving! Everyone in town ordered pizzas thst night! The wait staff were wonderful and even though we waited an hour for our food...it was superb!
