elixir by Dom Wódki

"It’s all about vodka at this fashionable bistro that forms part of the ‘Vodka House’, which also includes a museum and cocktail bar. There are over 750 versions of the spirit to choose from, accompanied by well-cooked dishes prepared with care. The menu prioritises classic flavours in dishes like beef tartare, chicken broth and dumplings. Friendly service enhances the experience and there is, of course, always a vodka recommendation at the ready." - Michelin Inspector

An unforgettable culinary journey! The food was exquisite—each course beautifully crafted and perfectly paired with premium Polish vodkas. A true Michelin-worthy experience. Special thanks to Kuba, the coolest, most knowledgeable and friendly waiter we’ve ever had. He elevated the entire evening with his impeccable service. Highly recommended!

It's my first time visiting Warsaw. This is the best restaurant by far. The food was amazing. The attention to detail was spectacular. The flavors of each dish that was brought out were scrumptious. The combination of textures in the food was delectable. The pictures of the food will amaze you. The service was amazing. The host was very awesome. It was my first night in Poland, and I googled the best restaurants in Warsaw. Elixir was the top rated one. So I went by to try it with my friend. That being said, it was a Saturday night. So, the chances of getting seated were very slim. Yet, the host helped find us a table and made our night. After we got seated, our waiter came by and helped us. He is extremely professional. I've never had a waiter like him. He went into detail of each dish and how it was prepared, made, where it came from, and a bit of history. Other Michelin Star restaurants that I've been to weren't as top tier compared to Elixir. The atmosphere was very vibrant. It was an elegant but modern restaurant. Every table felt alive and living in the moment. It's a great pick for a date. You have to try the vodka tasting option. This will forever be a memorable experience.

This was my special Warsaw treat. I came for the beef carpaccio and ended up getting the tasting menu. Wow. Excellence all around but the tuna carpaccio knocked my socks off. If you’re a bread girlie don’t skip it. And the risotto and halibut also 10/10. Beef was perfection if that’s your thing but I was quite full by that point. Grear mash. Perfection. I was a solar diner Tonight and Daniel was an excellent host/server, with the perfect amount of explanation (knew more of the he words in English than me). Class act grabbing a blanket for me. One of my fave Northern European treats. Bustling vibe. Chilll cool music that’s not annoying. Lots of russkiis. And people celebrating.

We visited Elixir by Dom Wódki during Valentine’s weekend, and it was a fantastic experience! The place was beautifully decorated for the occasion, which made the atmosphere even more special. I was there with my wife and our small child, and the staff was super welcoming and accommodating, making sure we all felt comfortable. The food was amazing – Service (Ms Anna) was friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations. Overall, a great spot for a special afternoon out or just to enjoy top-quality Polish food and drinks. Highly recommend!

Amazing dinner for vodka lovers and non-drinkers alike! I had the burrata and chicken kiev/de vollaile, which were both fabulous. My dad enjoyed tartare, dover sole, and vodka pairings. Excellent service as well. The atmosphere was swank but not stuffy, and easily walkable from Old Town. Dessert was average, but not the focus of the meal anyway.

After hearing so much about this famous restaurant, I was so excited to try it out, but unfortunately it fell very flat for me, especially given the cost. The bar area had uncomfortable seats, and my area of the bar was covered with Pellegrino bottles and no one bothered to clear them out to make the space more open for me. When we sat down at the table, my chair was abutting into the doorway, making it awkward. King prawns appetizer was fine, nothing amazing. The aspic with pork knuckle was really interesting and perhaps the only thing we really enjoyed. My main course was the lamb shank, which was perfectly fine albeit a bit dry (came with no sauce at all). The vegetables on the plate were unadorned, sauceless, and sometimes raw and unseasoned which is preposterous. Given the price, I was shocked at how naked and unprepared it was. Also price ended up being the most expensive meal we had in Warsaw at over 1000 zloty for 2 pax, definitely not worth it given the dull flavor profile of the food served.

Having dinner at this place with my friends was a pleasant experience. A good start with pork jelly (I know, I know—it’s not for everyone, but it was really tasty), an excellent steak as the main dish, and a pistachio puff as the final touch. Each dish had its own recommended high-quality vodka pairing, which complemented the flavors perfectly. One of the experiences I would love to repeat.

Yelp
Excellent, excellent, excellent! That's all I can say--this place is nothing short of remarkable. Totally, 100% worth it. Hands down, one of the best meals I've had in Poland. The mushroom soup? Heavenly. The steak tartare? Divine. The duck? I'm still thinking about it. And don't even get me started on the dessert--it was the cherry on top of an already perfect meal. We would return in a heartbeat. Seriously, they deserve that Michelin star, and then some!

