Elixir Pool Bar & Grill

This was such a great poolside bar. It’s located inside the Sonder V hotel and the drinks are great. My favorite cocktail from Elixir is the watermelon splash. It was super refreshing and the bartender was really nice. When I was there, they were only serving drinks so we didn’t get to try the food

Cute patio and great drink menu. Had the wedge salad and it was delicious! The pool next to restaurant is the family pool so a little noisy but not to disruptive. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

All day menu selections are great, good amount of serving. Roger by the bar is accommodating. Ambiance is awesome!

It's nice enough and the bartenders are great but the prices are incredibly high. $9 for a can of beer!! They could really be doing a robust service but are losing lots of opportunities and it's so easy to see why. Lots of things need fixing in rooms and around hotel and they don't meet expectations for the price you're paying. Shocking really. From construction noise to no hot water 1 day, dirty floors, sticky counter tops, have to pay for maid service, no dresser for your clothes (so inconvenient). It could be a really nice place but it's just not there unfortunately.

Spent a weekend afternoon there and was very happy with everything. Food and cocktails were very good, with large portions and appropriate prices. They had a DJ playing music in the afternoon that was enjoyable (my 60 year old parents even enjoyed it), and a day pass for the pool (I wasn't a hotel guest) was only $20 while other pools in the area were double that or more. Will definitely be back next time I am in PS.

Had dinner at the pool with my wife . We had ordered $41 of food and we never received it. Came to find out that the cook had left for the night. The lady at the bar had said she was going to reimburse me. Still waiting after 8 days and no reimbursement. I can’t even get a hold of anyone there. Their phone number here is not a working number. Just read another comment of a lady that got $400 taken from her. What’s going here be carful.

This is a lesson to always check your credit card statement. Imagine my surprise when I checked my statement and saw that these jokers increased my bill from $380 (including tax and gratuity) to $435. I always keep a copy of my receipts so I can confirm that this is a complete after-the-fact markup. Shady.

Cool bar next to the 21+ pool, located in the V Palm Springs Hotel. Niko the bartender was awesome. Such a convience to have next to a Palm Springs pool.

A trendy bar by the pool at Sonder Hotel. Grabbed a Watermelon Splash and Cucumber Crush to chill by the pool during the DJ set and it was refreshing! I liked the Watermelon Splash best. Good vibes and good drinks here!! They were $16 each which is a little pricy but if you're staying at Sonder it is very convenient.

Easy access aesthetic pool bar at the Sonder hotel. Their menu is much simpler in person than online and not updated in pricing so just know you might not be able to order what you see online. Got a mezcal drink ($16) and IPA ($10) and the chicken tenders ($15). The drink was strong so at least semi worth the more expensive price. I really liked the fries and the cilantro ranch that the chicken tenders came with. The fries had a seasoning might have been tajin that made them super tasty! Granted it is winter and not many people are hanging by the pool they did close at 5pm on a Friday which I thought was pretty early. Overall easy access food and drink if you're hanging out by the pool but pricey and honestly nothing special.

The bar is located inside the Sonder @ V Palm hotel. We were staying at that hotel so the bar was right across our hotel room. The bar tender was super friendly and drinks felt reasonably priced! I don't drink and got the watermelon cooler which was absolutely amaaazing for $7! The lime and mint flavors were balanced really well. Perfect drink to cool you down in the hot summer weather there

I must say, this place is AMAZING! We were lucky enough to have Mario at GIGI's in the am, which he absolutely takes command of being the best. He makes sure that people start their day off on a great vibe and gets your order down to perfection. Come and give him a shot on turning your day into a better one! Then we have Martin at the Elixir Pool Bar & Grill in the pm! He absolutely brings the same mentality. He's super on point and he'll make sure you get exactly what you ordered and if not he'll recommend something better! I will definitely be coming back!!

Drinks: They were strong and not shy on the liquor. Decent prices as well. No complaints there. Food: Wings were terrible. No seasoning at all. They legit just fried em and plated em. With som aioli that smelled weird. Chicken tenders cooked same way no flavor. Fries were decent.

Rudest server. I believe her name is Melissa. It's unfortunate because Sonder is a fun hotel. My experience at the hotel was great but the service at elixir was mediocre. I observed that she interacted with her coworkers in a friendly fashion but was extremely rude to the customers. It's possible she just doesn't like her job but that's not an excuse to treat people so rudely. Expensive drinks should come with good customer service.

