Elixir Lounge Kava Bar

I literally came for an art event here. Cassandra(The Manager i think), and Alexandria(The worker and bar attender)! Bro i loved every bit of the whole place! The staff was just super friendly and kind. Id definitely recommend it for hanging out. Its a very chill cozy place with all the tiki vibes and all the other marked out events on there chalk board seem soo exciting! Even their drinks not just being soo flavorful but soo aesthetically decorated!

Very interesting drink concoctions. Located in cozy old time spring town. Very friendly atmosphere. One pool table in the back. One bathroom for use. Lots of games to play as well as a big table for large crowd. Cozy chairs. Appealing drink presentation. Good experience. Kava and Kratom vending machines.

Okay, I was thrilled to find a kava bar in Houston! Let alone in lovely old town spring . The vibes were just perfect. Very tropical /polynesian. I got to introduce my family to the relaxing effects of kava . The sweet lady working behind the bar was knowledgeable and kind with a great sense of humor . And she found my credit card when I misplaced it!

Went for bingo and had a great time! Nice break from bars, and a fantastic place to spend an evening. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable which made our first time there extra fun. Can't wait to come back!

Welcoming, fun, and busy atmosphere. I was super happy to see this place full with a variety of people enjoying company and their kava! It appeared to be an open mic night, and there was so great talent. The kava was very good & I tried a cocoakava drink (seasonal) that was yummy if you like hot cocoa. I look forward to returning for sure. We sat on the patio for our visit since it was packed inside when we got there, and great weather outside - where we ended up settling even when indoors freed up space. They set up the sound outside, too, so we could enjoy the singers. So, so happy to discover there's kava in Houston/Spring. I'd been missing it, not realizing it was not too far out of the way, right in the heart of Old Town Spring.

I found out about this place through a Yelp event and had to try them again! Me and my best friend were in the area and knew we had to mellow out with one of their Kava drinks!! Loved it. Would highly recommend thier Lemon ginger tea with kava added! The kava made me feel very calm and relaxed! A similar effect that alcohol would have!! The establishment is just as I had remembered, very spacious with plenty of seating and games you can play as you sit and enjoy your drinks! Loved the music selection too!! Parking is a bit crazy but available via the street. Totally free and you can park anywhere along with street!

The vibe of the place is pretty chill. I ordered an iced watermelon mint tea with Cava. It was refreshing. The guy who took my order was very informative. I look forward to trying other varieties next time! The place is located in Old Town Spring, which has adequate parking on the streets.

Service. Service. Service. The manager of Elixir Lounge goes above and beyond to teach newcomers about the beverages offered and to make everyone feel like a priority. The menu has many amazing offerings. I am excited about returning for more. All the drinks are non-alcoholic, tropical, and sweet! The whole place gives a relaxed, welcoming vibe, from the encouragement of the Bula neon sign to the art gallery in the back featuring talented Spring artists. Elixir Lounge is one of a kind!

This place is so cute!!! Great music and great staff very friendly and welcoming . The drinks are delicious, and great atmosphere to hangout.

The space itself is very clean and beautifully decorated, pet and kid friendly environment. The kava itself is overpriced and pretty weak. I've been to better kava bars for sure. If you're looking for an alternative to alcohol this would be the place, but for me it just wasn't worth the expense. I'd rather drink club soda.

If you're looking for a unique drink experience, Kava is a must-try and this Kava bar is the perfect spot to do so. The bartenders are knowledgeable and passionate about providing you the best experience. I highly recommend trying their signature Mojo-ito with Kava, it's fruity & refreshing without being too overwhelming on the Kava. The bar itself has a chill and relaxing lounge vibe that's perfect for unwinding. My only critique is that the consistency of their Kava Shells can be improved. Sometimes the shells are diluted and watery and other times they're really really good. Overall, I would definitely recommend checking out this spot.

10/10, highly recommend. Our barista/staff member was Karla and she was amazing - so friendly, great service, personable, and knowledgeable with everything on the menu/offering us suggestions. We got to learn so much about Elixir and Kava. This was our first time at Elixir. We've been to Old Town Spring plenty of times but never seen this lounge. The outside aesthetics caught our eye, it's such a cute establishment. The ambiance is a whole vibe. The seating, the colors, the theme, very spacious and cozy - it's a really cute lounge. They have snacks, coffee, mocktails, seltzers, tea, and other refreshments. I just got a latte when we came, and it was delicious! They do Open Mic Night, participate in cute events like Ugly Christmas Sweater, and cool deals/drink specials (wear a Tiki shirt on Tuesday and get 50% off mocktails), etc. There is ample amount of space to just lounge, chill, work, study, play, be social. They have endless amount of games, also have coloring books too. I'm so happy we found this place strolling Old Town Spring, and I can already tell I'll be a regular!

