Google
The absolute best liquor store uptown! Been shopping there for years and even though I moved out of town, they still take care of me with incredible service and an amazing selection. Six stars if I could award them.

Katie Kiefer Tillery

Google
This is my favorite place to visit weekly for wine, Topo chico, and champag ne! The staff knows me by name and always helps me pick out new wines to try based on what they know I like. Also, prices are great and staff carries wine to car so you don't have to. Support local businesses like this one. You won't regret it! This entire bag of stuff was less than $50!

Charles Conti

Google
Amazing selection of hard to find beer and bourbon at reasonable prices. Very knowledgeable owners and staff.

Jonathan Thompson

Google
A fantastic liquor store with an excellent selection of spirits, very fair prices, and helpful staff (shout out to Tim). I'm not a wine drinker but their wine selection also looked impressive. Will definitely be revisiting this store!

Dason Junn

Google
Very nice and knowledgeable people. Gentleman was able to help me find a beer comparable to one I like that wasn't in stock. He took the time to explain why they didn't have the brand at the time.

Google
Great wine and liquor selection. The staff are very friendly and know a lot about the products. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

Nadav Herman

Google
Best liquor store in town. Great selection and friendly staff. It’s my favorite place in town

Austin Klumpp

Google
I went on my bike to grab some liquor for me and my girl; I forgot my bike key lock, and Mr.Marsh kindly watched my bike and the nice woman Ms.Ann helped me find a great deal with what little I had. Fair prices and good deals, customer service was great.

Yelp
Absolutely worst customer service. Called 30 mins prior to closing to ask about a specific wine and then drove 25 mins here to buy it and they closed the doors right as I walked up at 6:59 and told me I was out of luck they just cut pos off. Great way to treat customers! I won't be recommending to anyone else.

Yelp
Good selection, reasonable prices. Checked Elio's out for the first time recently. Even though it's a ten minute walk from my house, I hadn't realized it was in the area as it's hidden behind the Mexican restaurant. Judging based on whiskey alone, the regular shelf selection was good. Found some bottles not sold at other stores in the area (Broadway Wine and Spirits or the Freret Rouses). They have a decent amount of allocated bottles behind the register and they had numerous store picks (excited to try the Pinhook store picks) Picked up Old Forester 100 proof for $25 and a Buffalo Trace store pick (375 ml) for $15. The Buffalo Trace store pick was delicious. I will definitely be coming back for my whiskey needs!

Yelp
I always forget about this place and I shouldn't! It's a treasure trove of customer service for all your libation leanings! Every year at this time, Shiner Cheer sells out across the city. I had planned to drive to total wine but the drive and hassle seemed a bit much compared to the long list of things I had to get done close to home. I called ahead to inquire if the holiday beer was in stock and the lady said yes! After securing my seasonal supply I took some time to peruse the wine and liqueurs. I was surprised to find many of my favorite wines priced $4-$6 less than Rouses, as well as an array of exotic and unique gins, bourbons and tequilas. Support your neighborhood and your city and consider Elio's for your holiday gatherings and all other festivities year round!

Yelp
Best prices in the city by far! Super nice staff and great selection. Staff is always willing to help pick a new wine or help bring it to your car.

Yelp
Came to get supplies for a bachelorette and was given excellent suggestions - not just for our beverages, but for other things to do in town, and safe travel tips. The prices seemed excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Yelp
I was staying in the area and was glad to discover this tiny local gem of a wine shop. Tucked around the corner from the beaten path, they certainly have a good assortment of wines, including my beloved Pinot's. Staff was super friendly, prices were reasonable and a bottle can be found for every budget. Unless you know Elio's is there, not sure how someone would find, unless they Yelp or are dialed in via technology to find. So know that it is there and stop by to pick up your wines if you too are in the area.

Yelp
Damnnnnn This was the smoothest transaction I have made in quite some time. Everytime I have called them they are super friendly even when they were temporarily closed due to COVID. I needed to order two cases of mini champagne bottles and wanted to support a local spot and had seen Elio's a few times when I was in the neighborhood. This shop has a bit of everything and I walked out with two cases being delivered by their team and loaded up into car. I'll definitely be back for my alcohol needs! I was also pleasantly shocked this is accessible to the public and no membership is needed.