Yelp
This restaurant definitely deserves a big spot on Warsaw culinary map. We stopped for a quick lunch without a reservation and got seated right away. If you are fan of vodka this place has a great pairings and lot of different types to choose. We chose beers from small brewery. They also have a selection of wines but not that wide if it comes to wine by the glass unless you want to get the whole bottle. They have nice deal for lunch with appetizer, main and dessert but you can still choose a la carte and this is what we did. Chicken broth--served with veal dumplings. Delicious an rich in flavor. `Szuba` Herring--this deconstruction of classic herring salad was a blast and the fish quality was outstanding. this was definitely one of the best herring dishes we ever had. Its a must try. Black Pudding Tempura "Kaszanka"--black pudding is a very well known polish cuisine staple and this idea of serving it was absolutely fantastic. Crispy outer layer containing warm and delicious inside served with carmelized onions, mustard and cherries was a perfect appetizer. Zuchini flowers--super crispy with delicious filling containing goat cheese and topped with almonds and rice chip. Light, savory and very satisfying. All the dishes had an awesome visual presentation that went with great flavor as well. I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Lovely spot with large portions of delicious food and pairings of vodka. The space was overheated and initial service a bit slow but beyond that I would recommend this place. Two courses and dessert is plenty unless you're sharing. The mushroom soup was great and duck was amazing.

Yelp
Food was excellent. Service was very attentive. Staff spoke English. You should do the vodka pairing.

Yelp
I know, "Vodka Atelier" is pretentious as f**k. But, do get past that, for the food is stellar, the staff is friendly to a fault, the (infused) vodkas are excellent, and did I mention the food is stellar? The cuisine is modernized/re-interpreted versions of traditional polish cuisine, and is *stellar* * sous-vide eggs w/ the beef tartar * pork knuckles that have been de-constructed for you (and don't worry, there is still way more than you can consume) * black-pudding in "spring roll" form and so forth. It may sound wonky (or, well, pretentious), but trust me, it is *extremely* well done. And yes, the place is, technically, a "vodka bar", with a bajillion flavored (and not) vodkas available - each of the items on the menu has a suggested "pre" and "post" vodka shot, all of which actually pair well with the food. And yes, it might be a "mini" shot, but, well, you'll still feel the effects. So, be careful!!!

Yelp
Well, everything has been said by others here already. Can only add that the desserts are also worth trying - goat (sic!) cheesecake with a (master)piece of yolk cake (sękacz) and raspberry sorbet paired with Majewski's Polish cherry plum liquer did crown the dinner.

Yelp
Exceptional food with immaculate presentation. Vodka pairings that will make you wonder why you haven't been drinking the stuff your whole life. Atmosphere that will definitely lead to a second date. What more could you ask for? Maybe a larger gut so you could try every offering. Elixir was the perfect antidote for all of my ailments.

Yelp
The food was amazing and the service was equally amazing. This is a restaurant where you can order literally anything on the menu and it'll taste good.

Yelp
Great, just great. Good friendly service, inviting atmosphere, good selection of food and alcohol. We had pierogi with duck, traditional beetroot soup with modern twist, and traditional sledzie. Everything was accompanied by traditional vodka. I tried horseradish vodka and I have to say, very interesting combination :-). Very lively place so you wont get bored quick, but at the same time place is not so loud. High quality, the only minus is the very small portions!

Yelp
A true culinary experience. The restaurant combines their wonderful dishes with matching vodkas. 2017 the restaurant received a star in the guide michelin.

Yelp
Great place with superb twist on classic polish dishes (kaszanka, golonka, mielony, etc.) with excellent alcohol pairings. Big selection of cocktails or just vodka, with some very unique like 'chrzanowa' (horseradish flavor).Excellent presentation, great attention to detail. I've had beef tartar which was superbly done, and pork hock (golonka) wich was a total surprise, not what you would normally expect. No bone, no skin, no fat and on a bed of sauerkraut, with sides of young potatoes (could be better done) and horseradish ice cream (yummy). I'm normally not a pork hock fan but this one I highly recommend to anyone. Fish (halibut) was fantastic as well, so it was kotlet mielony (pork). Kotlet de volaille (chicken) was an average though. To finish, the ajerkoniak was the best I've ever had. As a bonus, you can buy and take with you home different bottles of vodka.

Yelp
Simply superb! A modern twist on traditional polish cuisine. Friendly staff, excellent Vodka and whisky selection and great food.