Tiramisu coffee that my friend got! I got the blue Hawaii and it was amazing! Cassandra was so sweet and informative. The vibes in here are so fun and relaxing. There are so many great options here and they also have events like karaoke, open mics, arts and crafts, and so many other fun things to do! Pretty let down with my first visit today. Another shop across the way mentioned we should check them out. While my s/o was shopping, I walked across the way. The setup is pretty cool, and they had plenty of interesting drinkd and a special menu. I was in there for maybe 10 minutes, stood at the bar, and was ignored. So I ran into the restroom for a moment and came back and stood by the register. The young lady was taking a while with another customer. so I thought it was no big deal. I left and grabbed my s/o, and we came back over so he could see the location. This time, I stood at the register and waited.....and waited.....and waited.....the lady at the register ignored me for a while and then mentioned something about closing her drawer. She asked if I needed to check out, and I said no, I would like to order something. However, she told me she needed to finish something at the register first. No big deal, I thought until another guy came over and started to check out his customer at the bar. Eventually, I got to order, but I felt completely disregarded. The guy started making my drink but tried asking me about kava and something else. I explained that I was unaware of what it was, and the lady explained it, but it was hard to hear her, so instead of asking her to repeat, I just declined. I had ordered a golden tiger, and it was an okay drink. I was extremely disappointed with the service and lack of communication with a customer who is directly in front of you. Maybe I came in on an off day, but it left a bitter taste in my mouth for sure.

This place is legit, never had kava before. If you are a person with a high tolerance to things, you will still feel relaxed. Great for getting sober and simultaneously taking the edge off. Brook was super nice bar tender. Great ambiance too.

Staff were highly knowledgeable and wonderful. Best Kava lounge I've been to! Drinks were tasty with Awesome balance, left feeling very lovely- and did not leave my mouth feeling numb like other places I've been to! Kid drinks were offered to my little one and she loved the juices. We will be back

I've been curious about Kratom and Kava so I was really excited to see this lounge in Old Town Spring. I know very little about it so I was really thankful for the knowledge, patience and recommendations from Karla. You can tell she knows her stuff. The drinks were delicious and I'm looking forward to returning and trying more things.

Definitely recommend this place. The inside is adorable and their is an outside patio. A good variety of drinks to have there and also stuff to take to go.

Found this place on google. I was super curious to try kava. I ordered the Mai Tai and it's amazing. Such a chill alternative to going out to a bar. Definitely bringing my friends and family!! P.S The decor and the vibe is worth the visit too! The staff make you feel very welcome.

The best lounge!!! Awesome drinks and knowledgeable fun staff they'll be glad to tell ya about the plant medicines you can add to your non alcoholic tiki drinks and they have cream teas and coffees!! they're pet friendly and love the arts as they have a local art gallery! and hold space for weekly & monthly events! Super cool kind people are found at this lounge. And they have games!!

Service was great. Very friendly staff and cool laid back patrons. Kara is the manager and she always makes everyone feel welcome and usually lines up some interesting entertainment.

Drinks are amazing they definitely know how to cover the taste of some of their ingredients. My personal favorite is the white peach mango tea. The service is spectacular everyone is fully knowledgeable on their products and super friendly. As for the environment it's very relaxing. I love just stopping by for a drink while I'm out playing Pokémon Go. Everyone should stop by at least once and check it out.

This place is awesome! I just discovered it, and I'm so excited about it! The atmosphere is amazing , the customer service is excellent, everyone is so nice. I'm super excited to take home some products to try. The. Lavender lady and Pina Colada were great! Definitely coming back!!!

I highly recommend Elixir Lounge for your daily hangout spot, or even just to stop in and pick up some of their amazing coffees, teas, mocktails, or just some of their straight kava & elixir!! The employees are very knowledgeable and friendly. You can come and play games, bring your kids, & there is always different activities provided.

Our barista Carla was very knowledgeable about all of the drink choices, and very energetic! We had two mock tails - a daiquiri and a Funky Monkey that were excellent. If ever in Old Town Spring, I suggest checking it out!

This place is a great treat. Great staff, great drinks, great atmosphere. I try to come here when I have a little extra money to spend. Definitely support them, it's a great place in old Town spring :)