Yelp
Love Elio's Wine! They have a great selection. Set back off of Claiborne Ave, it's close to a few other little shops and restaurants, felipes shares a parking lot. They have a decent selection of craft beers as well. Friendly and helpful staff.
google avatar

Yelp
We were staying at an Airbnb in the area and needed to stock up on supplies. Elio's was a great find in the neighborhood, they had a giant selection of wines, so the warehouse did not disappoint. I also liked how they had a wide variety from a price point selection, so people were able to get what they needed at the cost they felt comfortable with.
google avatar

Cesar R.

Yelp
Great selection of spirits from around the world plus their keg service is ! Parking sucks but it's only a problem during lunch hour when the place across for them gets packed.
google avatar

Stanton M.

Yelp
We love Elio's! First - Elio was a New Orlean icon. He went out of his way to help me understand wines. We miss him. His son Tim is also wonderful and sincerely cares about his customer's needs. Ask for assistance and you will receive outstanding service at Elio's.

Yelp
*This is a 5-star joint with 3-star reviews. See note at bottom about other reviews of Elio's that explains why. This is absolutely my go-to liquor store in New Orleans, and in fact one of my favorites this side of Astor Wines & Spirits in NYC. Their rum selection in particular is fantastic - pretty much every kind of rum you could need to start your own tiki bar, along with friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff to help you figure out what you need and where to find it. The selection of liqueurs and other mixers is terrific, too. I've had dozens of samples of terrific spirits here that I was offered apropos of nothing other than that they pay attention to what their regulars like and make suggestions for new horizons. They've also started carrying some of my favorite staples on request! * Elio's has the misfortune of being the liquor store closest to Tulane, right across the street from the football stadium and walking distance from campus. If you peruse the negative reviews, you will notice that they are almost all from angry college kids who didn't get keg satisfaction quite fast enough and have written one or two yelp reviews EVER. I love Tulane, but the kids in charge of the keg parties aren't the university's brightest lights. Elio's: top-notch liquor store; spotty clientele.

Yelp
What a hidden gem this place is. Chock full of fine wines and a really nice bourbon selection. Very service oriented as well.

Yelp
When I'm today and I'm not sure if she's the owner or not but she was very rude put my cash on the counter after count it.. My husband in I always spend money here but after today we will not be back...

Yelp
Elio's is great! It's well hidden at the back of a dead end behind Felipe's. The parking lot is tight and I've definitely had to do a 15-point turn to exit in the full lot before. Try to park next to sedans because if you're next to a truck, you won't have space to back up safely. My husband loves their beer selection- they post on Facebook when they get new stuff in, too. They are great for recommendations- I always buy something new when I go. They have some stuff on tap so bring a growler! Their wine selection is amazing. We go there sometimes when we are bored just to find something new. They're conveniently located across Claiborne from Tulane so their mixer collection is well stocked.

Yelp
A "wine warehouse" sounds just wrong, doesn't it? But hey, I'm no wine snob, so I do just fine here. Actually wine snobs would be fooled by the name-they've got quite the selection of bottles by the case (not wines by the glass, natch). I like buying wines by the case. Don't judge. I happen to throw quite the soirée from time to time... Elio's is one of the few places in town to offer a variety of beers by the keg, too (domestic, craft, import). Check out their website because they practically give you directions on how to throw a damn party yourself. You'd do far worse than find all your libations here and you'll be saving a pretty penny to boot! The staff is really helpful (they brought my 4 cases out to the car, how nice!)

Yelp
Stopped in here, and if I'm being totally honest, I was left a bit disappointed. Let me explain. I had heard that although Elio's mainly deals in wine, they also have a pretty good beer selection. While the beer selection isn't anything out of this world, I will say that it's decent. The only problem is A LOT of the beers are old. Like, 6 months old. I understand that most people who come here are looking for wine, so that is the main focus, but if you are going to offer something, I feel that it should be pretty fresh. I was able to pick up a couple of bottles, but I probably would have picked up a few more if there were more fresh selections. For my buck, I think that next time I'm going to skip this place when looking for beer, and just come for the wine.

