Completely delicious, a 5-star establishment. Only showing low rating for lack of accessibility and accessibility transparency. Like many places in the east village, this place is inaccessible. However, at least as of September 2023, it reads accessible on Google Maps, which it’s not. Fortunately the shop is small enough that you can be see and be seen and probably get what you want if you want it. But not accessible and could be easily with a short ramp. If you’re not accessible, you get one star. That’s how I roll 🤷‍♂️ IMAGE DESCRIPTION: the facade of the shop. There’s a step to get in, and the door is closed.

Amazing delectable and high quality dessert shop! So glad we found a solid dessert place offerings baked goods made without refined sugar!! We got the banana bread, carrot cake, croissant, chocolate cake. Everything tasted wonderful full of flavors and could tell quality ingredients were used (vs. the common pastries out there made with lots of cheap refined sugar) We also had the chagaccino (mocha sweetened with monk fruit, Chaga, oat milk) which was such a yummy and warming drink that's supposed to be good for my cognitive function, energy level, and anti-aging!

Genuinely some of the best baked goods I've ever had. I could eat 1038484 of their chocolate chip cookies. Please try!

The flourless chocolate cake is Amazing, holy cow. It knocked our socks off! I picked up the 6" for my husband's birthday and he couldn't stop raving about it. Outstanding and the owner is really sweet, she shared some other helpful tips about being GF too. We're going back to try her other treats @

Amazing, gluten free and vegan bakery! Really really delicious and amazing pastries which like strike an amazing balance between not being too sweet just the right amount. I still haven’t had the pleasure to try there croissant, but I have tried pretty much all the rest of their pastries. Oh and the counter person is very nice.

Really enjoyed the apple cider bars and the chagaccino mushroom coffee. The gentlemen at the counter were delightful and made great recommendations. I love that everything is made with organic ingredients and no refined sugar in addition to being dedicated gluten-free (important since I have celiac disease). Prices are reasonable and the location is great.

I was going to give 3 but I took one off cuz of the service. Every time I come here (which isn’t often) the staff is rude and passive aggressive. If I ask questions they act annoyed. I thought it was just me, but seein how the owner responds passive aggressively and snarky to negative reviews, shows me enough. Happened the first time, happened the second. Childish and rude. You don’t know what someone is going through. It’s hard times, we just want dessert. The food, I got the lemon square before, I won’t lie. Phenomenal. Delicious, sweet and tart. Edit: I also got the croissants. I thought maybe it was because there’s no yeast, it wouldn’t be flaky. I was correct. I had them day one at room temp, as suggested: they were very dry, and dense. Lacked flavor. A little too sweet in my opinion, expecting a warm, salty and butter flavor. They reminded me more of those pilsbury “crescents”. I had them the next day warmed up, much better. They pull apart very nicely when warm. Soft, like a croissant should be, a hint of butter but I think it needs more, there’s a flavor missing. Good with some jam. They’re good as a snack, but they’re very small. $5 a croissant, you get 4 small ones. Given the ingredients, it makes sense for the price, just wish they were bigger. I’d give them a 3/5. They’re pretty. Overall, I don’t feel too comfortable in returning because of the customer service, I have not had a warm experience personally twice and I enjoy when I come somewhere and I feel welcome.

I’ve been hunting for great gluten free places around NYC- this is the cutest little shop! The banana bread was moist and delicious and tasted just like regular banana bread. Great warm drinks too!