Picture: chicken club. It was really good, I loved the fries! Also, we ordered the fish tacos, the españoles tacos and the chorizo quesadilla. Everything was really good. The tacos and the quesadilla don't come with a side. Chicken club came with yummy fries.

Currently with covid, they are serving a limited menu but the food is VERY good. We had the smash burger and Singapore salad. The sauce and Caramelized onions on the burger was absolutely DELISH! And overall the service and environment is very good! No complaints from me!

Great drinks! It was nice to be able to order some chicken tenders and fries while sitting by the pool. The Bloody Mary I had was good too!!

I had the lobster roll with salt & vinegar waffle chips, and it was the perfect meal to enjoy pool front. A special thank you to the bartender Nico who was a delight to be served by.

I have been coming to the V for over a year now throughout the year we stay here. The reason for this review and one star in particular is because I was absolutely shocked at the obnoxious service we revived today! Without a doubt we've always had at least 100**** service and this time was absolute no exception - I went to order drinks and food at the pool bar where for the first time ever was met with theeee most obnoxious, rude and unhelpful server named Martine I wish he never worked there! He was watching the game as I was speaking to him, he lied to say they don't deliver food to the pool and just was disgusting. I would never do this but he should not be working there - it's really bad for business. I'm not sure if his name but he had a blue cap on and a tank and an extremely gross attitude. The only reason I'll be retuning to this place is because of this wonderful gentleman named Davis who was actually so incredible, he needs a promotion ASAP we've seen him here quite a few times and on all occasions has been a ray of sunshine!

We came into town for a wedding. Stayed at the V Hotel. Decided on this spot as we had bought two nights at a charity auction. We ended up staying four days and four nights! The bar restaurant is off the hook! The chef behind the scene is a chef with mad skills. Lobster avocado toast, Huevos rancheros, and brunch was steak and eggs with chimichurri sauce. Lunch, wow, tacos, tuna tartar, shrimp lettuce wraps. The rooms are nicely appointed. We had a private balcony. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. We will be back!

I forgot to snap a pic but trust me the flavor and freshness of the fish tacos is worth coming to elixir and maybe staying at the V hotel to enjoy the modern pool with their coconut mojito. Also tried the spanish taco (steak+chorizo), chorizo quesadilla and the chicken sandwich. All of these were good portions to leave you with a full stomach.

As a bar, I'd expect them to know how to make a drink virgin. I asked for virgin margarita and the bartender was like "hmm, that'd be just like and lemon juice", I mean he should be able to substitute alcohol with something else like sparkling water. When I told him that he could add sparkling water, he got confused. So I asked what they had as virgin and he said pina colada so I got that one. It was way to sweet so I don't recommend it.

This pool bar is so much fun and always serves up the best vibes! The staff is spectacular but I would like to make a special shout out to Janet (bartender/server) as she is the staff's all star! She has the best customer service and will be the reason I come back to this pool. The food & drinks are also of notable mention as they fit perfectly into the Palm Springs atmosphere everyone is seeking. I cannot wait to return as I am now a loyal customer.

The pool was pretty busy which was great but as soon as we got settled we noticed there was someone going around taking orders by the pool and we were immediately ignored. At first i thought it was because we were in the middle of the pool out of reach but i noticed that this guy was asking people barley walking in if they wanted anything. So we moved close to the side of the pool where we were close to this group of girls and again IGNORED. And i started to think ok maybe he's prioritizing the girls but then he made complete eye contact with me, ignored me and went to the family that was also right next to us. He came by at least 3 more times and completely ignored us. My husband went to the bar to get drinks because maybe we needed to open a tan first but NOPE he came by to pick up the girls trash and walked right by until i finally stopped him and asked for drinks and he had an attitude. And that was the last time we saw him he completely ignored us while making his rounds. I saw new people coming in and before they even got into the pool all the way he was already taking their order. Ridiculous drinks and food were a 7/10 but the service made it even worse of an experience.

The online menu is a bait and switch. As are the photos. The bartender said the menu has been "scaled back" and is now all "Fried food". Lame ... and lame, lame. Yuk! Run away.

The spicy margarita alone will have me coming back, booking a room, then ordering another spicy margarita, then taking a nap, then ordering another spicy margarita, then a Small Sombrero, then a spicy margarita, then staying for a bit after check out for another spicy margarita