Yelp
Need a keg? Need it to be ice cold? Elio's is your place. They've usually got a good selection of beers available, so you can walk in the day of your event and pick up a keg that's ready to tap and start drinking. No need to chill it, which is super helpful. Kegs range from $70-120ish, and you can get different sizes (pony kegs, full kegs, etc.) If you don't own a tap and/or a keg shell, you can get them from Elio's for a $90 total deposit ($40 for the tap, $50 for the shell). You get that money back if you return the keg within 7 days. (As such, I now own a keg shell and tap. Surprised?) The dudes who bring the keg out to your car are always amused to discover I don't have a passenger seat, making it 1) easy for them to load and 2) the perfect keg mobile. Too bad drinking in the car isn't legal for passengers anymore. Otherwise, my car would make for epic road trips to, say, the northshore to go tubing. Anyway, Elio's also has a ton of wines available and a wide selection of liquors. My experience with them has been pretty much limited to the keg thing, though. Overall, I've been happy with their service. My only complaints would be that the parking lot is an absolute nightmare (it's always always packed), and the fact that it's Uptown (and therefore very far away from my house.)

Yelp
For when you want some wine but don't feel like registering republican just to go to Martin's.
google avatar

Yelp
Super friendly people and a nice craft beer selection for such a small area for beer. I liked the good selection of local beers too!
google avatar

Zachary G.

Yelp
I've been to a lot of wine stores in NOLA: Pearl, Philippe's, Hopper's, The Wine Seller, Martin, Bin 428. None compares to Elio's. Simply put, you get wine here, THE EXACT SAME WINE, for 30-70% less than other stores. Just ask, "what's on special?" If you want to pay less for your wine, go to Elio's!
google avatar

Yelp
Holy crap... these guys really are the biggest a-holes out there. I called to reserve a keg of Covingtons strawberry. Dude tells me they have one left. Then he tells me there is no way to put it on hold, no way to put a deposit down for it over the phone, basically no way he can provide an ounce of service whatsoever. When I ask why he says it's because 1000 people a day call up reserving kegs and then never come get them. Well...maybe today 1000 people called you trying to reserve a keg but I can guarantee only 999 will be calling tomorrow! Hopefully 998 the day after that. Look guys...I know you've done a banging business over the years selling to frat kids (I was one myself back in the day). That's why you were my first thought now that I have moved back to NOLA. Now that I'm all grown up with real money to spend and options at my disposal, I'm looking to give my business to a company that can hold a specific keg I want to buy from them for 12 f-ing hours until I can make it in to pick it up. Oh yeah...and you need to fire that hag you've got working the register (although from her demeanor I'm guessing she's family).

Yelp
Elio's is a good spot for big drinkers (like former me) and not-so-big drinkers(like current me) alike. Their selection of liquor is good and fairly priced but not cheap, as far as I can tell. I really like their selection of wine the best. The area by the cash register is half off wine is awesome! Lots of bottles to be had for $5-10 that are perfectly good for a nice evening. Sometimes it's bad wine, but usually stuff that they are just getting out of their store. I assume they do fine, even well, on this stuff--I wish they could teach other liquor stores to do the same. It seems like a good one stop shop if having a party. My only major gripe with the place is the hours. I'm rarely done with my day by the time they are closed, and they are closed Sunday. It's okay to not be a midnight liquor place, but even by my standards they close early. All in all, a good place, with nice ownership, and my proximity to it makes me a regular.
google avatar

Nate P.

Yelp
Elio's has a great selection of wine, beer, and hard liquor. An especially great part of the store is the 50% off rack by the cash register, which is a great place to pick up some $10-15 bottles of wine that don't taste like $10-15 dollar bottles of wine. Their prices are fairly good, but not great. They do have a wide variety of liquor that's harder to find in other stores (no Tanqueray #10 or Rangpur though...shame). However, you can usually save between $5-10 dollars by going to Rouse's, Winn-Dixie, or Rite-Aid to buy the same things. Their keg selection is probably the best in New Orleans. As long as you order ahead, you can get most anything in several different sized kegs. Unfortunately, they won't take keg orders over the phone or internet though, which can be a bother depending on where you live. I do wish they could extend their hours as well, as they close at 7 Monday-Wednesday and 8 Thursday-Saturday. Parking can be a huge hassle. They share a tiny lot with Felipe's as well as an even smaller lot next to the store, which can be incredibly tricky to get in and out of.
google avatar

Chad C.

Yelp
Good prices on kegs and friendly service. No charge tap rentals too. Just an extra deposit. They sell cups too. Its like a kegger-in-a-box set. Have a good selection too! Got a keg of Shiner Bock there. Oh it was like home in a glass. Or several glasses.
google avatar

Tim M.

Yelp
If you own a Kegerator and don't finish kegs in 7 days or less, DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR KEGS HERE! After being a repeat customer for 2 years I attempted to return my last keg shell as I received military orders out of New Orleans. I was never informed of a forfeiture of my $50 deposit if the keg shell was not returned in 7 days or less, nor is the policy posted. It is QUITE THE RACKET they have going on at this establishment. Only repeated response from the manager was "we had to pay for a new keg". Call me crazy but isn't that what my $50 deposit was for? Maybe I should have demanded the original keg shell since I paid $50 for it.

Yelp
This "wine warehouse" stocks better stuff at a better price than a place like Whole Foods. Yet they also give friendlier, more down-to-earth service than a place like Swirl. A year or two ago I stumbled into an unadvertised (or at least minimally advertised) steel-aged wine tasting that actually turned out to be the most fun and educational one I've ever attended. Therein lies Elio's weakest quality, however: Their website is ancient school. You have to pretty much consult with the spirits to discover their event schedule or specials. I don't live Uptown anymore but if I knew on which days they're selling the best vodka in the universe (Van Gogh) for $9.99 a bottle I would be there on all of those days :-) But seriously! I've been a customer for six years and have tried I'm pretty sure every other wine-selling-type establishment in the New Orleans area and although many of them are cool in their own ways, this one's still my fave. Forgive them for their lack of hipness already and at least give them a shot!

Patrick K.

Yelp
Service here is absolutely amazing. I've been a frequent customer over the past two years and recently had a problem with my order. I called and had my issue resolved expertly. The staff went out of their way to help me out when they didn't really have to. Elio's is the best liquor store in the area with a great selection. Also their current system during COVID-19 is amazing. You don't even have to leave your car!
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
Love their selection! This place reminds me exactly of the places I'd frequent back in the Carolinas. What I really love is their beer selection -- which Rouse's pretty much matches.. with selection and price. I guess it just depends on the area you're in.. The staff is very friendly and helpful and pointed me in the right direction as soon as I stopped in. I love drinking local beers in whatever state I currently live in, and this place has everything I need. Their keg prices also seem fairly legit, although I haven't rented a keg since college. And being right across the street from Felipe's? Added bonus. Do yourself a favor and pick up a 6-pack of local beer, or some good wine.. and a burrito.. and you'll have a successful night.

Yelp
Went here yesterday to place an order for three kegs for a corporate event. Their selection is great, but the service was so embarrassing. The woman behind the counter repeatedly snapped and demeaned my pregnant colleague, who does not live in New Orleans and is in town to help with an event. My colleague asked a few questions, including the difference between the three types of Abita kegs Elio's recommended. The woman at the counter snapped back, "Well, they all have alcohol in them" and rolled her eyes at her co-worker. It was so embarrassing. I've never seen a service person in New Orleans treat a guest so poorly. Unlike other reviewers, we had no trouble with parking. But I would have gladly taken a lousy parking spot for a friendly employee at the counter.

Yelp
I hosted a New Years Eve party at one of the Bourbon Street hotel suites for 70 or so people. A visit here took care of all of our liquor needs. Prices seemed fair and they spent the time to figure out what exactly we would need. They did tell us that they would buy back any unopened beer or liquor that we did not use. They would NOT buy back wine as they said "we have no idea how you will store it". I don't agree... especially if you return it two days later, but Ok... fair enough. Based on their recommendations we purchased 1600.00 worth of product and they delivered it for free the same day. Very convenient. Well why only 4 stars? We purchased so much of this and that based on their recommendations. They were WAY off in how much beer to buy and way over sold wine.... So, I ended up with almost 3 cases of wine I couldn't return.... Somewhat costly... and we ran out of beer... That being said, I would go back to them when I had another large order..... I would just cut their wine recommendation in half and double the recommended amount of beer!
google avatar

Tory S.

Yelp
I LOVE ELIO'S. Excellent wine selection, knowledgeable and friendly staff, occasional wine tastings, extremely reasonable prices, and whenever I buy a case of wine they always carry it to my car for me. The recommendations from the staff have been SPOT-ON and they always point out the specials they are running, which I find to be a very nice touch. They CRUSH Rouse's for selection and ANIHILATE Whole Foods on price. Elio's DOMINATES. I know this review seems a little intense but that's just how strongly I feel about this establishment.

Yelp
I'm always looking for new places to buy craft beer here in New Orleans. As you already know my go to store is Steins Deli but I'm always looking for places to promote here on the site. Just because I like Stein's doesn't mean you will or maybe you will be looking for something closer to you. Not too long ago I was posting stuff about the Parish Brewing Grand Reserve and Andrew Pollack pointed out that Elio's Wine Warehouse had some. Now as a Tulane grad this came to me as a bit funny. I remember Elio's being the place to get your cheap beer while in college. I have never thought of Elio's as a place to go to get good craft beer. I was wrong. The wife and I decided to stop by Elio's on our way to pick up our daughter from school. I just wanted to check out Andrew's recommendation and see if Elio's truly was another craft beer destination for New Orleans. Upon walking in it's all wine and liquor but off to the left is shelves and a cooler full of beer. They also have a large section of large bottle format beers. Obviously they had tons of macro beer but being that it's Mardi Gras and also right near a college campus you should expect those things. The important thing for me is that they had a nice selection of craft beers. Green Flash, Bayou Teche, NOLA Brewing, Sierra Nevada, etc. They also have a huge back cooler for kegs. This may be the place to go for kegged craft beer. I spoke with owner Tim and he said they can special order craft beer kegs for his customers. As usual most craft beer kegs have to be special ordered so plan ahead. Overall I was impressed. Elio's has definitely changed since I was in college. Very clean, bright and great customer service. If you are in the area make sure you stop by and check it out! Buy some beer and let them know The Beer Buddha sent ya! Okay, don't. They probably won't care. Oh and bonus, they are right across the parking lot from Felipes Taqueria

Mason R.

Yelp
The staff is horrible. The people working here are very rude. I got a keg and it took 20 minutes because they didn't know if they had it in stock or not. When asked what's taking so long, I got no response and the people behind the counter we're just talking to themselves and not even recognizing me. It was a horrible experience and I will not be coming back again, also not going to recommend anyone to go here. The staff members are a bunch of a** holes.
google avatar

Chad G.

Yelp
Two stars for the selection alone. The rudeness of the lady at the register will keep me away from this place. I had an all around odd situation that could have gone way better if the lady would have been more pleasant. Reading other reviews I see her negative attitude isn't recluse. A retail establishment should care more about how they interact with customers than this lady does.

Josh C.

Yelp
"They don't price over the phone" the lady told me as if I were trash for asking. They do not advertise price on their website either. So there is that, I guess. Not worth the bad streets, or trouble in finding this place to visit. Rouses has better prices, also easier to find.

M R.

Yelp
We came to Elio's looking for a local vodka we tried at brunch and possibly some local beers. The young lady working the counter acknowledged us when we walked in, but neither she nor the two young men working in the store ever asked if we needed any help, despite looking around the liquor section for a while, then doing the same in the beer section. We found the vodka and maybe the keg selection is better, but the canned/bottled selection of beer wasn't anything impressive. We were looking for two or three in particular and none were available. No worries- found them at Whole Foods and Rouse's for cheaper than what Elio's had comparable beers priced at and had staff members at both places offer to help us find what we were looking for.
google avatar

Annie J.

Yelp
I had a few basic questions about their products and asked simply and politely. The staff member I dealt with was extremely rude and unhelpful.
google avatar

John R.

Yelp
Great selection of wines and liquors. The prices are pretty good, though I have found cheaper spots. I really love the half price wines for expanding my palate. The beer selection is pretty good, but I would like more refrigerated beers.
google avatar

Ryan W.

Yelp
Decent wine and alcohol selection, convenient location. typical prices. A-OK in my book. parking in the lot can be a pain in the ass. They also have good prices for kegs.

Erica F.

Yelp
These are the nicest owners and staff ever. They are educated on their product and are so helpful. The young men they employ will carry your bags and load your kegs(for your party) into your car. Their prices are reasonable and they always have sales. I'm lucky to have found this quaint store and these great sales staff.

Frank A.

Yelp
Hey I just tried to return a bottle of tequila, and the cashier and the manager said "that they don't refund liquor purchases". I said they should post that policy and was told "they are not required to". I checked the receipt and saw no mention. I've never been to a wine shop/liquor store that has that policy. What irked me was that nothing is posted. Kinda bad business practice
google avatar

Julie L.

Yelp
I have never been so mistreated by a company in my entire life. I will never step foot in that place ever again. I have spent over $1000 a year with Elio's and now I will be taking my money somewhere else. I order 5 kegs of beer every year for my annual St,. Patrick's day Party. I went into the store to do my ordering on March 6th. (The party is on THE 17th OF MARCH!!) They tell me that the cut-off date for green beer was March 5th. (insanely early cut off date) I asked kindly if there was anything they can do, considering how much money I have spend with them over the years, and always bringing back the kegs and taps promptly. They tell me this is not there policy, but their distributors, Cresent Crown. She insisted that there was no way possible to still get green beer thru them after the cutt off date. I gave the woman my number, and asked her to PLEASE give me a call if there was any way possible to get the green kegs. She said she would have to talk to the boss man, and see what he says. She did wind up calling me back a few hours later to inform me that the distributor would infact deliver the kegs, and told me to come back across town to pay for them which of course i was going to do, but in my busy day, unfortunately, was not going to be able to make it back before they closed at 7, because i had to pick up some friends at the airport at 6:00. I kindly called back and the "boss man" answered the phone. I told him that i was not going to be able to make it by 7:00, if he could wait 5 minutes for me to get there , or i could be there first thing in the morning. He then goes off, YELLING at me over the phone! "NO i will NOT wait for you! DO you know how many strings i had to pull to even get you this order!! NO you can not come here 5 minutes late! NO you can not get here in the morning! If you are not here by 7, this deal is no longer available!" I could not believe the attitude that this man had with me over the phone. I said, " That's fine sir, if that is how you want to do business with someone that gives you over $1000 worth of business every year, I will take my order elseware. He says, "Fine." Finally i tell him that i would like to cancel my Guiness keg order and get my $368 dollars back first thing in the morning and the only thing he says to me is "YEP" and HUNG UP THE PHONE!!! UNBELIEVABLE AND UNCALLED FOR! I did my ordering with Rouse's for the kegs and had a wonderful experience. I asked the lady who their distributor was for the green kegs, and she informed me that it was CRESENT CROWN, and that their cutoff date was MARCH 14th. Yeah...that "boss man" at Elio's had to pull SOOOOOOOOOO many strings. What a jerk. Do yourself a favor and do not support businesses that lack the basic skills of CUSTOMER SERVICE! There are many other places in the city of New Orleans to get liquor from!

I also had the same experience with a Keg. I bought a corny Keg of beer for my kegerator (and also a CO2 tank). NEVER mentioned that if it didn't come back in 7 days that I would lose my deposit, nor is this policy mentioned anywhere. They could have gained a loyal and repeat customer, but I would't buy chewing gum there now. FWIW, I am a thirty-something year old woman who had a child with her. I'm obviously not going to consume a keg in 7 days. It's clearly a racket!

Yelp
Not a huge selection, but there are half off wine racks that change frequently. Cost effective way to taste different wines.

Yelp
Great selection, even had the hard to find anywhere else stuff. Prices are at retail. There is a 50% or more off rack of things to look through. Sometimes they have really good cheap wine.

Yelp
I have been shopping at Elio's since my 21st birthday. I always appreciated the wide variety of beers they stocked and they have Abita for like $1-$.50 less than anywhere else I have seen. However, today I had a terrible experience there that will prevent me from ever shopping there again. My boyfriend and I came in to each purchase our own six pack. I handed the cashier my card and my NY state ID (that's where I grew up and was licensed to drive) and made my purchase with no issue. My boyfriend, almost five years older than me hands the cashier his card and his Florida ID (that's where he grew up) and some manager looking man swoops in and says "oh we can't sell you anything without a Louisiana state ID". Ummm excuse me sir? I just bought this beer two seconds ago with my NY ID and have shopped here countless times before without issue. The man claims this is Louisiana state law and there's nothing he can do. I grabbed the six pack I already paid for and walked out. Does this dude think I'm an idiot? Sorry Elio's but you lost a loyal customer. I know the underage Tulane and Loyola crowd try to pass fakes by you guys but that means you need to recognize a real ID when you see one!

Yelp
We, too, fell for the promise of return from Elio himself (see other reviews), and bought over $800 in liquor for our wedding. He told us as long as we purchased what he said and the amounts he said, he would buy back any unopened bottles. Not so. He sold us way too much, then when we tried to bring it back, he told me I should count myself lucky to get a store credit for over $260! He will say anything to make the sale, but once they have your money, forget about it. Flat out dishonest. May be fine for students looking to score a keg or a bottle of wine, but if you have to spend serious money, spend it elsewhere.

Yelp
Not sure I'd go here again. While one employee was very helpful the woman who checked us out was very rude. No thanks. If I can get what I need at Rouse's or Whole Foods I'll do without the rudeness.
